Who should start?J. CharlesD. McFaddenM. TolbertI am leaning towards Charles and Tolbert.
11/28/2010 3:11:42 PM
^I'd go Tolbert. He was a monster last week and Indy's run D blows. I've got Tolbert going in one of my leagues today as well. What would you guys do at TE in this situation:I've got Zach Miller and Antonio Gates on my roster. Gates is questionable and plays at 8 tonight. Miller plays at 4. Would you guys just go with Miller at 4:00 or pick up Randy McMichael and play him if Gates sits?

I am going to miss the playoffs in a league where I have the most points and I am a close favorite to win the whole damn thing... FML
11/28/2010 4:56:41 PM
I am in a tie for 3rd in my league and have the 2nd most points by a large margin. I also have had the most points scored against me by a large margin .I am playing the 10-1 league leader this week. He is currently winning (once again, a player playing against me goes off for ridiculous numbers THANKS PEYTON HILLIS), but I still have 3 players to play this week (+2 playing right now) and his last 3 are playing currently. I feel confident about winning this week, but Hillis' crazy good game is making it way too close.
11/28/2010 5:23:08 PM
^in my league the top 4 playoff spots go to the best win/loss records, but spots 5-7 go to the best remaining breakdown record. the breakdown record is what your record would be if you played every team in the league each week. 14 team league. i like it, it keeps you from getting screwed like that.
11/28/2010 5:24:03 PM
Playing against Dwayne Bowe Also, McCoy gets hurt in the redzone and Jackson sucks balls in the red zone. Awesome...
11/28/2010 5:26:44 PM
I knew my chances were slim this week. Going up against Hillis at Carolina and Gore at Arizona. FML
11/28/2010 5:52:38 PM
Are you fucking kidding me, Kenneth Darby?Fuck Steven Jackson.
11/28/2010 6:19:17 PM
(sad trombone)
11/28/2010 6:20:07 PM
anyone else's leagues show flacco with a 3rd TD to Ray Rice with 5:08 left in the 3td Qtr? I think ESPN just hallucinated...
11/28/2010 6:33:42 PM
11/28/2010 6:49:25 PM
Post in here if you hear word on Floyd. I'm thinking of sitting Floyd for Fitzgerald now even if he is cleared. SF is reeling, and I have Tamme, Tolbert, and Floyd OR Fitzgerald to overcome a 28 point deficit + Philip Rivers.
11/28/2010 7:23:49 PM
i've got a 34 point lead against fitz/wayne, and i still have 1 to play.so my question is:floyd or garcon?floyd if he's healthy but there's still no word, garcon just has too many drops.
11/28/2010 7:28:51 PM
garcon is awful.
11/28/2010 7:30:03 PM
dont even think about starting Garcon... have you not been watching football???

11/28/2010 7:35:12 PM
This will be the first time I've never made the playoffs in any fantasy sport (at least that I can remember). And it appears I'll be missing the playoffs in both of my leagues. Damn.
11/28/2010 7:35:44 PM
any chance Peyton can get me 60 points tonight? i'm trailing DROD900 by 11 and he still has Gore and Tamme
11/28/2010 7:37:44 PM
With Jackson, Nannee, and Gates all active I think I'll bench a hobbled Floyd for Fitzgerald against the Niners.
11/28/2010 7:59:50 PM
Mike Tolbert, my RB2, has already eclipsed Chris Johnson's (my RB1) impressive 1.70 point performance from earlier today.
11/28/2010 8:49:05 PM
Is Vincent Jackson playing?
11/28/2010 9:15:20 PM
^Left with a calf injury.
