ok, this is fucking hilarious.Don't you like how the 8.6% at the end is higher than 8.8%Fox News logic8.8 < 8.6 if it looks bad for ObamaIn fact, 8.6 is kind of close to 9.0. But can we really blame the chartmaker? I mean, what do you want him to do, use a computer to plot data or something?
12/13/2011 1:33:47 AM
Even Fox News' computers are dumb.

Sneak peek of the latest graph from Fox, to appear tonight:
12/13/2011 1:45:13 PM
i guess if you are retarded enough not to notice that and read the actual numbers and look past the programmatic error, then you were probably dumb enough to think the lines going down was bad in the first placeOh cool i got a graphic that MSNBC utterly refuses to ever put on their website:[Edited on December 13, 2011 at 1:51 PM. LMAO yeah Fox News just happened to mess up on a single data point, coincidentally affecting the chart in a way that downplays any possible good news for the Obama admin. Total coincidence, unrelated from the thousands of even more egregious distortions if not entirely counterfactual things they throw up.BTW MSNBC has mentioned the U5 and U6 rates, mostly in commentary, and the BLS publishes those regularly. Fox mentions it about as often too. Most officials and the media use the U3 because the data its derived from is very reliable (compared to, say, estimating the number of discouraged workers from polling data) and comes out monthly.[Edited on December 13, 2011 at 1:54 PM. anyone hating on fox news needs to slow their rollyes, there is conservative spin on that networkbut it balances out to the 1000000 programs with liberal spinMSNBC is the fucking WORST, ed schultz can die in a fire, so can the execs at that "news" network that allow that drivel on the airI really wish there could be a news source that was 100% free of spin...doesn't anyone care about presenting the actual facts?

2 key points here from MSNBC gentlemen.#1) The recession ended in 2009 and we are experiencing phenomenal market growth thanks to president obama.#2) And the economy is adding hundreds of thousands of jobs every month. LOL[Edited on December 13, 2011 at 2:05 PM. Reason : ,]

#1) The recession did end 2009. I know you don't know much about these things, but in economics "recession" actually has a specific meaning, not just "times are sucky." Yes, times are still sucky, but the recession did indeed end in 2009. #2) Actually, yes, the economy is adding hundreds of thousands of jobs, there's just a little bit of a hole to dig ourselves out of

You said "since 2000" and only now bring up 2011 since the two we've shown you don't go past 2010. You could at least go back and edit your original post like the pathetic snake you are.edit: NVM, the video I linked from msnbc's site shows all the way up until 2011. Still waiting for that one million dollars you now owe me.

Maybe they were trying to show, oh I don't know, the crippling recession we had just endured in graphical form.
12/13/2011 2:29:45 PM
How DARE they show the massive recession at the end of Bush's term without also showing the 2 or 3 years of mediocre job growth that came before it
12/13/2011 2:31:26 PM
the non farm graph shows till the end of the year 2008. that's not when it 'started to get hairy', thats literally weeks before it bottomed out just so you know. it's just how that graph happened to end on that year. just for your information so you aren't illiterate anymore and continue to spew your anti right wing, pro left wing propaganda nonstop for hours at a time every day. just so you know and are informed and can make a more informed decision for yourself.
12/13/2011 2:35:00 PM
I'll link it a second time. You graph stops when the job loss is about -300kFor posterity:
12/13/2011 2:35:50 PM
hey i know you like to spew anti right wing propaganda nonstop but there literally is nothing to read-into from that graphit literally just happens to end at the 2008/2009 year end/beginning mark. that's it but i know you really really really really badly want to make it seem like i was trying to do the opposite of your "Dec 08' -> obama has saved the world" graphs
12/13/2011 2:39:01 PM
It ends about 3/4 of the way through 2008. In other words, it stopped before the worst quarter of all. I wonder why you chose that graph? Did you think it would give us perspective? [Edited on December 13, 2011 at 2:41 PM. Reason : .]
12/13/2011 2:40:14 PM
Hey, I'm trying to be as fair to your comments as possible, but are you trying to say the obama stimulus package of 2009 has worked and has permanently put us on a permanently recession-proof trajectory? Is that what you are trying to tell us?

George W. Bush dropped a tv set from the top of a 50 story building, and left office right around the time it was at the 20th floor. Obama took office, ran to the bottom of the building, and started carrying the TV up. Now, conservatives are waiting for him at the 15th floor saying "The TV's even lower than when you took office! Also some of the channels don't work any more!"
12/13/2011 2:48:53 PM
my god. yep bush forced the banks to give those trillions in toxic loans to people who couldn't afford a fucking mcdonalds sandwich. yep it was 100% the executive branch of the government thats responsible for this. and in particular bush. probably because he has a cousin in the OIL industry right? or maybe because he's just an old white guy fart. Yeh it's def his fault.

^^^see this is why i'm convinced they don't even use a real graphing program to make their charts like excel or something similar. like somebody is hand drawing all of them or making web pages or something from html and just fucked up a link in this case or just copy pastad the wrong #'s into the "y graph value" and "line graph height" fieldsthat's just absurdly random. either way they need to get some damn QA on that shit. embarrassing
12/14/2011 10:53:05 PM
^ Note how the two "mistakes" we are discussing:- make it look like unemployment under Obama is higher than it really is- replaced Romney's face with ObamaDo these "mistakes" not suspiciously fit the editorial position of Fox News?Ok, bias.
12/14/2011 11:21:54 PM
^5That just cost Romney an untold number of votes. Definitely intentional and quite a clever move worth the payoff. It makes me curious though. Anyone have any examples of actual subliminal advertising on FNC?
