lol

batteries are best for me cause i got a digital camera, tv remotes, xbox media remote and such

so that energizer kit and 8 batteries were cheaper than 4 play n charge kits, and a helluva lot more practical

i've got a rechargeable battery kit like that as well but i've also had my 360 for like 2 years...and oh yeah you cant charge those batteries while you are using your controller

your digital camera doesnt have a batter pack?

the point of a wireless controller is for it not to be wired, so the play and charge defeats that purpose

and it obviously dosen't cause i said i have batteries for it

i mean its not a big deal really, i always have 4 batteries charging/charged and i've had the same kit since I got my xbox at launch

honestly most of the time i probably have 2 people playing and the other 2 charging...if one goes dead, just pop in another battery

as far as cost...well i bought all those probably a year and a half ago so no cost nowadays

my logitech harmony xbox remote's AAA's just died though

i have play and charge...only use the cable to play when both my batteries are dead...just plug it in when done or every now and then, not really a big deal

as long as people arent running through pack after pack of NON-rechargable batteries, there are multiple good options

You just create a new Live gamercard. It gets the 30 day trial automagically.

am i the only one tha knows about the charge kits that aren't play and charge? When you are done playing, remove the battery pack and place it in the dual battery pack charge stand....

red light = charging
green light = charged

i've never once had my batteries run low because of it. no wires, no play and charge and no removing 2 AA batteries

well the only thing i have in my house that would use AA batteries or batteries at all is the xbox battery packs....so it was better for me to buy the xbox recharge kit (stand-up) then to buy rechargable batteries from Energizer. My Harmony 880 remote has its own cradle to charge in, so now so does the xbox controllers =)

maybe more convenient as far as replacing them, but batteries would have been cheaper most likely and function just as well.

A lot of stores got Bioshock about a week earlier than the street date. Some of those stores sold them a little too early, so some ppl already have Bioshock.

So what are the best Downloadable 360 arcade games?

I downloaded classics like galaga, frogger, track & field, and some others. I am excited the Super Puzzle Fighter is going to be available soon. Recently I have gotten into playing Carccasonne with some friends.

^Heavy Weapon is a pretty cool game with up to 4 players co-op

the great thing about 360 though is you can pretty much download the trial versions of any of the games to see for yourself if you like them or not

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is the absolute best XBLA game. There are other games like Alien Hominid, Catan, Prince of Persia, Geometry Wars, Assault Heroes, and many more.

I have nine XBLA games, and they are all good. I want to eventually get games like Carcassonne, Streets of Rage 2, Super Puzzle Fighter 2, and Prince of Persia. Wish list right now. Maybe Hexic 2, but I have the original Hexic already.

You won't get Bioshock early like this, but you can get the Madden 50% off special online.

I'm about to order Madden and Bioshock myself.

as far as I know, there has been no gameplay footage of the flamethrower

I really wish we could see some videos of the people testing it right now, but i'm sure they've signed 12 non-disclosure agreements, and would have to give up their first born if they do show anything

plus

review of blue dragon:

Quote :
"But is this all-star cast enough to finally give Microsoft's Xbox 360 an answer to Final Fantasy? Unfortunately, it looks like the wait continues.

While Blue Dragon is by no means a bad game, it fails to reach the lofty expectations that have been placed on it. "

http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/812/812365p1.html

still got a 7.9/10

Nickel and diming ya folks:

From IGN AU interview with Halo 3 multiplayer creator:
http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/813/813743p2.html
Quote :
"IGN AU: Cool. What are the limits for what players can store on your servers?

Lars Bakken: Each person, by default, out of the gate, has 6 slots and 25MB of space, but there's something called Bungie Pro, which, I don't know what the final pricing is going to be, I think that's still to be decided, but that gives you 24 slots and 250MB, so it basically gives you ten times as much space. "

heaven forbid they just give something to gamers after spending at least $60 for normal edition of game

^^ i am pretty sure that they have the system set up whereas 25mb will not be enough for the typical halo fan

Ok, so I've had my 360 for about 3 months now and have been getting a nice gamerscore. Now that I'm back on campus I am just starting Live for the first time and it keeps wanting to give me a brand new profile because the name I've been using is taken. So is there any way to transfer my achievments and score to a New Online ID. Or do I have to start from scratch? Is there a way to change my offline ID to something not used online and that way all my stuff will carry over to my Live profile?

I've never used Xbox Live before btw.

I've heard a lot of good things about Live, but if you can't use your offline-profile online then this is kind of lame.

Any help is appreciated.

gotta keep the same name, and since you can't and you want to keep your gamerscore, you change your current name, it'll run you 500 marketplace points ($5)

or just start over, as your gamerscore isnt really worth shit

well how would I pay to change the name then? In order to get to the marketplace I would need to join xbox live with that account, AND that is the problem. I can't join LIVE with that account, it forces me to create a whole new profile.

Call up support at 1-800-4-MYXBOX

They'll fix this for you.

As a general rule, always create a Live profile for the 360.

well I don't have internet access at home and got my 360 over the summer. So that wouldn't have been possible.

Oh well, its no big deal to have one profile for online and one for offline. Thanks guys.
