sometimes easy picks bounce off the defensive back's hands as if they had the coordination of Ethan Albright in Madden 07other times you throw a quick slant, and the linebacker jumps 8 yards backwards and picks it off blindly
7/26/2012 3:50:20 PM
i'm curious, when you successfully convince someone to return does that negatively impact your school's pro potential? like, do you only get credit when players actually go pro?
7/26/2012 5:27:18 PM
not sure...i had 7 seniors who did get drafted, and my Pro Potential stayed at an A+but that was Bama, so I dunno how it'd affect a lesser program like State
7/26/2012 5:40:55 PM
I haven't heard anyone complain about getting sacked which makes me very concerned about the absence of pass rush. In reality it should be snap, 1, 2,3, guy in your face on a normal play.
7/27/2012 3:08:02 PM
in reality it completely depends on the play calledshould somebody be in your face in 3 seconds if they're playing a deep zone with only 3 defensive linemen rushing the passer? of course not
7/27/2012 3:11:09 PM
E Man's strategy of moving DBs to the line of scrimmage helps
7/27/2012 3:31:13 PM
blitz all safeties, every single play. on run plays, use the block fg play. FUN
7/27/2012 3:44:28 PM
^^^3 man rush is not a typical play. don't deflect us from the issue^^lol ass still blistered all up from getting fsu handled by kentucky. Put your pants back on man, we've seen enough scars. A lot of SS move around and disguise what they are doing. I'm sorry you haven't had the opportunity to watch more football, ernie. 1 example I'm sure you know of but have trouble recalling http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTf3j3007UEWouldn't be wise against me though. People usually audible their dbs back against me to avoid getting burned but they still end up getting picked apart. All because I am able to read defenses after the snap. You should try it. You'll probably never be as good at it as me but I'm sure its not all innate talent and partially something you can develop.
7/27/2012 4:21:39 PM
dont deflect from what issue? you havent even played NCAA 13, what the hell do you know about how well the pass rush works? and 3 man rush is a typical play on obvious passing downs with 5 wide sets...at least for people who play with sportsmanship
7/27/2012 4:24:32 PM
I asked if the passrush was nonexistent in this game and you responded by saying it is when you drop 8. I don't know anything about how the game works which is why I'm asking about typical plays and not extreme plays.3 man rush on passing downs is what you call sportsmanship? If you are predictable you won't stop anybody on 3rd down. (I'm talking football in general not ncaa2013) and 3 man rushes usually get beat because the 5wrs have all day to get open. Theres a saying that the "prevent" defense only prevents you from winning. This is why the teams that put the most pressure on the QB almost always top ranked.Sportsmanship is not using glitches, doing things outside the spirit of the game, excessively running up the score, excessively padding stats and doing things that are otherwise unprecedented within the actual game. Don't confuse sportsmanship with "letting the other person have a good chance at converting"
7/27/2012 4:41:46 PM
Well it only took me two hours to find a pass play I can run successfully against any competition. Go me.
7/27/2012 8:05:12 PM
^quick slants
7/28/2012 10:30:16 AM
anybody have this for ps3 and can tell me how to get rosters?thanks
7/29/2012 3:03:02 PM
nevermindi used "gamingtailgate"
7/29/2012 4:13:31 PM
Mother fucker this bitch froze on me four times last night. Oh well, I have successfully parlayed my stint as OC on the undefeated national champion louisiana tech team into the usf head coaching gig.Is it possible to turn off those retarded studio updates during the game? I don't give a fuck if iowa is beating northern buttfuck university by 13 points.
7/29/2012 4:58:16 PM
"And the opening kick off gets returned to the 19...lets go to the studio for a game break"After shutting out Georgia in the national championship game and taking no-name Texas State to a BCS national championship in my first season, Coach Tom O'Brien elects to sign a 2-year contract as offensive coordinator at Florida International, since the NC State job isn't yet available for someone of his stature.
7/29/2012 5:01:35 PM
Next year they will probably put in commercial breaks.
7/29/2012 5:03:34 PM
this is my first ncaa since 09. is there a way to sort resort/rank your recruiting board w/out manually changing each recruits ranking?like in 09, you could rank by interest, recruiting ranking, or something else
7/29/2012 5:14:20 PM
^not that i know of...hell there is still a glitch, to my knowledge, that sometimes when you re-rank a recruit, his interest goes from whatever it is, to not having you in the top 10you can of course sort the list by interest, ranking, etc but just temporarily by highlighting that column and hitting X on xbox (probably Square on PS3)...i like to use less minutes per week on the recruits that already have me as 1st choice]
7/29/2012 5:16:08 PM
ust picked up the game. Who has the best rosters?
