Witten @ Indy or Marcedes @ TennesseeColson @ Cincy or Amendola @ Arizona (return yards are heavily rewarded)

^^^^I think I would go with Garcon, as hard as that is to say. He was targeted I think 7 times last week, so Peyton is trying to get him the ball. Branch would be a good play if they werent playing the Jets defense. Ochocinco is like 1a to me as I think his numbers will be comparable to Garcon's, the Saints defense is decent and TO has been getting the ball so much more than Ocho its hard to trust him. It really is a toss-up between Garcon and Ocho to me.I would start SJax against Arizona. I like Fred Jackson a lot, and think he'll have a good game, but the matchups drive this decision for me. Buf @ Minn is a lot worse than StL @ Arimy turn - pick my 3 WR (we get 0.5ppr and 1pt per 20 receiving/rushing yards and 1pt per 30 return yards)Dez Bryant @ Indy (looks like his very questionable with an ankle injuryPercy Harvin vs. Buf (hes questionable too with migraines)Josh Cribbs @ Miami (oh look, hes questionable too)Brandon Marshall vs. Cle (might not play and hasnt been much of a factor lately)Malcolm Floyd vs Oakall of these guys are questionable right now. I currently am starting Dez, Percy and Cribbs, but could easily swap in Marshall and/or Floyd.one more - pick 2 (non-ppr, 1pt per 10 receiving yards, 1pt per 20 return yards):Percy Harvin vs. BufAnquan Boldin vs. PitSantana Moss @ NYGMalcolm Floyd vs. OakSidney Rice vs. Buf^I would go with Witten and Colston[Edited on December 5, 2010 at 11:01 AM. 12/5/2010 10:56:27 AM
floyd is risky because no one knows for sure how much he will actually play (but VJax is out so that helps). Marshall- well he is Brandon Marshall. Cribbs hasn't done shit for me this year (actually dropped him in one league) so I could start floyd or marshall over him without worry.Tolbert v Oakland (Matthews is back and Tolbert has a hurt hand, but had a full practice on Friday)McFadden v SD (hasn't done shit the last two weeks on the ground, but it is PPR and he has had some good yardage in the air)
12/5/2010 11:03:25 AM
^If your asking, I still think Tolbert vs. Oakland. He is almost always guaranteed at least 1 td.I need to pick 3 to start at WR:Percy HarvinHines WardSidney RiceDeion BranchSteve Smith (CAR)Thoughts?
12/5/2010 11:08:18 AM
return yards count?Reggardless, I like Rice, Ward, and Branch[Edited on December 5, 2010 at 11:13 AM. Reason : j]
12/5/2010 11:11:56 AM
No return yards do not count. Just straight 10 yds = 1 pt receiving, and 6 pts for a receiving TD.
12/5/2010 11:14:34 AM
yeah, in total points for the season, Tolbert is right up there with runDMC, Ray Rice, LT, A. Bradshaw, etc...
12/5/2010 11:15:13 AM
^^^ any reason you like Ward today? I left him out with Big Ben ailling and stingy Bal passD... its him vs. Blair White@Dal
12/5/2010 11:16:45 AM
I honestly like how ward picks it up when he needs to (and I think wallace will take away some pressure), and if Big Ben really is hurt, Batch is a suitable replacement to get it to ward. I also don't like smith and if return yards don't count, Harvin is an iffy play for me (it is like playing hester)Blair White is tough as Peyton hasn't been getting as many completions, and he is like Eli or Brees in that he throws it to whoever he can, no matter if it is his #1 receiver or 3rd string TE. I think he could have a big game, or he could have 1 catch for 15 yards
12/5/2010 11:29:22 AM
I guess you kinda have to have Harvin on your team to fully appreciate him, but he is much better than Hester. Hester is a returner who sometimes makes plays as a WR, Harvin is a WR who sometimes makes plays as a returner.but either way, HARVIN IS OUT THIS WEEKjust saw it listed[Edited on December 5, 2010 at 11:38 AM. Reason : adf]
12/5/2010 11:37:08 AM
I will say, he probably does more for them than Hester, but he is still a return/wr guy IMOI just think that Rice is gonna have his break out week since his return
12/5/2010 11:39:09 AM
Who to start at TE, Gates vs. Oakland or Olsen vs. Detroit?
