1/25/2009 10:18:51 PM
I think this one is SO cute and might get it if the top has a strap version.
1/25/2009 11:03:04 PM
^ahhh love the bottoms.
1/26/2009 9:38:04 AM
Keep or return? I got this in my size at Target for $17.49. Would it be acceptable to wear to a wedding?https://www.target.com/Target-Limited-Cowl-Dress-Scarlet/dp/B001FS9NDG
1/27/2009 9:23:18 PM
for the price, keep. that's awesome.for a wedding, it would depend on how you accessorize, how formal the wedding is, etc. the polyester sort of casual-izes it, so that's why it depends on accessories and such.
1/27/2009 9:24:51 PM
I'd say yes if the wedding is in the next 2 months.
1/27/2009 9:25:16 PM
Poop, the wedding craziness is probably going to be in the summer. BF's cousins and friends have been getting married like crazy. Thought I could get away with it during the summer with a white purse and shoes
1/27/2009 9:28:50 PM
maybe an evening wedding with black shoes...but not for a summer wedding and i'm sure you'll find another dress.
1/27/2009 9:29:44 PM
i'm sure you can. totally.people can "get away" with much more than they think they can.its all about presentation. (well mostly.... dont show up in jeans or anything )
1/27/2009 9:31:18 PM
um...no white shoes. ever. with that dress. silver or gold shoes, yes.sorry, but with a color that rich, you really can't pair white with it. you might be able to throw a pale colored wrap with it to summer it up, but i'm not sure.
1/27/2009 9:31:52 PM
i bet an off white would look ok.or taupe.....yes......
1/27/2009 9:39:44 PM
Ok, silver or gold shoes. bright colored wrap. If that doesn't work, blame my lack of fashion sense on being an engineer. I hate shopping for dresses, I find one that fits and then people have to deal with it, generally.
1/27/2009 9:39:54 PM
Oooh gold, absolutely
1/27/2009 9:41:20 PM
i'm sure youll be fine!!!
1/27/2009 9:42:00 PM
metallics are always a good choice. and they totally work with everything!
1/27/2009 9:43:12 PM
um...double post, but i wanted a separate post to ask this question.so, since i have super-short hair and it's cold out there (and even colder in ny, where i'm probably moving), i need/want to start wearing hats. but the few hats i've tried leave my hair in a frizz/flyaway mess. not to mention the hat head.do any ladies have suggestions on hat styles that are warm but not so frizz-inducing? the only style i've tried is the snugger fitting toboggan style.
1/27/2009 9:52:02 PM
jacket with a hood?
1/27/2009 9:57:02 PM
um, except i'd prefer to buy a few hats versus a whole new coat.
1/27/2009 10:00:46 PM
yikes. thats a hard one.
1/27/2009 10:07:19 PM
^^ I read that really quickly and saw fur hats and was like WTF!?!haha.
1/27/2009 10:07:52 PM
lol, no, no fur, thanks.yeah, i have no idea what hats are gonna be warmest, or if i should just get ear warmers and maybe a less close-fitting hat that will at least cover my head and reduce the cold. i have no clue...
1/27/2009 10:12:59 PM
ahhhh ear warmers are absolutely adorable![Edited on January 27, 2009 at 10:13 PM. Reason : yu]

1/30/2009 12:24:15 PM
Just got these.I don't think they'll work with anything other than jeans/pants though.
1/30/2009 1:57:04 PM
or anything at all
1/30/2009 1:59:12 PM
those shoes are hideous
1/30/2009 2:00:19 PM
It's so rare for me to find heels I can wear for more than 5 minutes without being in excruciating painSo when I do I just roll with it
1/30/2009 2:01:36 PM
dudefucking Naturalizer has better looking shoes that feel good all day
1/30/2009 2:03:21 PM
they look like witches shoes. maybe they would go well with some like, green and white striped stockings.
1/30/2009 2:04:41 PM
I'll agree with your point about NaturalizersBut I have yet to find a pair of those that actually fit me.
1/30/2009 2:07:11 PM
Just got back from a shopping trip. Ann Taylor Loft has an additional 50% off of all their sales clothes. JCrew is 50% off of sale (they're only advertising 30% online) and an additional 15% off for students. Banana Republic is 30% off their sales right now, but starting on the 1st, it's 50% off their sales.
1/30/2009 3:48:50 PM

1/31/2009 8:49:30 PM
glad to see you are a ladya fat ugly one at that.
1/31/2009 8:51:01 PM
That's not very ladylike.
1/31/2009 8:52:20 PM
4^ Maybe it's just me, but nothing about that top makes me want to have it. Even if I did have the chest to fill it out. That style in general is not attractive to me whatsoever.]
