^^ugh.. i need to do some more research on the sims game.. not being a big fan of the japanese cartoon style, it doesn't really appeal to me right off the bat.

it doesn't mean i won't give it a chance, but it better have some sweet gameplay (hopefully including online of some sort) for me to buy it

If you're porting a game to a console 2 generations later it's a valid question to ask if there was any significant graphical improvements. Perhaps sharper graphics on a fun game make it worth the $10.

reportedly the game is easy to play using either a Classic Controller or Gamecube controller. The resolution has been bumped up to 480p, but that's it for graphic enhancements.

I think Nintendo doesn't really focus on that big graphics jump anymore, so I don't see the point of a graphics questions when it comes to the Wii. For all Xbox and PS3 commercials, they are focued on how real the games look, and the amazing graphics. Every Wii commercial you see, there are more shots of the people playing then the actual games themselves.

If you're buying a Wii for updated graphics, you're buying it for the wrong reason.

If I get one, I know the first games i'll get are probably rayman, wario, and wii play. I just want to flail around with a bunch of mini games with a few other people, I don't care if I can see a mole on the back of link's neck while he's trying to shoot an arrow

I just read some stuff on it in this issue of Nintendo Power. yes i subscribe. it came with a free Twilight Priness Guide!

Anyway MySims will have to have excellent online play and be something larger than Animal Crossing Deux to make me purchase it. Otherwise it seems to "kiddish" mainly b/c of the graphics. Yes I suck. I know.

Speaking of which, people need to put reviews of SSX Blur up when they play it!

I just learned that the SD card is for backup only, and that you can't actively use saves that are only on the SD card. I don't really have too much of a problem with this, as it seems 512mb will be enough for quite some time.

Has anyone heard of a way to backup all saves without having to manually copy each one? Since I've got so much extra room on my SD card (2gb) I wouldn't mind doing periodic total system backups just to make sure I don't lose anything, but going through and copying each one individually is too much work.

please stop making Jesus, I have seen several versions of Him and I have 3 or 4 in my Mii Parade, for some reason whenever someone gets a Wii they feel the need to make a Jesus Mii and it's old now...it is also messing me up on the Mii Finding game on WiiPlay because I keep matching up the wrong Jesus'

I think i got up to 139 Miis in the Parade last week. I mean holy crap people!

I hope Nintendo gets to work on making its online capability work with some sort of realtime interactive Mii Chat/Plaza. I mean MySims *may* lay some groundwork, since that would make sense. However whats the point, in the end of the Mii Parade, if you cannot do anything but watch them walk by?

So the batteries in my wiimote just kinda died on their own. It was very odd, the last time I checked they were both full and then I don't play the thing for about 2 days and the next time I go turn it on, one of them is completely dead and the other only stays on for about 15 seconds. Is there some issue with wiimotes draining batteries while the wii is on standby or something?

I just read the IGN SSX review, and i couldn't shake the feeling like they were trying to tell me if i wasn't good at this game, then i'm not a true gamer.. (are you a bad enough dude to play SSX Blur?)

Seems like a cheap way to avoid any criticism... If someone says the game sucks, they can just say "well you're not a real gamer" and go back to counting their EA money.

I'm probably just gonna wait a couple of months to pick this one up cheap and try it out for myself.