11/28/2010 9:25:44 PM
sonofabitch
11/28/2010 9:33:46 PM
should've started garcon, but wayne is doing nothing so that's good
11/28/2010 10:29:41 PM
do any of you who also own adam vinatieri? any reason to keep him?.... because he has been seriously under-performing this year
11/28/2010 11:22:13 PM
Well I did earlier, he's been kinda hit or miss, now that everyone knows IND can't run, they haven't scored as much. I now own Matt Bryant and Dan Carpenter in my leagues. I also picked up Shayne Graham. Nate Kaeding would be a good pickup if he's still available now that he's come back from injury.I had a terrible week in my pay league this week. Rivers = 7, Steven Jackson = 7, Terrell Owens =1, my opponent had Tom Brady = 29 and Todd Heap = 13... It was either Terrell Owens or VJax, and Vincent went out with an injury so goose egg there. Won the other 4 leagues where I was playing the next best teams so don't feel too bad.[Edited on November 29, 2010 at 12:07 PM. Reason : .]
11/29/2010 12:06:53 PM
On the upside, I'll now be #1 in all of my 5 leagues
11/29/2010 1:25:02 PM
oh god what happened to frank gore
11/29/2010 8:58:54 PM
I needed 10 points out of Gore to win.
11/29/2010 9:01:47 PM
awesome. opponent played Gore and V. Jackson. i still have a chance
11/29/2010 10:10:00 PM
11/30/2010 8:07:25 AM
Frank Gore just shit the bed for me. I won my game, and made it to the playoffs, but I'm fucked in my first round match. I've got waiver claims in for 1) Westbrook; and alternatively for 2) Ivory; 3) Dixon; 4) GerhartOur league's waiver wire is all fucked up...I'm in 2nd in the league, which means I get the 11th pick in the rotation, and we have a bunch of assholes who like to snap up anything positive from the wire each week, even if they don't need the player.
11/30/2010 9:34:24 AM
So which 49ers RB would you pick up for the rest of the season, Dixon or Westbrook?
11/30/2010 9:44:09 AM
^My thinking is that, as injury prone as Westbrook is, they'll try to limit his carries and get something like a 60/40 split on carries, unless he's going the fuck off...
11/30/2010 9:50:41 AM
Well Gerhart looks injured and may be out and Adrian Peterson looks to come back yet this season.Gore is out, so Westbrook would be the top pick. I really doubt they'll give much to Dixon. Ivory is a questionable pick too. Granted he's the NO goaline back, but with Reggie Bush and Pierre Thomas getting healthy again, it may not last long.^^^That's a good priority order[Edited on November 30, 2010 at 11:21 AM. 11/30/2010 11:20:17 AM
^ ThanksIf I can manage to survive this week, I think the pressure will ease a bit. My team would uniformly have better game match ups...here's to hoping.
11/30/2010 11:45:19 AM
Miami's D/ST vs Cleveland (assuming Delhomme starts again)orSeattle's D/ST vs Carolina
11/30/2010 5:41:36 PM
Flacco, Bradford, or Sanchez this week? I'm leaning toward sanchez with the matchup, but worried about the jets just wanting to stick with the run. Flacco is a rough matchup but looking good the last few games. no idea what to think about bradford, randomly picked him up 2 weeks ago on waivers...
11/30/2010 9:15:59 PM
^^ Miami I think^ I would probably play Sanchez, with Bradford being a close second.Pick 3: (Current Starters in Bold)BJGE vs NYJRunDMC @SDWestbrook @GBTurner @TBMoreno @KC
11/30/2010 9:56:37 PM
I'm thinking of using my #1 waiver priority on Westbrook and dropping Collie, McCluster, Brown, or Blair White. I'm locked for playoffs and next week probably determines my seed. Actually I don't have a spot clinched, but some whacky shit would have to happen to lose it I think. Thoughts?[Edited on December 1, 2010 at 12:45 AM. Reason : ]
12/1/2010 12:41:55 AM
If you need a RB, I say go for it. I don't know that you are going to get a better pick at this point in the season. SF's passing game is nonexistent, so I think he has alot of upside. I'd be a little worried about Dixon stealing carries, but I think as long as Westbrook is playing well, they'll use him to full advantage.Personally, I would hold on to Collie and Blair White. Neither McCluster or Brown are going to put up alot of points. You've seen what they've done all season. They'll put up average or slightly below average fantasy pts, and there will be little to no upside.
