Just saw it and really enjoyed it. It was exactly what a Superman comic should be. The character of Clark/Superman has always sucked to me even in the comics. I just want to see him punch holes through peoples' chests. Thought Cavill did a good job, decent job showing the internal struggle as a kid, as well as the boring "oh well I can't be hurt" adult attitude. Lois' character started out great when she arrived at the arctic base and then she kind of fell off. I didn't mind this because what did they replace character development (of characters that we all already know very well) with.... kick ass fight scenes. This is the first time that I really enjoyed a Superman fight scene (except the Darkseid scene from above that was awesome). For some reason you could really "feel" the impact of the punches. All the other Superman movies focus on Clark and the people. I want to see Superman fighting other super people with the fate of Earth on the line, and I got what I wanted. The only thing that killed the movie for me was fucking lens flare. Why do you ruin beautiful shots by blinding people? I hate this trend in new movies. In terms of the most powerful in DC, that depends on the author and the age. Silver age Superman was way OP. Yes Spectre is typically considered more powerful than Superman because, oh I don't know ... he's the physical embodiment of the Wrath of God and is powered by "The Presence" aka the Judeo-Christian God. If you want to see a really powerful Superman check out All-Star Superman or this guy http://superman.wikia.com/wiki/Superman_Prime_(One_Million). Oh and here's the answer to how Superman shaves: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvkDcrbLP2s[Edited on July 12, 2013 at 11:25 PM. Reason : sp]

So I get the whole being able to fly and strength due to differences in gravity, however I still don't see how that would render his skin bulletproof.I have a question though for the superman experts out there. Is he actually any part human? Has he ever impregnated anybody in the DC universe? I know they implied that he knocked up someone in Batman Returns, but I wasn't sure.
