Seriously? You are defending a coach who has had 23 years. It's ACC baseball, we might swing and miss, but it is an attractive job. Duke was a complete joke in baseball forever before hiring Pollard from App.

We really missed Brian Brown this year, none of the starters were anything close to making up for his departure.

We sent 11 players to the draft in the last two years. Will Wilson expected go first round today.

^^We had the best pitching ERA in the conference in ACC games. 6th best batting average. Tied for 1st in fielding %.

I think we used all our luck up in the early winning streak. Or we just suck in the post season.

NC State signee Blake Walston was drafted by the Diamondbacks at #26. They have the largest bonus pool to sign draft picks, so I'd expect them to go well over slot value to try and get him to sign.

^Even without over-paying, he's slotted to make $2.65 million. Would be shocked to see him spurn that kinda money to come play at NC State for 3 years.

^^^the fact that half our lineup was basically a free out really hurt us once the competition got consistently better. If wilson/bailey/edwards didnt carry us...we lost
