I liked the first episode of Season 3 a lot. Lots of new plotlines, cool new characters, tone of the season established.

But the best thing about the episode was easily Skye/Daisy's tank top.

I just finished season 2. I'm s pissed Fitz and Simmons have to keep suffering, but damn that was a great cliffhanger. Also, way to include the show in the MCU Phase 2 "someone loses a hand in every movie to pay tribute to Empire Strikes Back" thing.

Between X-Men/mutants, inhumans, and Heroes now back on the air, it's become clear there are really only 10 or so unique abilities any writer has ever come up with and all the others are variations on a theme.

Liked the end of the first half of the season....except for the whole Ward coming back thing.

If the portal had like 5 seconds left when they made it through, how did another body make it through without them seeing it?

How exactly did Coulson kill Ward? It showed his chest kind of implode? I guess he crushed his ribcage/organs with his power hand? Why not just shoot him in the head?

Coulson implied that he needed Ward to lead the way, which contradicts how he was following their footprints earlier in the episode.

It was a sloppy plot device to get Ward's body near the dying inhuman.

In the end, Coulson straight up murdered Ward for revenge with Fitz watching. I think Fitz would have done the same if he could have gotten Ward's gun earlier, so I wonder how it will play out between them.

Ya, I'm kinda wondering what they're going to do from here. Also, surely, they have more ties to Civil War and the rest of the MCU when they drop this year. Marvel Puzzle Quest already featured both Daisy (when Agents of Shield started up) and Daredevil (when the new episodes dropped).

Didn't even know they were getting a spinoff. Kinda meh on that, although I don't mind their characters I don't think they are strong enough for their own show. Don't really wanna watch it but at the same time I don't wanna miss out on anything in the MCU.

Kind of looking forward to the new show but also kind of wish they got to stay in the team. The scene with hunter, coulson, and Fitz just lounging in Phil's office and Hunter just casually puts his feet up on Phil's desk is one my my favorite scenes in the series.

So like, did I dream the first scene of the show last night with Daisy and Coulson in the containment unit on the alien planet? It wasn't referenced again in the entire rest of the show. I figured it was a preview of a later scene but nope.

I wasn't paying that much attention at that point so maybe it didn't actually happen.

There is an Inhumans movie planned though which may involve her since she is the main character of Agents of SHIELD. I read somewhere that the Avengers Infinity War movies are supposed to bring in ALL of the main characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so her (as well as Coulson and maybe some others) will probably at least make a cameo in them.

Inhumans movie has been shelved for the moment though. I'm sure they will still do it eventually unless Fox totally destroys the Xmen universe in the next few years but its "phase 4" at the earliest.

Hmm. Considering how much ingrained Agent Carter was with the movies I'm surprised. Peggy even had a small role in Ant-Man. I'd think at the very least Coulson would do some stuff in Infinity War though, since he's already been on screen with the Avengers and some of the standalone movies.

I don't think the Avengers even know the Coulson is alive. Hasn't that been addressed in either the show, or in an interview? Didn't he tell Lady Sif that he wanted to be the one to tell Thor?

The Agent Carter show is not really intertwined with any of the movies after CA1. I was hoping we'd see the actually founding of SHIELD or that maybe Pym would show up at some point, but unless netflix picks it up we won't see it :-(

This new season is actually pretty good so far. I've been sort of hate watching it from the start because I love the MCU so much I didn't want to miss out on anything, and while it did get better, it always seemed like a bit of a chore, but this is one of the first times I've actually been looking forward to, and really enjoying new episodes.
