Lebron will demand the tape so that nobody else can ever see it

It's official, Carmelo finally got traded to the Knicks
2/21/2011 10:24:01 PM
I saw The Bron James take off walking from the 3pt line twice towards the end of lastnights game. All the announcers did was rave about how he looked like Charles Barkeley so I rewinded each one to count steps and he took 5 on the first and 4 on the second. I knew it was no way possible for him to pick up his dribble at the 3pt line, step around 2 defenders and make it all the way to the basket without traveling.
2/21/2011 11:33:34 PM
So does this put Lawson and Felton on the same team?? That's kinda interesting. Maybe they should pick up Cota.I hope this gets more minutes for Lawson. He's been on my "waiting to cut" list on my Fantasy Team for weeks. He produces when he gets minutes, just doesn't always get them with Billups ahead of him.
2/22/2011 7:33:53 AM
The Nuggets have to be shopping one of the two out of Felton and Lawson. They are the same player. Lawson does produce when he gets a chance so maybe the Nuggets will move him to a team that needs a PG.
2/22/2011 10:16:01 AM
The Nuggets are now officially Nene Hilario's team, he is now undoubtedly the best player on the teamI see him leading Denver to a Western Conference Championship at minimum. Honestly I'd be shocked if he didn't singlehandedly lead them to a 4-0 sweep of the Celtics in the finals. He's just that good.

