I get what you are saying about the viewing angle if you are up close. But this is a three car garage and designed for big gatherings. Very similar to most sports bars.

Here is a pic from opening week of NFL last season. If the TVs were lower it would be difficult to see with the crowd. I actually put the Redskins games on one of the top TVs for that reason. If It's just me sitting at the bar, I'll put it on the lower TV. I am also debating a TV wall with 4 55 inch TVs where you can do one big screen or 4 individual. Really just need to buy two more TVs to match the top 2. I have the TV wall mounting hardware and controls.