7/29/2012 6:07:45 PM
PS3 or 360?
7/29/2012 8:53:36 PM
Let's say 360. I need to download rosters.

First dynasty game, up 21-7 in Tennessee when Glennon is knocked out. Lost in triple OT...
7/30/2012 7:36:20 AM
In my first season I had Glennon go out of one game. Went down in the 1st quarter with a concussion.(Really glad they don't have lingering concussion problems built into the game, haha). But Brosius came in and was surprisingly solid, easy transition. Then again I didn't ask him to carry the team, nice balance of Washington/Creecy and then passing/short routes to keep the chains moving. Now in season 2, Brosius is a man-child. Could also be that I'm just having to throw more in general because Washington >> Creecy in this video game.
7/30/2012 8:03:36 AM
in my first 3 games i had 1-2 guys go out for the game in the first half, #1 RB, WR, QB, CB and the likes. In my 4th game my RB went out for 3 weeks and my #1 WR for the season. Is there a slider for injuries??
7/30/2012 8:06:56 AM
in my first season, my #1 RB got injured for the season on the first drive of the first game. The #2 got knocked out for 10 weeks in week 3. The third stringer proceeded to rack up ~1500 yards and won the heisman. He worked out much better for me because the other two were too slow to play behind my shitty ass line.
7/30/2012 10:10:02 AM
Anyone else hitting the glitch where a couple recruiting call topics week result in zero point, even if it is a topic of interest for the recruit? Seems to mainly happen on comparisons, but I'm hoping a patch comes out because it is getting annoying wasting valuable recruiting minutes and losing 40-120 points at a time.
8/2/2012 7:37:06 AM
I saw that, but only with comparisons. And it seemed to be consistent with particular recruits and certain topics. I kind of figured that maybe they capped how much you could get "negative" influence on an opponent team on one particular topic. Just wish they'd give you a heads up before you waste it.
8/2/2012 9:38:52 AM
yeah i noticed that as well.on this last recruiting cycle i picked up two of the best QB recruits i've ever gotten on any NCAA game.both were 4 star athletes. One is 93 speed, 90 acceleration, 85 throw power, 80 accuracy. The other is 90 speed, 90 acceleration and about 80 and 80 in the throwing skills. I moved the second one to RB and redshirted them both. Also got a 6'4 240 lb WR who will kill some bitches next year. He is redshirting also.
8/2/2012 12:09:36 PM
just got the game. first game guy used the no huddle glitch all game and it was pretty disgusting. hope they get that patched soon. too obvious for them not to, right?
8/7/2012 9:15:54 PM
i played a game earlier where this guy kept going for it on 4th downthats a glitch, right?
8/7/2012 9:33:56 PM
no theres a certain glitch in this game everyone has been talking about where a guy can do a no huddle and you pick your play and it lets you but your team runs the original defense.
8/7/2012 9:47:54 PM
my heisman winning WR caught 30 td'sbut of course, he didnt get drafted...
8/12/2012 7:14:19 PM
^Yeah I had an All-American LG(might have been my first one ever) and he didn't get drafted, haha.Year 2 I only had 1 kid drafted, and it was Amerson in the 1st round. Think it goes more by their overall ratings then their stats. So if your guy was like 85 overall and you were just throwing to him a ton, he still won't get drafted over 90 overall guys.It was weird, I think Amerson regressed in Season 2 vs Season 1. He had maybe 6 picks in season 2 and wasn't as dominant overall. Oh well, should be interesting to see how my defense holds up without a "play-maker" in the secondary, haha.
8/13/2012 7:06:36 AM
I'm ready to get a dynasty going.[Edited on August 17, 2012 at 4:16 AM. Reason : (not good this year)]
8/17/2012 4:16:21 AM
^^^Our scouts told us he was just a product of the system. No real talent in those 30 TDs.
8/17/2012 7:14:15 AM
Just returned an interception 89 yards for a td...with my defensive end.The highlight was graded A++.
8/22/2012 7:53:21 PM
from the videos i've seen on the internet, the gameplay looks almost identical to ncaa 12. Its amazing the price has dropped 20 bucks and the game is barely a month old.
8/22/2012 9:11:09 PM
the game is nothing like 12 but its good i guess. much less predictable. this is the first year i can remember not being able to predict what would happen on a play if i knew the offensive play and the defensive play. sometimes guys get beat sometimes they miraculously guard guys. it makes you have to think on your feet more which is good.
8/22/2012 9:22:31 PM
anyone know how to stop the auto-mass subs the game does when you are up by alot?
