Just throw some of these on under his helmet and have the Panthers sign "Hreg Gardy"]
4/7/2016 7:48:26 PM
I don't know if Hardy's a bad person, a crazy person, or just a really stupid person who did a bad thing. Either way, the Panthers can't possibly sign him after being the team that originally fucked things up. If they had just outright cut him for cause (conduct detrimental, etc...) instead of letting him linger on the roster with that commissioner's exempt bullshit, then I think we'd at least see a Mike Vick-esque show of remorse with perhaps some of it real. Instead the Panthers/NFL/Cowboys essentially rewarded him for paying off a domestic violence victim to not testify against him. The law is what it is and by the letter he's an innocent man, but that shouldn't have stopped the league from punishing him accordingly.

What if we made him #96 would anyone notice
4/9/2016 11:44:47 AM
^^ he was never found innocent
4/9/2016 12:33:46 PM
He was found guilty, appealed, which got rid of the guilty verdict, then it was settled. So semantics.
4/9/2016 1:20:20 PM
not really semanticshe was never found innocent, so he can't claim to be innocent
4/9/2016 4:11:32 PM
Courts don't find people "innocent." They find them guilty or not guilty. In North Carolina, if you're found guilty in district court and appeal that decision, you're no longer guilty until the outcome of the appellate trial, which in his case was dismissed. So according to the courts, he is not guilty because it was settled.

4/14/2016 8:57:53 AM
opening @ Denver on a Thursday nightcould easily see it being ugly, in favor of us
4/14/2016 5:28:07 PM
what would the reaction be if we took Derick Henry in the 1st round
4/14/2016 6:46:48 PM
49ers Sept 18th in CLT
4/14/2016 6:47:09 PM
Week 13 @ Seattle SNF is going to be a crazy. They play @ Oakland the week before too. I wonder if they'll just stay out there.
4/14/2016 7:39:08 PM
i, for one, welcome our new derrick henry overlords
4/14/2016 7:46:28 PM
5 primetime games
4/14/2016 7:48:16 PM
I like how Henry would fit in our system. I doubt he's there at Pick #30 though.
4/14/2016 7:51:15 PM
4/14/2016 7:52:29 PM
i'd be down with Henry in the 1st round.according to twitter this might be the scheduleif that's the case - that looks pretty good. no terrible stretch of games or anything like that. week 6 bye.[Edited on April 14, 2016 at 8:21 PM. Reason : v]
4/14/2016 8:13:47 PM
week 7*
4/14/2016 8:37:59 PM
This has to be some sort of record for most times playing a non division team. We've played seattle 11 times in 4 seasons
4/14/2016 8:42:22 PM
^^u right[Edited on April 14, 2016 at 8:42 PM. Reason : week 7 bye]
4/14/2016 8:42:23 PM
I'd be pretty mad if they took Henrydudes workload was insane and Alabama RB's tend to burn out quickly
4/14/2016 9:11:38 PM
I'm going to try to make it to both @LA and @Oakland.
4/14/2016 10:14:19 PM
4/14/2016 11:09:45 PM
He had 600 carries in 3 years. And comparing players to other players just because they went to the same school is pretty meaningless.[Edited on April 14, 2016 at 11:18 PM. Reason : Mike Glennon is gonna tear it up because NC State QBs excel in the NFL]
4/14/2016 11:17:43 PM
players who went to the same school/coach/scheme that routinely use their RB's at a much higher rate than averagenot comparable to QB's at all (or any other position, really)
4/14/2016 11:46:13 PM
This guy is another black running back from Bama, he's just like all the others[Edited on April 15, 2016 at 12:32 AM. Reason : who also routinely give their players minimal snaps their first 1-2 seasons]
4/15/2016 12:32:22 AM
Picking a RB in the first round is dumb unless they're an Adrian Peterson/Todd Gurley type. Even then, it's questionable.
4/15/2016 6:25:27 AM
^
4/15/2016 9:11:14 AM
How would picking Adrian Peterson or Todd Gurley in the first round be questionable?[Edited on April 15, 2016 at 9:12 AM. Reason : especially with the 30th pick]
4/15/2016 9:12:27 AM
LMAO people thinking Henry had too many carries at Alabama but then say they would draft AP. WHO HAD 339 CARRIES AS A TRUE FRESHMAN. AND 748 IN HIS CAREER OF 2.5 SEASONS. Gurley had <100 less carries than Henry. And the only reason he didn't have more than Henry was because he was injury prone. He averaged 2 carries/game more than Henry for his college career.Hell, at least Henry isn't coming off of a devastating knee injury. ]
4/15/2016 10:02:40 AM
I don't want to draft a 1st round RB because of the de-emphasis on the position. It has literally nothing to do with Henry or Elliot, it's the position not the player. How many starting RBs in the NFL were 1st round draft picks? A few.How many starting RBs in the NFL were 3rd round or later? A bunch. How many starting RBs in the NFL weren't even drafted? Several. With the way our offense is built, I don't see the point in taking a 1st round RB. If we draft Henry, then in Gettleman I trust, but I will be a bit surprised. I think we go defense 1st. I'm hoping this hype around Cravens is just a smokescreen and we don't end up reaching for another tweener like last year.
4/15/2016 10:52:31 AM
Picking an rb early is just dumb in the modern nfl they just aren't very valuable. Gurley was like 150 dyar Last year that isn't worth a first round pick. You need too many specialists and not enough rb are well rounded enough. Doesn't matter who we had at rb in the super bowl if a team wants to stop the run they can just adding a defender.Rb flame out so fast and there are so many available in later rounds . Plus with the injury risk they are it's just not worth investing a lot in one guy. Our running backs are pretty brutal right now though I'd like to see us take one in the 4th or 5th. Other than that we need DE, CB, S help way toof bad to worry about offense right now
