sanctions? give me a fucking break
11/29/2012 8:33:45 PM
Stern is a fucking clownthe head coach can make whatever coaching decisions he thinks are best for his team
11/29/2012 9:17:06 PM
the spurs "big 3" is the biggest misnomer of all-time.Ginobili is an elite player obviously. But Parker is just average and Duncan is below average.Their key players are Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard, and Tiago Splitter. Benching the "big three" means ginobili isnt playing and they are slightly worse at PG...[Edited on November 29, 2012 at 9:20 PM. Reason : a]
11/29/2012 9:19:24 PM
shockingly, Duncan accounts for way more than things that only show up in a box score[Edited on November 29, 2012 at 9:25 PM. Reason : yeah]
11/29/2012 9:24:09 PM
actually i just checked the stats... duncan is good this year. Weird surprised i hadnt heard about that yet. And Ginobili isnt any good this year... he's old he might be breaking downBeen busy, havent been watching every team closely[Edited on November 29, 2012 at 9:27 PM. Reason : a]
11/29/2012 9:26:40 PM
Green, Leonard and Splitter are the real Big 3
11/29/2012 9:26:46 PM
can't believe you made a blanket statement about a player without knowing anything about the season they're having
11/29/2012 9:28:14 PM
You're right I never do that, but we're talking about Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili.Ginobili has been a stud for basically a decade, Duncan has been a dud for basically five years, and Parker has been average to above average his entire career. If i was going to make a blanket statement about any three players in the league I would pick them. They are some of the most consistent players in the league every year.Except this year apparently. I, for one, actually have the nutsac to admit when I'm wrong. It doesn't happen often, enjoy it.
11/29/2012 9:40:38 PM
Duncan has been a perennial all star for the last 5 years, how has he been a dud?]
11/29/2012 9:42:19 PM
LOL. Yeah he was a huge star last year."dud" is too strong of a word but he was a below average player last year. He's certainly not a star player he was 10 years ago. He's not a total anchor like Bargnani or washed up like Dirk, but he hasn't been a very good player the past few years. Just average.[Edited on November 29, 2012 at 9:48 PM. Reason : a]
11/29/2012 9:45:09 PM
Correct[Edited on November 29, 2012 at 9:47 PM. Reason : " admit when I'm wrong."]
11/29/2012 9:46:59 PM
All-Stars don't count in leagues where fans vote.Over-the-hill/way-past-their-prime guys have been making unwarranted NBA All-Star games for yours.
11/29/2012 9:49:04 PM
Duncan's per-36 minute stats have been insanely consistent over his entire careerjust cause he hasn't averaged as many minutes per game doesn't mean he has gone from superstar to dudis he a step slower than he was 10 years ago? sure...is his basketball IQ a notch higher than it was 10 years ago? sure[Edited on November 29, 2012 at 9:54 PM. Reason : Duncan*]
11/29/2012 9:54:19 PM
^^(that'd be every league)(and all-star appearances do count)[Edited on November 29, 2012 at 10:00 PM. Reason : yeah]
11/29/2012 9:55:25 PM
i don't put any weight on all-star appearances, for all of you wondering
11/29/2012 9:56:06 PM
per-36 minute stats from being an elite player 10 years ago to a dud this year02-03: 21.3 ppg, 2.7 bpg, 0.6 spg, 3.6 apg, 11.8 rpg, 71% FT, 51.3% FG12-13: 21.6 ppg, 2.9 bpg, 1.0 spg, 3.0 apg, 11.4 rpg, 76% FT, 52.9% FG[Edited on November 29, 2012 at 10:01 PM. Reason : what a below-average dud he's become][Edited on November 29, 2012 at 10:04 PM. Reason : and since face doesnt care about any of those stats, his WS48 this year is his career-best]
11/29/2012 10:00:49 PM
I wonder if the Heat are just messing around...anyways...GO SPURS GO!!!
11/29/2012 10:25:02 PM
FACE THINKS TIM DUNCAN IS BAD LOL
11/29/2012 10:43:37 PM
well clearly Duncan wasn't good the last two years. Everyone agrees with that, right?
11/29/2012 10:53:48 PM
I thought the spurs were going to take it. all those guys can play well and heat always look lackluster.. it looked that way the whole game but Lebron and Ray Allen dont give a shit about the spurs' "well coached fundamental team ball" .
11/29/2012 10:54:22 PM
I wonder what sanctions the Spurs will get for putting on such an entertaining game.
11/29/2012 11:00:57 PM
AI acted like he had 2 seconds on the clock
11/30/2012 1:18:23 AM
Where are we on Melo this year? League average or below?
11/30/2012 9:03:41 PM
he'd be fighting vandy for minutes in the college ranks
11/30/2012 9:24:43 PM
wow Varejao is putting up some ridiculous rebounding numbers so far this yearrebounds over his last seven games:18182215171915and just 18 again tonight
11/30/2012 9:52:28 PM
Spurs fined $250,000 for benching the Big 3 last nightwhat a joke
11/30/2012 11:23:22 PM
I'm trying to imagine what would happen if the NHL fined a team for starting their backup goaltender on national TV.I'm pretty sure Brian Burke would lynch Bettman in Times Square.
11/30/2012 11:33:49 PM
if the NHL fined anyone $250k they'd go broke and have yet another lockoutamirite
11/30/2012 11:47:22 PM
NHL coach fined 2 lunchables
12/1/2012 12:09:19 AM

12/4/2012 11:46:04 PM
Heat lost to the Wizards...cause RG3 was there...
12/4/2012 11:51:54 PM
JR sucked balls all game but hit the winner when it mattered.Kemba was ridiculous tonight. Glad he seems to have found himself this season..
12/5/2012 9:58:31 PM
Austin Rivers is not very good at basketball
12/5/2012 10:34:43 PM
Kirilenko's injury is killing my fantasy team
12/5/2012 10:59:40 PM
^^ yet he still starts. Shooting 28.3% and keeping your job is impressive.
12/6/2012 12:43:45 PM
Ray Felton is going off.Love this entire team..

Ron is the man.
12/8/2012 5:20:00 PM
I remember watching that and what amazed me is that not only did he go into the crowd( w/ Jackson), but Ron hit the wrong dude. Some innocent dude got jacked in the jaw by Ron Artest's fist.I thought the he was going to get ejected from the league for life. (he should have). but nope. a couple years later that dude got onto a better team and won championships and cliched game seven when kobe was sucking I believe. talk about redemption

12/8/2012 8:43:04 PM
Was at a xmas event so didn't see the game but how the fuck did Ray Felton take THIRTY shots last night. I get Melo was out again so someone has to but good jesus.9-30..
12/9/2012 2:26:27 PM
yeah that's usually JR Smith's job. it's a longs season. it happens
12/9/2012 2:32:23 PM
uh, 30 shots really doesn't ever happen from random players.30?! Especially since he only hit 9, that's crazy. He's always been one of the lower FG% shooters in the league, so for him to be taking more than ~7-9 is a bad idea. 30 is insane.
12/9/2012 2:57:19 PM
had it not been for a 3 with 12 seconds to go, the raptors would have only scored 7 points in the 4th quarter against the Clippers.
12/9/2012 6:00:30 PM
the bulls must be watching this rockets game wondering how in the world they let a stud like Asik get away
12/10/2012 10:25:23 PM
'Melo absolutely dominating right now
12/11/2012 9:34:38 PM
Boom! Kidd..
