For those wondering if a penalty shot (the right call) would've been a better possibility, you can turn down the penalty shot and take the power play instead. That's a much better chance of scoring at 4-on-3 than it is at 5-on-4 and Dineen likely would've taken it.

It was a bad Olympics compared to Vancouver standards. If it wasn't for all the new action sports and women's sports we wouldn't be topping the table. In all the traditional winter sports we have been less than stellar.

yea, most of our favorites to medal have sucked butt. Speed Skating was terrible, figure skating was bad, shaun white got injured. Then womens hockey choked away gold, mens hockey lost to Canada(again). There have been a few surprises, but the disappointments have been huge.

What sucks about Shaun White is he had the best run of anyone but it just happened to be to get to the finals. I know that's the rules but it just sucks not to get a medal when you had the highest score of anyone competing