12/5/2010 11:41:05 AM
^even with one leg healthy, Gates is probly the 2nd or 3rd best TE this week...
12/5/2010 12:16:27 PM
^I'd probably roll with Olsen just in case Gates doesn't play.. even if he does play he might not be as effectiveFred Jackson vs MinorRicky Williams vs Cle?
12/5/2010 12:18:48 PM
Two decisions that will come down heavily to weight of injuries:Floyd or Fitzgerald or Branch?Tolbert or Westbrook or McFadden?[Edited on December 5, 2010 at 12:20 PM. Reason : .]
12/5/2010 12:18:58 PM
Brandon Marshall, Percy Harvin and Austin Collie are all out this week^I'd go Fitzgerald and DMC
12/5/2010 12:22:45 PM
Reggie WayneorChris Ivory (Pierre Thomas is now officially out)
12/5/2010 12:29:09 PM
Reggie Wayne
12/5/2010 12:37:25 PM
Floyd is QS. Moss has high winds to deal withR. Moss is useless at this pointFord is inconsistent I'd prob go with S. Moss and Garcon but that is tough to chooseChoose 1 to startS. Rice (harvin is out)S. Moss vs NYG in bad weatherM. Floyd vs OAK but is Q
12/5/2010 12:51:14 PM
fucking hell Washington, quit leaving Hagan open I need manningham to get some looks
12/5/2010 1:52:08 PM
holy hell, Sidney Rice already has two TDs today. I started him in one league and benched him in another ( have Roddy White, Greg Jennings and Santonio Holmes in that league so I wouldnt have started Rice there anyway)also, midway through the first set of games and I'm already winning 109-30 in one league
12/5/2010 2:08:31 PM
^Yeah, I'm up 112-15 in one league. Of course, I had Arian Foster, Shady McCoy, and DJax go Thursday night. Also have Rodgers and Jennings.
12/5/2010 2:38:31 PM
Pick 1 Defense to startBAL vs PITSTL vs ARISEA vs CARIND vs DAL
12/5/2010 3:11:37 PM
you're killing me here orton85 yds and a fumble
12/5/2010 3:37:38 PM
^^ SEA or STL. Both opposing offenses are bad.
12/5/2010 3:40:16 PM
Which one of those two?I was thinking STL but what do you think?SEA's overall D has more points because of special teams TDs[Edited on December 5, 2010 at 3:53 PM. Reason : .]
12/5/2010 3:51:36 PM
Tampa Bay is also available but they are playing the Falcons...
12/5/2010 3:56:35 PM
Floyd and Tolbert are a go. Floyd should be a good play (assuming he can get a decent workload) with Jackson out, and has definite upside. I'm playing him over Fitzgerald.I may play Tolbert over McFadden just because I feel like he could still have a huge day and my win is pretty much sealed already (going for points).[Edited on December 5, 2010 at 4:00 PM. Reason : .]
12/5/2010 3:58:58 PM
SEA VS CARSTL VS ARI[Edited on December 5, 2010 at 4:00 PM. Reason : PICK 1]Floyd vs OAKR. Rice vs PIT[Edited on December 5, 2010 at 4:02 PM. Reason : pick 1]
12/5/2010 4:00:36 PM
I like STL there.
12/5/2010 4:02:14 PM
STLAnyone looks good against Arizona now. Derek Anderson is even worse than Clausen.
but SEA is at home and STL is at ARIFloyd vs OAKR. Rice vs PIT[Edited on December 5, 2010 at 4:03 PM. Reason : pick 1]
12/5/2010 4:03:06 PM
Am I crazy for playing Chargers defense over Jets?
