i don't love them right away. but what would you wear them with? i feel like these are a type of shoe that MAYBE MAYBE with the right outfit and the right person could be cute.but they just aren't my style at all so i have a hard time liking them.
2/18/2009 9:38:01 PM
Those don't do it for me at all I'm also more for classic shoes rather than trendy and I need some new office appropriate flats to wear, my mary janes are nearly dead.
2/18/2009 9:40:20 PM

2/18/2009 9:42:53 PM

2/18/2009 10:04:09 PM
Really??? I LOVE them. I would rock it with jeans and a t, brown cotton dress like this or a white linen dress, or i would wear it something like this... whithout the holes in the denim and embellished tank

Has anyone had a problem with moisterizers burning when they go on. Like not acid burning skin, but almost like I'm sunburnt and putting lotion on and it burns. It only burns when I first put it on, and it's only just started doing it, could it be cause my skin is extra dry right now or what?
2/18/2009 10:22:09 PM
mine used to do that. After a few weeks my face freaked out. So if it happenes no i stop using that product. I found it was happining most frequent with nutragena lotions
2/18/2009 10:52:23 PM
how many days do you go without shaving your legs?
2/19/2009 1:37:02 PM
It depends on the time of year. Usually I'll shave from the knee down once a week during the winter and twice a week over the summer. I shave the rest of my legs about half of that amount (the hair there is almost imperceptible and doesn't get prickly). I have very light hair on my legs, and it doesn't grow very fast.
2/19/2009 1:40:24 PM
I am really wanting laser hair removal!! I hate shaving all the time.
2/19/2009 1:41:26 PM
Those are two sexy outfits above. I'd buy them for my chick.
2/19/2009 1:41:59 PM
i probably shave every 2-4 days during the winter. and every other day during the summer.also depends on what i'm wearing
2/19/2009 1:42:29 PM
i'd like laser hair removal for my underarms...i'm tired of shaving my pits everyday fo sho

2/19/2009 2:39:26 PM
those are waaaaaay cute but how in the hell do you wear those for more than an hour? I want to wear heels so bad but I can't walk in them and they hurt my feet and ankles so bad. I have nice legs and they look sooooo awesome with heels.]
2/19/2009 2:47:51 PM
2/19/2009 2:52:22 PM
yeah, i have totally given up on heels. loafers and flats only plz
2/19/2009 2:57:35 PM
^same here.
2/19/2009 2:58:17 PM
Nina's are some of the most comfortable heels out there though. I can wear mine for hours, and my feet will never hurt. Other shoes, it takes five minutes and I'm ready to take them off.
2/19/2009 3:00:36 PM
speaking of wedding shoes...DivaBaby19 and any others following my shoe purchases for my wedding dress, dress came in and after trying on the three pairs with it I have decided to go with

anyone have/read the book "eat this not that" ?
2/22/2009 10:12:28 PM
yes, i got it on amazon a month or two ago. i haven't read the whole thing, but i've browsed through most of it. why, you wanna borrow it?
2/22/2009 10:14:01 PM
well I was just going to buy it on walmart b/c it was cheap but i've heard some raves about it so wanted to know if it was worth buying or something i should borrow/check out in a library.
2/22/2009 10:15:54 PM
my mom has been on a kick with that book lately, eating better and exercising is really helping her. The book is a great idea, but it sucks carrying one around to keep track of while eating out and about. I put a list of the fast food items from it in my phone so I ate healthier on a road trip that I went on last month, and it was really handy. I also think porcha has too, but I doubt he checks this thread ]

Can I wear the same plain black suit to the second job interview that I wore to the first?if so, what color shirt should I wear the second time around?
2/22/2009 10:16:32 PM
personally, i would wear a different suit all together...but i think you could get away with wearing a different shirt. what'd you wear the first time?
2/22/2009 10:19:15 PM
you can probably get away with the same one with changing up the shirt/shoes - probably consider a things though - is it a guy or a girl interviewing you or a mixture (will they even remember)? how long ago was the first interview? ]]
2/22/2009 10:22:47 PM

2/24/2009 11:17:50 PM
does anyone know where i can find a navy blue deep v-neck cardigan with 1/2 sleeves? not quite 3/4 length, a little shorter. also, i want the cardigan to be hip length, not super long or baggyi found what i wanted on jcrew's website but they are out of navy.. i might could settle for the color they have avail but i'd really prefer navyim also looking for a neutral (prefer brown) flowing skirt, to the knee or slightly shorterAND a scarf, silk would be nice, with a bright print that can be worn as a short skirt or beltand for the record.. im not planning on wearing any of this together at the same time-- just looking for these pieces!
2/25/2009 1:31:03 AM
Truthfully....try Talbots or Ann Taylor, they often have good staples
2/25/2009 1:47:29 AM

2/26/2009 2:49:27 PM
Seriously, granny panties with black stretchy workout pants? No, really, the underwear line looks great.
2/26/2009 3:00:34 PM
this thread sucks
2/26/2009 3:03:06 PM
^^ i don't really give a shit what people think of me at the gym. usually whatever shirt i'm wearing is long enough to conceal any underwear lines anywaythe gym is for working out. not a fashion show.
