----Joke spoiler, has nothing to do with the plot----I laughed harder at the shoe horn cutaway than I have at anything else this show has ever done. Part of that may be that the last time I listened to Gilbert Gottfried, he was reading excerpts of 50 shades of grey.---------------------------------------------------------

Despite my earlier comments based on what I had heard, the season didn't really keep my attention. The first two episodes were spent trying to mitigate the damage from the poor prior season (i.e. pulling everyone back together). They did alright shifting focus from those plot points, but I still felt there was WAY too much Rebel. The Mexico plot points didn't really add anything as well.Jessica Walter's character was the only one which had jokes that made me laugh.

The first episode definitely had way too much recapping and exposition, and you're right that Walters is the best part of the season so far, but there are other good pieces. I particularly enjoyed Maeby's time in the retirement home.

Been binge watching this, it’s hilarious. Really Interesting to see all the contemporary references too.