12/5/2010 4:03:32 PM
no you arent
12/5/2010 4:04:02 PM
Derek Anderson looks very bad in Arizona.Rice if you want reliable. Floyd if you want a chance at a huge day.[Edited on December 5, 2010 at 4:06 PM. Reason : overall I would pick Rice, especially until Floyd proves he is all the way back]
12/5/2010 4:05:35 PM
I'm leaning towards Rice as well but he did terribly against PIT last time they played them.I dont know I just have feeling because of SEA's crowd (12th man or whatever they call it) and Carolina's suckage, SEA has more potential for points[Edited on December 5, 2010 at 4:07 PM. Reason : AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH I CANT DECIDE!!!!!!!!!][Edited on December 5, 2010 at 4:10 PM. Reason : .]
12/5/2010 4:06:59 PM
man you are so indecisive. Either one is a good choice...dont sweat it so much. I think CAR has a better chance at scoring points than ARI. STL actually has a decent defense. There ya go...CAR TD[Edited on December 5, 2010 at 4:22 PM. Reason : TD!]
12/5/2010 4:19:09 PM
I pulled Sidney Rice out of my lineup just an hour before the game started...man I wish I would have slept in longer and not done that
12/5/2010 4:22:00 PM
I'm indecisive because my team is tied with 4 other teams for a playoff spot. So each choice is huge.I went with STL anyhow.Looks like SEA's D is already getting whipped on by Carolina so looks to be a good decision as of right now.
12/5/2010 4:37:47 PM
Orton had 1 point today...lol. And I had Sidney Rice on the bench...may have just ended my playoff hopes.
12/5/2010 4:39:29 PM
Wish I didn't start the Chargers D right now, they got stuck on 2 short fields for 14 points.
12/5/2010 4:40:58 PM
I'm hoping the Chargers run the next one in. I've got Tolbert, but should be OK without the points. However, I'm in a 12 team 3 division league, with the 3 division winners and most overall points (regardless of record) making playoffs. I'm tied with another team in my division for best overall record in the league by 2 games, but they have the head to head tiebreaker on me and a 5-6 team has the most overall points and would likely hold me off if I don't win the division.Essentially I need him to not catch his fantasy opponent so I can win my division outright, and he would end up with the 2nd best record overall and be left out of the playoffs.A Kitna, Mike Williams, or Obamanu touchdown would be well-received.[Edited on December 5, 2010 at 6:52 PM. Reason : Obamanu hurt]
12/5/2010 6:50:03 PM
The team I'm tied with lost, so as long as BenJarvus Green-Ellis finishes with 25 points or less tomorrow vs the Jets I should finish with the best record and #1 seed in my league. If Green-Ellis blows up I don't even make the playoffs.
12/5/2010 11:53:36 PM
Clinched the division and first round bye thanks to starting Lynch today! $75 for me
12/5/2010 11:56:21 PM
In one of my leagues.....Projected game line, me -47, means I should have won by 47. I lost by 30. (My opponent had B.Jacobs (NYG) and the NYG D/ST to be fair... plus Adrian Peterson. Those 3 combined were 70 points. My team... Hillis = 7, Bowe = 0, Marcedes = 3, Rivers = 13, Dan Carpenter = 3.... The last two weeks have been droughts for some of my players, and more than just a single player... I don't get it, no matter how much strategy or knowledge you have there are just weeks that you just have to sit back and laugh.[Edited on December 6, 2010 at 12:14 AM. Reason : .]
12/6/2010 12:13:08 AM
so i have Rivers and Vick.I love me some Rivers, and hes had a great season this year for me......but i can't deny and overlook the fact that Vick has outplayed him and every other QB in the NFL since becoming a starter. Therefore....who do i ride into the playoffs?
12/6/2010 1:42:02 AM
well, i would have gotten first in the regular season if someone would have substituted ANYONE in for percy harvin. pisses me off. oh well. i'm still in the green for getting second
12/6/2010 1:42:29 AM
Vick, durr. Running yards are worth more than passing yards
12/6/2010 2:35:02 AM
Is peyton going to be average for the rest of the year? I'm contemplating picking up a new qb for the post season. Haha and again I made the wrong call between tolbert and rundmc and lost because of it [Edited on December 6, 2010 at 8:01 AM. Reason : stupid autocorrect]
12/6/2010 8:00:42 AM
Down 90 - 86 against Slave Famous. He is done and I still have Dustin Keller going tonight. Is a tie imminent?
