11/15/2005 1:21:30 AM
100/200 on what site?
11/15/2005 1:25:20 AM
Thats nothing, you should go watch the 300/600 on Ultimate Bet. Ive seen people with $120,000+ stacks sitting at that table before. And the average at that table is around $30k
11/15/2005 1:27:29 AM

11/15/2005 3:35:43 PM
nah the 200 isnt an issue, but i was thinking maybe selling it and playing in a live tournament in vegas next month when i go, its up in the air.Just thinking of seeing Lee Jones say "Congradulations pilgrimshoes, you played well, here's 138,915.78"Well, you know. How about Homaha?j/k
11/15/2005 4:26:17 PM

11/15/2005 5:02:27 PM
Jesus fucking Christ. How lucky can that god damn online player Kanter get in the WSOP?? Its almost like watching typical online shit...he goes all in with A7, AQ calls him, and the flop comes 7710. Unreal.
11/15/2005 9:34:09 PM
i was just about to come post that. the overall play, aside from barch, at this final table has been terrible. at least he loses next i thinkFINALLY, GET THE FUCK OUT YOU LUCKY BASTARD[Edited on November 15, 2005 at 9:41 PM. Reason : .]
11/15/2005 9:35:57 PM
I still cant get over how Kanter knocked out Raymer.
11/15/2005 9:40:10 PM
i'm glad dannenmann loses too, i hate that stupid weasel laugh
11/15/2005 9:53:40 PM
That guy is a fucking idiot. What a terrible player. Sure, he made it that far, but fuck, he couldn't even play a hand seriously. And showing his hands all the time etc. I know he was excited to be where he was, but try to make more out of it. And he should have known he was beat that last hand, how and why he made that call is beyond me.
11/15/2005 10:04:43 PM
they had been at that final table for 13 hours, and he said he was just tired of playing. i think with $7.5 million on the line i could muster some adrenaline
11/15/2005 10:11:55 PM
anyone on here named "flickadisc" on pokerstars? says you are from Raleigh
11/15/2005 10:23:24 PM
i was playing poker saturday night.....i had a J8 suited....this other guy had a Q8 suited....on the flop was an 8A2..then another 8...then a 4 i thought he didnt have anything and he won by ONE card higher than mine at least i didnt go all in w/ that
11/15/2005 10:24:05 PM
good play
11/15/2005 10:29:33 PM
thanks but i wish i won i was 5th out of like 14 people
11/15/2005 10:31:55 PM
11/15/2005 10:58:02 PM
raymer should've been there, he just got knocked out by one of the worse calls i've ever seen. thats beyond luck, thats some realm i can't even fathom
11/15/2005 11:15:16 PM
How did Raymer get knocked out, I missed that episode?
11/15/2005 11:38:05 PM
i agree about raymer, the guy still had plenty of chips to fold with, kinda crappy luck. As much as I hate Matusow, i think he is a good agressive player with great reads, it's just that agressive players tend to get unlucky more often, even with good plays. And then i think that hashem's play was outstanding. as short stacked as he was, and just to come back slowly like so. Granted he went all in with Q7 and hit a Q against 99, but as a shortstack, you have leverage and luck on your side. I was happy seeing dannerman and hashem heads up. Dannerman is the poker guy that is always fun to be around and hashem plays good hands with the occasional bluff at good times. Aussie Aussie Aussie
11/15/2005 11:41:34 PM
raymer pocket kings other guy (don't remember his cards) had 2 high hearts. Board read 2 hearts and 2 random cards. Raymer all in, guy calls with nothing but a flush draw with one card left, hits the 2h. I'd be pissed
11/15/2005 11:43:32 PM
Raymer had Pocket Kings, the other guy had like JQ of hearts, flop came like 259 rainbow and Raymer bet out a good bit, and the guy calls him with no pair, no draw, Q high. Turn came a heart that gave no straight draw, Raymer went all in on the turn, and the guy had one more card to come and his only out was a heart, and the fuck called him, and caught his miracle heart on the river, I mean, I know he had outs and all, but it was for a lot of chips. It was just a total shitty way for Raymer to go out. And yes, the pros dont make it too far because they have to deal with thousands of morons who dont know what they are doing for the most part.

Hachem is solid.I havent seen tonights episodes yet, but he dvr has got em saved for me. (was at the bar)when hachem went in with Q7 i did see however, and wasnt it three or four handed at this point?with the antes, blinds, and the possible steal, a Q7 suited isnt that bad of a resteal hand. With his stack, the size of the blinds, the antes, and the amount in on the raise, i feel pretty certain he was getting a pretty good price on a possible resteal. I gurantee he didnt want to be called there. In the long run, he was what, a 3:1 dog? not bad. with that hand, you can figure to have a few live cards.Restealing when shortstacked and no one wants to bust is absolutely key in a final table. its a good way to accumulate chips, when no one wants to bust, or lose a good bit of their stack on a possible marginal holding.he just happened to get called, and caught a card.but what do i know about tournament strategy. (im finaly getting around to reading TPFAP =/, and need to read HoHE I & II)It seemed to me that even the most hardened players were only playing solid as fuck all tournament, dodging minefields. With the size of the field, and everyone gunning for them, you can do nothing else.youd be better off as an unkown than have people gunning for you all week.
11/15/2005 11:54:00 PM
True, I guess he isn't a total moron, but from most of the shit I saw him do, and what the commentators were saying, the guy pretty much got nothing but lucky most of the time. But like you say, you have to have "some" skill I guess to make it that far. And I agree with you, I like Hachem as a player, he looked solid the whole tournament. What all has Kanter done online? I know they said he is some online star.
11/16/2005 2:02:43 AM
he's not a moron, but about 75% of the hands they showed him playing were like he was playing on a computer. awful calls, raises, etc. that he got lucky with.
