I remember Cole dropping back and breaking up some pass plays last year. He's not going to be able to cover a guy like a safety or DB, but as far as our big guys on D goes, he's got the ability.

4/11/2011 12:33:41 PM
At the coach's caravan in Fayetteville. Just talked to TOB. He said we could beat UNC with both hands behind our back. He also said they can't count in reference to their spring game attendance.
4/11/2011 6:26:17 PM
He also said he expects Mike Glennon to be the next Matt Ryan
4/11/2011 7:14:34 PM
He told me in 2007 we are gonna win a national championship.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_scoreboards_in_NCAA_college_footballThat is the exact same as FSU's right now and will put us tied for 20th largest in the nation. When is the scoreboard supposed to be completed?

Just to let everyone know, most foot surgeries, particularly those that involve pins and/or screws, require the patient to be NWB for 4-6 weeks.

I would much rather anyone get hurt now rather than later.
4/12/2011 12:26:51 PM
^very true, but it still hurts his strength and conditioning and other off-season development. I wish him as quick a recovery as he is on the field.
4/12/2011 2:39:12 PM
is it going in before this football season or next?
4/12/2011 3:36:05 PM
Dudes on ESPN talking about Wilson, trying to figure out why O'Brien doesn't want him back. Also discussing the possibility of Wilson transferring.
4/12/2011 3:57:24 PM
the new video board will be installed before the start of the 2011 season.
4/12/2011 3:58:54 PM
^^Seriously? They really think he might transfer? lol.
4/12/2011 4:10:25 PM
^^Sweet can't wait to see it
4/12/2011 4:50:14 PM
I am excited about the new video board and it may end up looking perfect in our new stadium, but I wish they had gone a little less wide and a little taller. I dont really like how all of the super thin/wide boards look. But for 2 mill its not a huge investment, especially with the increased ad revenue (open up your check books house autry mills/pork patrol/john deer) so we can always upgrade again in another 6-8 years. Hopefully by then we are looking to bowl in that end of the stadium to add another 10k seats!
4/12/2011 8:09:48 PM
i think if you had two more winning seasons, major bowl and/or ACC Championship + BCS bowl (obviously) the interest and demand would be such that bowling in the endzones would be a foregone conclusion.
4/12/2011 8:55:00 PM
4/12/2011 10:23:36 PM
maybe it was like "knee deep into the spring football workouts" and it got cut off.
4/12/2011 10:25:02 PM
^^^We've definitely got the fan base. Same goes with basketball...people trash State fans for not showing up when we have been trash for the better part of 20 years in basketball. Look at the level of success we've had in football over the last 10 years (nothing special...some good seasons though) and the fans show up in record numbers. Winning brings the fans...football, with the very mild success we've had, has proven that. That being said, accomplishing the things you laid out would certainly be a difficult feat...[Edited on April 12, 2011 at 10:43 PM.
