Broke was good, but it wasn't amazing like some have been. Wouldn't really watch again. The fact that it was pretty much all talking heads with a few photos added for emphasis limited it a bit.

Yeah the story wasn't in depth enough to be considered a great episode but it was still really watchable and interesting. Definitely not as compelling as a classic documentary like the fab five, gretzky, or some of there other work. Still really looking forward to this years lineup

Andre Rison looks to be exactly the same type of athlete that they were detailing out throughout the film.

bttt for 9.79*. Pretty good so far. Music even sounds 80s like and sets the tone.[Edited on October 9, 2012 at 8:52 PM. Reason : ]

Just watched Benji.... sad story. But I'm not sure how to feel. The shooters certainly sound like up to no good gangbangers, but Benji also seemed to have anger/attitude issues, so either story sounds plausible (not that those kids were legally carrying and legally used lethal force; I'm guessing no for both).
10/31/2012 10:56:57 AM
Yeah, anger/attitude issuesDefinitely deserved to be murdered in the street
10/31/2012 11:10:28 AM
Ghosts of Ole Miss was really well done. I really like Wright Thompson as a narrator. He also did the Roll Tide/War Eagle film.

Just in time for our 2012-2013 NCAA Title run, it's all coming together ...

I got a sweet deal (like $20) for the first 30 for 30 set on Blu Ray, but I have not even taken off the plastic. That is some serious time commitment to watch them all. If I start traveling again for work or something, then I could probably make it through the set on the plane. I've seen about 5 or 6 of them and all were very good. My favorite was probably the two Escobars.[Edited on October 31, 2012 at 1:46 PM. Reason : yu]

Plus, the narrator grew up in Mississippi, but went to Missouri for college.

For some reason, I don't see all the episodes listed on Netflix. I thought Netflix supposed to have all the episodes.
12/10/2012 10:25:26 PM

12/12/2012 3:53:41 AM
Bump for the screening at Reynolds tonight.
3/11/2013 3:24:39 PM
Double bump. Awesome film. Had about 7 guys from the '83 team in attendance as well as Jimmy V's widow and John Saunders from ESPN. Great look at the '83 run, V's exit from NCSU and his battle with cancer. The PR gets some nice publicity in this as well. Make sure you have your DVR set for Sunday night, hopefully after an ACC-T championship.
3/11/2013 9:45:28 PM
that was AWESOME. definitely cant wait to see it again.
3/11/2013 10:07:22 PM

loved it... imo they did a nice job of weaving all of the different pieces of the story together. When the athletic scandal came up I was nervous that they were including it..BUT it was nicely done -and I won't give any spoilers- but they had the right speakers to explain what happened.I saw Gottfried at the showing but not the men's team... did anyone else see them there? Hoping they watch this before the ACCT!
3/12/2013 6:48:15 AM

This ones been kinda meh so far
4/23/2013 9:13:53 PM
yeah I'd call this one interesting but not anything phenomenal. The tone of this one should probably been more upbeat and fun. The dour music and serious attitudes are kinda dragging it down.
4/23/2013 9:15:56 PM
Its a fucking bore
4/23/2013 9:22:38 PM
I was really looking forward to this one. But it's about to put me to sleep. One of the worst ones yet.
4/23/2013 9:29:14 PM
maybe if they added some dubstep...
4/23/2013 9:31:23 PM
I will say something about the draft should really be more fun than this. The draft is great, no need to make it some serious subject.
4/23/2013 9:31:47 PM
It was cool how the recreated the draft room. My how things have changed. Lets get RAMbunctious!

Bernie and Ernie. 2nd worst 30 for 30. Borrrrring.

yeah, they were definitely desperate for topicshell might as well do a Fire & Ice documentary. I'm sure Monroe had a racial slur thrown at him once in his life and Corchiani is first movie
