brek shea...i am now a fan
8/10/2011 10:55:37 PM
Yea two subs for two players that were doing nothing
8/10/2011 10:56:29 PM
lol, this ref sucks... that is a clear red
8/10/2011 10:58:44 PM
get the fuck out of here ref. fucking clear red card.
8/10/2011 10:58:46 PM
get him off the pitch
8/10/2011 10:59:23 PM
they already missed two questionable penalty kicks. especially the one on landon.
8/10/2011 10:59:58 PM
that is fucking awful decision, what is it about CONCACAF Refs they all suck
8/10/2011 11:00:19 PM
8/10/2011 11:02:06 PM
totally a red-card. i don't think anyone was expecting a yellow
8/10/2011 11:02:11 PM
What bullshit, I dont even watch soccer much, but there was 1 obvious pk missed call and that terrible yellow card. The dude would have scored.
8/10/2011 11:02:12 PM
ricardo clark should never dress up for the US again. god, he's so terrible.
8/10/2011 11:03:37 PM
lol @ that pass from clark
8/10/2011 11:04:54 PM
just one of these shots on frame and it's a W
8/10/2011 11:05:18 PM
8/10/2011 11:07:52 PM
Not a bad performance in the second half.My untrained eye really likes Agudelo and especially his age. What are his long-term prospects? You'd think he'd get a look in Europe very soon.
8/10/2011 11:08:07 PM
aha nice interview
8/10/2011 11:09:40 PM
8/10/2011 11:10:14 PM
it's good to have a coach who sounds like he has seen a soccer ball before
8/10/2011 11:11:28 PM
I don't know how somebody could dislike Klinsmann after watching that interview and seeing his goal celebration
8/10/2011 11:15:45 PM
Gotta love Klinsmann. Positive and upbeat, actually smiles and gets excited about the game. He's been there and knows what it's like to score goals and win games as a player. The US has needed someone like him to move the program forward.
8/10/2011 11:17:40 PM
Didn't even want to watch the second half after that pitiful first half. But damn, what a turnaround. Brek Shea was especially impressive.

8/10/2011 11:29:16 PM
Soccer would be a much more entertaining sport to watch if it didn't seem that the referees were always so fucking terrible.[Edited on August 10, 2011 at 11:42 PM. Reason : And the sad thing is the sport seems to pride itself on the fact]
8/10/2011 11:41:15 PM
I liked seeing Beckerman return, he brings good size to the midfield. Glad to see he still rocks the dreads too
8/11/2011 12:12:19 AM
8/11/2011 6:42:13 AM
I like the height and speed from Shea. He could be the big time finisher that we've been looking for in, oh, I don't know...FOREVER!!
8/11/2011 9:02:37 AM
He's got a Ronaldo-esque style to his play.It would be awesome if he could fill that wing position because it would let Dempsey move up top full time and solve part of our striker problem.
8/11/2011 9:16:18 AM
i don't follow closely, did i hear the announcer say that shea is somewhat of a party boy?
8/11/2011 9:31:44 AM
I'm not sure. I did hear them talk about how Dos Santos likes to party and could be why he hasn't really worked out at Spurs so that might have been what you heard
8/11/2011 9:57:19 AM
^yeah, maybe that's who they were talking about. it was when shea was handling the ball, soon after he was subbed in.
8/11/2011 10:15:45 AM
Just got around to seeing highlights... How was there no red on that foul on Rogers?/old
8/11/2011 8:39:01 PM
^Yeah that did suck, but I think it was the second defender being there that prevented the red card. Not that he would have cut him off in time to prevent a shot.[Edited on August 11, 2011 at 9:19 PM. Reason : .]

Has anyone noticed Altidore has 5 goals in four games for AZ?[Edited on August 25, 2011 at 8:26 PM. Reason : no george john again]
8/25/2011 8:24:30 PM
yep, Dutch league is the perfect place for a young striker to get some confidence. I've seen videos of all of them and he's not scoring golazos or anything but goals are goals.I was disappointed with no John too but he just moved to a new team and it'd probably be better for him to have as much time as possible to acclimate himself. I don't get why Larentowicz is necessary with Beckerman on the roster, they're the same player. Also I don't see what he sees in Castillo but whatever. Supposedly that Fabian Johnson is a huge get for us - he's been playing with German youth teams. I don't know much about him though.
8/25/2011 8:34:38 PM
I didn't even notice him on the roster. Don't know much about him but he played for all the youth German international teams from the looks of it...
