^^^ sorry for your loss

I left T. Benjamin on the bench for some reason and it's going to cost me this week.

I'm hoping Jordan Matthews has a decent game and causes me to lose this week, thus securing me top waiver priority by being last place in my league.

Then I'll have to decide between Jerick McKinnon and Fozzy Whitaker.

Fantasy Football tanking is the best.

I really felt like I had the best team in my league this year and now that's about to fall apart. I still have Forte, and now I'll have to move Forsett (who has been disappointing too) into RB2 and flex somebody else like Hurns. I have Rivers and Brady so maybe I can trade one of them for something after week 4.

My first 3 draft picks in my big money league

AP

Keenan Allen

I just changed my team name to Team Injured Reserve

That's the extent of my positive-spinning abilities there

Anyone else considering dropping Stewart?

So Ivory is back with the team...and working out. Maybe he'll play Week 3?

Sounds like Charles will be back in week 3, but I'm wondering how many touches he'll get.

Would be nice to know if Gronk is out, Bennett is my only viable drop and he will get gobbled up on waivers...I need a RB, is McKinnon the best 1st waiver pickup of the season? Or should I wait to use that waiver?

I have CJ Anderson Matt Jones and Justin Forsett as RBs

thoughts?

Who's the better backup QB: Bortles or Carr?

I'd rather have a QB with six divisional matchups against the Colts, Titans, and Texans than the Chiefs, Broncos, and Chargers. Otherwise, I'd consider them comparable. Is streaming not an option?

That's a good point. I already have Bortles and will probably keep him.

Streaming is definitely an option, but I figure it's better to have Bortles on the bench versus having to hope Gabbert, Mariota or Flacco has a good game.

Lol. Synapse is bad at this thread.

I'm unsure about the Vikings rb situation. It seems like Asiata is going to get the goal line work. McKinnon is still the one to own though, probably. You definitely need RB help as Forsett is terrible and will probably lose the starting job when their rookie RB Dixon is healthy.

I'm thinking about dropping Zach Ertz in order to pick up Fozzy. Thoughts? I don't like the uncertainty about his injury (apparently it's super rare).

drop woodhead already or wait to see if its one of those "they thought he would be out for the year but now he's back after two weeks" miracles.

you people are bad at this...

after 2 games drop Ertz pick up Fozzy. On potential alone.
___________

^ Rams D is legit, Go Bortles.

_________

I think I am going to drop Andy Dalton and pick up McKinnon. I start Palmer, only reason I have Dalton is for Matchups with AJ Green and scoring.

Bennett is too valuable at this point to drop, and Forsett is still > McKinnon This week.

right? anyone agree? help? k thx

Yeah I would do that, of course I don't ever keep a backup qb.

I think McKinnon is worth a speculative add, even if Adrian Peterson is some sort of superhuman machine.

I still think you should keep an eye out for Kenneth Dixon. I think when he's healthy he'll get a shot to start in Baltimore.

Also, I'm picking up CAP instead of Fozzy.

AP has been averaging about 1 YPC before he went down due to that horrendous offense, and people think McKinnon will do better? At least Asiata is the goal line back should they ever manage to get into the red zone.

if you're looking for RB support down the road, then target Jordan Howard for the Bears. Langford has been dismal statistically, yet the Bears still force feed him the ball. Howard showed that he was much more capable last night. Give him a couple more games to demonstrate that he can handle pass protection, and he has a hell of a lot more upside than anyone not named AP in Minnesota.

Is Alfred Morris available in your league?

Agreed.

Who's the better RB pickup:

I. Crowell @ Mia
Riddick @ GB
Coleman @ NO

Was leaning Riddick, but it seems he won't see many goal line touches which is a killer in my league. So Crowell I guess? But with McCown out he's not as attractive.

^^ why are those guys not rostered in your league already?

Crowell has been pretty decent so far this year. The Browns RB situation seems to be similar the Bengals, with Crowell playing the Jeremy Hill part. If anything, having Kessler or whoever they end up putting out there at QB will increase his usage in the running game.

Riddick will probably lead the NFL in receptions for a RB again this year. He should be on a roster in every ppr league.

I would pick either one of those up before Coleman. He's been getting carries, but hasn't been as efficient as Freeman, so I expect his usage will decrease some.

^Panthers already officially named Fozzy the starter.

He's performed well, I can't imagine him not getting a chance to carry the load over a player who isn't even dressing for games before this week.

No, they haven't.

Quote :
""He's a stout inside runner," Rivera said. "He's more 'plant that leg and drive straight ahead,' where Fozzy is a little bit more niftier, a little bit better lateral movement."

"I have a tremendous amount of faith in who "CAP" can be for us. And knowing that you have a good change-of-pace guy in Fozzy, and you've got a guy that can come in and play situational football for you in Mike Tolbert - I think that's a good combination.""

CAP is inactive because he's basically Stewart Jr. He doesn't play special teams, so if the other RBs are healthy he doesn't really have a spot. Look at the end of last season when Stewart was out. CAP played the most of all the RBs.

[Edited on September 20, 2016 at 10:23 PM. Reason : You don't call a starter the change of pace guy]

i have no intentions of playing him this week. but hamstring injuries are often lingering issues, and with stewarts injury history, i suspect he'll be out multiple weeks.

also i ended up just picking up both fozzy and CAP (got fozzy in FA this morning) will probably end up dropping langford after this week if he loses touches to his backups.

CAP was a very popular and this week. You're dead on with the hamstring thing. He could be a legit 3 week starter, but I doubt he'll be much more than a weak rb2 or flex.

Got McKinnon for $6 FAAB in my PPR league. Now finding out Peterson may be out until December.

Just hope the Vikes picking up Ronnie Hillman doesn't end up fucking me somehow. Have had shit luck so far this year.

Yup, I realized the vikings RB committee is a big jumble, so I went with Fozzy instead.

Given Stewart's history and how the staff likes Fozzy, I think it's the safer pick.

Slumming? I'm saying this is more of the same - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Gordon#Professional_career

He hasn't played a full season since 2012. Do you actually think he'll make it through the remainder of this one?

Russell Wilson has been such a disappointment so far. I have Brady on the bench waiting to come in week 5, but are any of these QB's, who all have better numbers so far this season, worth picking up and possibly starting until then?

Tannehill (vs Browns)
Fitzpatrick (@ Chiefs)
Smith (vs Jets)
Flacco (@ Jags)

I need some help with my RB2 situation (0.5ppr), pick one:

Spencer Ware vs. Jets
Christine Michael vs. San Fran
Matt Jones @ NYG
Jeremy Hill vs. Denver
Chris Ivory vs. Balt
Fozzy vs. Minn

yuck