12/1/2010 8:35:09 AM
I just set my lineup and will not be looking at it again until after the 1oclock games have started... I'm tired of second guessing myself and losing games because of it. Not starting Tolbert or Jacoby Ford last week killed me, especially since jacoby jones, sidney rice, steven jackson, and RunDMC all sucked it up... fuuuuuuuu
12/1/2010 9:43:09 AM
Need advice on which guys to play this weekend:Brandon Jackson @ SF orChris Ivory @ CINAlso, which WR's to play (up to 3)Roddy White @ TAMPAJeremy Maclin @ HoustonSantonio Holmes @ NEAndre Johnson @ PHI
12/1/2010 10:38:29 AM
^ I would go Jackson, Johnson, White, and Holmes.I wish I had your WR problem....I need to pick 3 of :Percy HarvinHines WardSteve Smith panther versionRandy MossDeion BranchBen Obamanu or Mike Williams (whomever is Seattle's #1 WRThoughts?[Edited on December 1, 2010 at 12:56 PM. Reason : .]
12/1/2010 12:55:13 PM
^I'd probably go Ward, Harvin, and Branch. No way I'd start Smith.Keiland Williams or Marshawn Lynch at RB2?And Pick 3 of these of WRs:Calvin Johnson, Mario Manningham, Mike Williams (SEA), Sidney RiceCalvin Johnson and Manningham are locks...its basically between Rice or Williams (SEA) [Edited on December 1, 2010 at 3:24 PM. Reason : g]
12/1/2010 3:20:55 PM
^Keiland Williams and Williams (SEA), until I see Sidney Rice play up to the hype, I'm just not sure I can start him, he's only been targeted a total of 4 times in the last 2 games, but they were decent defenses, whereas he could have a big game against Buffalo, but just not sure. *** BUT CHECK INJURY REPORT, as Mike Williams is a game-time decision at 4:15... You may have to play Rice just as a safety measure.Struggling in this decision this week:Pick 1:Brian WestbrookBenJarvus Green-Ellisor pick up Ivory or Goodson-------Pick 3:Wes Welker Reggie WayneMalcolm FloydLance Mooreor pickup Nate Washington (now that Collins is back)I am not sure I like playing both Green-Ellis & Welker against the Jets good D, but not sure I have any better options.[Edited on December 1, 2010 at 4:28 PM. 12/1/2010 4:22:35 PM
Which QB should I start this week?Tom Brady (vs. NYJ)or Kyle Orton (@KC)Thanks for the help.
12/1/2010 4:54:43 PM
^^ Tough ones. I'm cautious about starting Floyd this week, but I'll probably do it anyways since V. Jackson is out. I can't say I like Lance Moore or Nate Washington any better than him.^ I go with Orton. Brady will probably be fine, but I'd be afraid of a low scoring game with the Jets D.[Edited on December 1, 2010 at 5:03 PM. Reason : :]
12/1/2010 5:01:08 PM
WR / RB Flex - Choose 1:Mendenhall vs BALS. Johnson vs MINBraylon vs NEMaclin vs HOUGoodson vs SEA
12/2/2010 8:04:01 AM
^I'd definitely go with Mendenhall. He's a beast and he's matchup-proof, IMO.Should I trade LeSean McCoy straight-up for Darren McFadden? The only reason I'm considering it is that I've clinched a bye in the first round of the fantasy playoffs, so my next meaningful game isn't until Week 15, when DMC plays the 31st-ranked Broncos run D and then the 22nd-ranked Colts run D in Week 16. Shady goes up against the 11th-ranked Giants run D in Week 15 and the 4th-ranked Vikings run D in Week 16. So, DMC has much better matchups when it matters. What do you guys think?
