Some days I feel awesome working out and feel like I get something done.... today was not one of those days. I felt like crap this morning working out legs. My legs are shaky so I guess I got something done, my head just wasn't in it.

i've been exercising without a real set plan, rather I just listen to my body...if i don't feel like doing legs/etc I either don't go or train a different muscle group...never enter the gym thinking you're weaker/vulnerable or you will be weaker and vulnerable.

I've adopted that method as well. If you're not going to be fully into the workout that day, feeling weak or tired, more often than not you won't get a lot done and you'll perform pretty miserably. Sometimes its been to the point where I drift out of it/daydream between sets, and when I snap back to it I realize I'm just too out of it to continue with any real gains and I just leave.Sometimes you do have to flat out force yourself to the gym, but there's a point where in my opinion its not worth it.

I went in there ready to push some weight but after doing squats I just felt weaker than usual. My foot started to hurt so I didn't want to over do anything. I made up for it on the leg press though.

I apparently dropped 4 pounds pretty suddenly at the end of last week. I usually lose weight in chunks, but never that big (because at 110, that's a lot). Plus I can't entirely figure out why, as I hadn't changed much about my diet or exercise (and am done with Insanity so it wasn't thanks to that). And I was averaging eating pretty close to maintenance level. I was starting to really think my scale needed new batteries. But it seems to be legit. I'll take it. And I know I haven't posted progress pictures in a while so I'll take some tonight.

help me with my (vegetarian) diet! i need to gain atleast 10-15lbs before oct. right now, i dont eat regularly, sometimes i skip breakfast (if i wake up late...which is most days), sometimes i skip dinner(i am too tired and go to bed early)

I pushed myself really hard at the gym yesterday, got a good night's sleep and today I feel physically exhausted. Additionally my arms, chest, and shoulders are sore today.what a great feeling!

I have severely cut back on eating of junk food and the visual queues are motivation enough to not do it so muchi just have a cheat meal once or twice a weekmy metabolism is in overdrive now

Wine is my cheat. I have to be careful about nutrition because I'm getting to the age where I'm noticing changes in my skin and hair ... so vitamins and nutrients make a huge difference.You can be skinny and eat garbage ... but your body will suffer for it.

Been using these:http://www.beverlyinternational.com/Found them at wholesale price. I really don't like all the advertising all the other big name companies do. Anyway I realized I wasn't getting enough protein because i'm not a huge meat/egg eater and I was struggling to get 100+ a day. Haven't tried too many other brands but the vanilla is great with smoothies.

I generally stick to 0.7-0.75g of protein per lb of body weight per day. You'll probably get other people to say more than that but from experience and the stuff I've read that has been the sweet spot for me.I'll post a quote from a Men's Fitness article (it was easy to get to since I have posted it on here before):
