^And I believe even though they were both 4 year players, Hurley played the equivalent of an entire season's worth of games more than Corch. (Duke's tourney success the primary reasoning)[Edited on February 18, 2013 at 10:25 AM. Reason : add another note ]

I wasn't aware that Hodge is in the top 5 in assists at NCSU. I didn't remember him ever passing the ball when he was here. I guess that really speaks to how bad our point guards have been for the past 10 or so years.
2/18/2013 11:09:40 AM
Actually, Hodge is #21 in the ACC all-time. So he must have been passing it more than you remember.
2/18/2013 11:16:36 AM
^^ WTF?Hodge was the premier triple threat man in all of college ball while he was here. He consistently was in the top 10 in scoring, rebounds and assists.
2/18/2013 11:41:57 AM
2/18/2013 12:03:13 PM
^i think that he was saying it spoke volumes about our point guards that a forward is our 5th all-time assist leader. but has been pointed out, hodge had more assists than most ACC point guards.

I finally bought my black Zo Jersey at the FSU game
2/21/2013 11:16:33 PM
Not going to be a first round pick after his disappointing year.Would love to see him back next year. Perhaps a summer to rehab his knee and ankle and he'd have the breakout year we were all expecting this year.

^fag
2/23/2013 5:50:51 PM
word is he re-tweaked his ankle. let's hope this isn't anything big!

so appreciated

ZO ZO POWER RANGER!
3/7/2013 7:13:29 AM
For a second I thought Zo was going to get a technical for almost slapping this dudehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcXvhzYf8NY&feature=youtu.be
3/7/2013 12:39:08 PM
me too, I was like c'mon Zo, he's just a freshman
3/7/2013 12:41:05 PM
^^Lol at Purvis' jumping jack on the bench when Zo dunks it. He's taken CJ Williams place as best on-the-bench celebrator

Best pro prospect on this team.

3/14/2013 12:49:43 PM
He's already got an ACC tournament record with 10 assists with 6 minutes left.
3/14/2013 4:08:18 PM
Was a great team leader today, and frustrated the hell out of green. +++++
3/14/2013 5:37:56 PM

brown is not allowed to go pro until he gets a triple double
3/14/2013 8:17:12 PM
and this guy, he's awesome
3/16/2013 12:36:22 AM
What's interesting is that we're blowing teams out without Zo scoring a ton. He was 2-10 shooting yesterday, but it didn't really matter.Pretty crazy that our 1st team all ACC guy (Howell) and our 2nd team all ACC guy (Zo) can combine for 15 points and we still win by 20.
3/16/2013 10:09:27 AM
^which is why we're considered the best offensive team in the ACC. We've had 7 different guys score 15+ points this season. I doubt there are a ton of teams out there that can say that. Hell, at any point you could get 20 from Brown, Warren, Wood, Howell or Leslie. Purvis has even put up 20 against Boston College
3/16/2013 12:52:32 PM
hes just not the same
3/16/2013 2:54:45 PM
He's always been a bit of a head case, basically all of Lowe's recruits are.
3/16/2013 3:05:59 PM
wood and howell are just fine. cjw was just fine[Edited on March 16, 2013 at 3:54 PM. Reason : its these "nba" guys you have to worry about]
3/16/2013 3:53:49 PM
i have having NBA level talentyou can't win with great basketball players like that
3/16/2013 4:10:48 PM
6ppg vs good teams. brown is surely a pro. i mean he may not be a scorer but hes such a great floor general, takes care of the ball, plays phenomenal defense and stretches defense with his sharpshooting.
3/16/2013 4:17:50 PM
i would love nba talentproblems are when you have fringe nba talentexample: lebryan nash. big recruit for ok state a couple years ago. selfish, inefficient player. ok state finished 15-18 with him as the star last yearthis year, marcus smart (lottery pick) comes in and is the star. nash is benched at times but most importantly isn't the #1 option and gets to focus on his strengths when he's playing. they're like a 3-4 seed nowour team has a lot of fringe nba guys. leslie is a 3/4 tweener who doesnt have the body of a 4 or the shooting of a 3. brown has nba size and athleticism but doesn't protect the ball or shoot well. wood is tall and a knockdown shooter but doesnt have nba athleticism. howell has nba center skills but not the height and/or athletic ability to play anything besides the 4.although that team should still be good. the last duke natty team was a bunch of fringe nba talent too.
3/16/2013 4:18:39 PM
name me a team thats won a national title in the last 30 years that doesnt have NBA talentnevermind, i'd rather not be ranked because we play better!
3/16/2013 4:24:06 PM
brown might not be nba talent.
3/16/2013 4:26:34 PM
Strong words from a strong man.
3/16/2013 4:27:46 PM
i'd rather have a team full of CJ Williamseswho sucked their first 3 years
3/16/2013 4:28:02 PM
^ 2010 Duke?? Mason is probably their best hope for a meaningful career..[Edited on March 16, 2013 at 4:28 PM. Reason : For twista]
3/16/2013 4:28:14 PM
all im saying is let's recruit michael kidd-gilchrist instead of lance stephenson
3/16/2013 4:28:20 PM
^^i don't disagree, but i think thats more the exception than the rule...plus they have the best coach of all time, and had a 'relatively' easy NCAA bracket pathplus they had (younger) Ryan Kelly and Seth Curry, who both will play in the leagueand don't forget Singler, he's so good he's on the Bobcats!
3/16/2013 4:30:52 PM
[Edited on March 16, 2013 at 4:32 PM. Reason : oh hell ]
3/16/2013 4:31:43 PM
Maybe you dont follow the nba but lance stephenson is awesome this year. Breakout player of the year maybe
3/17/2013 4:00:59 PM
Not sure if protesting the lack of offensive movement by bricking threes or this is part of some retarded gameplan.
3/22/2013 2:50:58 PM
Unfortunate season for him this year. I think the knee surgery ruined his offseason development and then he injures his ankle just as he starts playing his best ball.
3/22/2013 2:53:12 PM
I'm giving him about a 10% chance of coming back. If he does come back, though, I wonder if we'll try to play him more at 2 guard. With Lewis and Barber next year, we should be ok at PG, but we could use some scoring/playmaking from the wing. Maybe we play small and start Lewis, Zo, and Purvis. I wouldn't hate it.[Edited on March 22, 2013 at 5:31 PM. Reason : ]

what the fuck is barber gonna do if he comes back? From what I have heard, he might fill the Russ smith role, but certainly not running the point.