2/22/2011 3:46:03 PM
let's talk about the 65th season of the nba
2/22/2011 4:27:57 PM
Terrible trade for New York. Carmelo isnt a great player but he's going to be paid like he is one. In the meantime they just gave up all of their assets and cap space to get him.WHOOPS.Good luck trying to convince CPIII, D.Howard, or Deron to come play in NY without offering the maximum. Have fun coming in 5th or 6th in the Eastern Conference every year.Good trade for Denver, they were going to lose Carmelo anyway and they got some young talent and draft picks for him. Melo is one of the most overrated players in the league. People pretend he's a superstar but in reality he isn't one of the top 25 players in the league and will likely flame out again in New York. I can't think of a better city for an overhyped never was to go to... call me if they ever make the 2nd round without a 3rd "superstar" joining (boy does that term get thrown around loosely these days)
2/22/2011 10:11:49 PM
2/22/2011 10:16:20 PM
Nope. He's a guy who shoots a lot you are right about that. Not a guy who is really all that good though. What's everyone's excuse going to be when he cant win in New York either?
2/22/2011 11:57:09 PM
how far is Nene gonna lead Denver?the sky is the limit with his talent
2/23/2011 12:19:32 AM
2/23/2011 12:33:51 AM
did a trade actually happen? it was so out of control and getting so bad publicity and franchise wise, the knicks should just wait till the off season, trading felton is absolutely idioticoh god I just realize isiah thomas prob masterminded this; no matter the press is saying this is more of a publicity move then actually building a franchise right now, why isiah was invited back to seize power in this franchise is beyond me, something really seems to be special between him and the owner, I really wonder if it's sexual (isiah is secretly gay isn't he?), regardless they shouldn't have traded 3 starters away when they probably still would have gotten melo in free agency[Edited on February 23, 2011 at 2:46 AM. Reason : k]
2/23/2011 2:39:26 AM
2/25/2011 3:36:48 AM
congrats to Nene for getting his 1st double double in 3 weeks last nightwhat a star
2/25/2011 7:27:19 PM
he'll carry the nuggets as far as they are willing to go! up up and away!!
2/25/2011 7:28:01 PM
yeah melo is really killing it in new york, awesome game
2/25/2011 7:30:44 PM
yeah 27 and 10 is HORRIBLEi guess the fact that he shot 40% for the game means you ignore that he scored 27 points, grabbed 10 boards, got a couple steals, and helped the Knicks win the gameall while trying to establish chemistry with a brand new team]
2/25/2011 7:56:37 PM
do you think the knicks have found out how overrated carmelo is yet or are they still in that delusional denial state?lost to the knicks and he's shooting 19/47 thru two games. Keep shooting Melo! Maybe the problem is he's not shooting enough... if he took 40 shots a game he'd make more. Its kinda like the delusional liberals who think we didnt stimulate the economy enough
2/26/2011 1:46:10 AM
^ obviously i meant to say they lost to the fucking cavaliers last night
2/26/2011 11:13:27 AM
yeah i was a little busy this week, but for Thursday night:
2/27/2011 4:49:23 PM
In case you haven't been following the Wizards (like everyone), it's likely they might pull something like the Caps and go from perennial has-beens to a playoff team in the next couple years, if Wall has someone other than Josh Howard to work with. Ted Leonsis is willing to take criticism and take drastic steps. However, they're coming from further down and I expect they'll be a 7 or 8 seed, maybe in 2 years. They need draft picks.
2/27/2011 5:21:45 PM
1. Knicks trade for Carmelo2. Knicks win @ Miami against rally's darlingsso sour
2/27/2011 10:43:33 PM
darlings? i dont really like them they are actually pretty boring to watch. I like watching the Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, and Warriors. I rarely watch anyone else during the regular season.
2/27/2011 11:31:29 PM
darlings, as in, 72-10 is a real possibilitycan't believe the stout Miami defense let a scrub like Carmelo put in 29 meaningless pointsand props to Lebron James, the best player ever, even better than MJ, etc, and especially better than Kobe...props to him for getting completely owned on his final basket attempt, by both Melo and Amare, neither of whom are superstarsbut all who have the same non-existant amount of titles, although Melo and Amare never quit on their respective teams in the playoffs, unlike Lebron
2/27/2011 11:48:39 PM
you are a weird guy
2/28/2011 12:30:24 AM
maybeor maybe i just watch the NBA and base my decisions of players on watching the games, instead of over-analyzing efficiency stats?who knows
2/28/2011 12:47:01 AM
I guess I just dont get the point of making up fake arguments and then arguing against them.Carmelo is a scorer not a scrub, I've certainly never argued that. He's not an elite basketball player though obviously. Now if a true elite player like Dwight Howard or Chris Paul joins the NY Knicks then we can talk about them being contenders. Although, Chauncey is still pretty good and they aren't contenders right now so obviously Dwight would improve them more than CPIII would.
2/28/2011 1:00:11 AM
2/28/2011 1:18:28 AM
I meant elite compared to NBA basketball players. Obviously, compared to the human population he would be considered elite. In the NBA he's certainly a good player. Just nowhere close to a dominant player like Lebron, Howard, CPIII, etc. He's worth about 2 wins more than Gallinari and Billups is worth about 2 more wins than Felton and Turiaf is worth about 2 more wins than that awful Russian so yeah they got better. But they were a borderline .500 team that is now about equivalent to a 50 win team.In other words, they're on par with the Hawks. Great.
2/28/2011 1:29:23 AM
yet some how tonight he was instrumental in beating one of the top teams in the leaguei guess you just wont be able to appreciate how good of a player he is until he is more about FG% than winning bball games, oh well Dangle
2/28/2011 2:49:53 AM
billups was the steal
2/28/2011 8:08:51 AM
2/28/2011 5:13:05 PM
nice comeback by the Hawks tonight against the Bulls, without Josh Smith. Al Horford made Boozer his bitch. one question - "WHOOOO LET THE HAWKS OUT?? CAW! CAW, CAW!!!!" i'm sure they'll still end up with a 2nd round exit, like the past two years, but they def look better defensively with Hinrich vs. Bibby.
3/2/2011 9:54:44 PM
I'm gonna get flood control trying to keep up with the heat

The funny of ^ has passed....long, long ago.
3/17/2011 9:13:39 AM
No surprise here, the knicks aren't any better with carmelo and the nuggets are actually better off without him.The most overrated player in the NBA by far. He's not even on a "star" level yet he's considered a superstar.Basketball is a sport where the average fan just has no clue what's going on
3/18/2011 1:25:20 PM
Wait, where are the Carmelo fans. I thought Nene sucked, how come he's dominating now that Melo is gone? Why are the Nuggets better and the Knicks not? I need someone to explain this for me. Oh here's the reason...
3/23/2011 1:39:58 AM
3/30/2011 9:09:11 AM
^Give it up.
3/30/2011 9:23:32 AM
