fuck the redsksins! san diego county and the dc metro area are the only places in the country stuck with a totally meaningless game instead of eagles/cowboys or packers/cardinals this afternoon.
1/3/2010 10:43:53 AM
^ As a huge Chargers fan, I looked at that game and puked. Who the heck cares?
1/3/2010 11:27:43 AM

^ yea...saw that one comingwonder who they'll sucker into coming in there this time.
1/4/2010 10:59:00 AM
Shanahan. And then he will let Campbell go and draft Bradford with our #1 pick. We will continue to suck.
1/4/2010 11:11:36 AM
until there's an OL, we'll continue to suck no matter who the QB isthey need to trade away the 1st rounder for a bunch of low rounders, draft a bunch of big guys, and shuttle them back and forth between redskins park and a buffet for the next 8 months
1/4/2010 11:15:20 AM
^ I 100% agree, but that's not what's going to happen.
1/4/2010 11:49:27 AM
Shanahan it is!http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4799532
1/5/2010 9:42:19 PM
It's better than giving any control over football decisions to Snyder.... because it's worked out sooooooo well in the past
1/5/2010 9:56:35 PM
Redskins.... Champions of the off season. Attn: Mike Shanahan. John Elway is not walking through that door.
1/5/2010 10:01:07 PM
Well no, I didn't mean Snyder. I would rather see BRUCE Allen have control over player personnel instead of giving Shanahan full control, which got him into some trouble in Denver, and since, ya know, that was BRUCE Allen's job in Tampa and Oakland.Anyhow, I think it's as good of a hire as the Redskins could make.[Edited on January 5, 2010 at 10:14 PM. Reason : fuck you both]
1/5/2010 10:08:04 PM
Who is this Ben Allen you speak of?

oh god i hope we make a blockbuster trade for cutlerfucker
1/5/2010 10:13:44 PM
The red snapper is a tarhole
1/5/2010 10:14:12 PM
1/5/2010 10:14:36 PM
When I'm not snapping balls, I snap necks.
1/6/2010 10:52:41 AM
oh man, i don't think i could ever read that Ethan Albright letter to john madden and NOT laugh my ass off.My thoughts on shanahan hire: Anything is better than Zorn. It started becoming increasingly apparent that Zorn was WELL in over his head.
1/6/2010 11:31:40 AM
Kyle Shanahan (his son) is coming on as the offensive coordinator...
1/6/2010 2:52:26 PM
so im curious....do we really need sam bradford?cant we trade our pick for two picks or whatever and get a qb later and some oline help???this isnt exactly a big qb draft....though everyone is bobbing tebow's, mccoys and bradfords knob
1/6/2010 4:41:01 PM
i thought possibly signing a free agent QB, but the best available is Jason Campbell
1/6/2010 4:53:27 PM
No way in hell should we draft a qb in the first round. We can't even protect an athletic qb. How long till bradfords shoulder is buried in the turf again and he's done for the year(career)?
1/6/2010 6:44:15 PM
I don't think Campbell is our answer at QB...BUT...we won't have an answer at QB UNTIL we shore up our offensive line. Tom Brady would have a tough time putting up good numbers behind our line. So, i think we need to go after some linemen heavily in this draft.
1/6/2010 8:01:19 PM
so trade the number 5 or take a lineman?
1/6/2010 8:19:06 PM
whats the longest in Campbell's pro career that he has played consecutively for the same offensive coordinator
1/6/2010 8:23:06 PM
2years
1/6/2010 9:28:07 PM
And that was probably the exception right? I don't think Campbell is any kind of Drew Brees in waiting but he was a helluva leader in Auburn...I think he could be a solid NFL QB if he actually had a few years of consistency as far as head coaches, offensive coordinators, QB coaches, etc...but turnover is part of the league too, so who knows.
1/6/2010 9:32:16 PM
I agree. I think JC could be a solid qb in the NFL and I'm willing to give him a chance with a healthy Oline, a stud RB(someone not named Portis) and a possession WR. Not to mention a Ocord that knows how to use him and make decent play calls.Fix the oline in the off season. Hope Malcom Kelly and Devin Thomas develop, take some heat off Moss. Fred Davis looks like he's ready to play. Keep Cooley, run 2 TE set. Clean house at CB. Keep Landry, but teach him how to TACKLE! Not every play is a sportscenter knockout.
1/6/2010 9:43:09 PM
could anyone with espn insider post the story about the redskins and tebow, please!
3/21/2010 2:36:51 PM
we need an **** OFFICIAL 2010 WASHINGTON REDSKINS: THE MARCH TO .500 **** thread
3/21/2010 5:13:14 PM
Way to go skins this was a helluva move to sign this guy! That would be dumb if they signed Tebow as well Go Eagles!
3/21/2010 5:19:49 PM
THE WASHINGTON REDSKINS ARE GOING TO WIN A MEANINGLESS WEEK 17 GAME.[Edited on March 21, 2010 at 5:25 PM. Reason : less fail]

4/4/2010 8:28:39 PM
its not 09 anymore idiot
4/4/2010 8:50:25 PM
hahahahahahait is good to know that given a new gm and coach, the redskins are still the sameoh wait i root for the redskins
4/4/2010 8:58:40 PM
you think they are better off with Campbell at the helm? or possibly sticking a rookie qb in there? this trade is awesome...we got a 6x pro bowler....who has atleast 4-5 more years in him left...Remember Sonny Jurgeson?
4/4/2010 11:42:24 PM
^i think campbell was coming along very wellskins have MUCH bigger need at rb, especially if portis cant get/stay healthy.mcnabb is an upgrade from campbell, but not nearly enough of one to solve other offensive issues.i assume campbell is now being shopped?
4/4/2010 11:45:09 PM
^bigger need at RB? we have willie parker, portis and larry johnson now.and campbell was not coming along fine. He was downright terrible......slow in his decision making, accuracy not always there, didn't really have a feel for the game.
4/5/2010 7:06:38 AM
He's streaky, but when McNabb is hot, he's one of the best in the league.^^He's a HUGE upgrade over Campbell.
4/5/2010 7:41:39 AM
i think campbell was mainly drafted because he is very religious, and that's important to joe gibbs. campbell just seems a bit too slow to play QB, and doesn't show emotion. he seems like a nice guy which is why no skins fans hate him, but he's just not good at playing QB in the NFL. if we can get a couple seasons out of mcnabb i'll be happy. and if not, who cares? we haven't had a good QB for 20 years, so what else is new.
4/5/2010 9:12:52 AM
hmm i see that the skins only traded at most a 2nd (2010) and 3rd (2011) pick for mcnabb. this is less a bad deal than i initially assumed.still, putting in oldy o'knees at qb seems like a recipe for a brunnell-scale failurei just hope they can trade that #4 overall down for a couple picks to spend on o linemen
4/5/2010 9:33:41 AM
4/5/2010 9:50:17 AM
this is hopefully smart if he can gap the year between bringing in a rookie from this years class to learn under.
4/5/2010 9:53:14 AM
^^yeai had actually missed the willie parker news, but stillnow we have 3 rb's instead of only 2 who could either be excellent or all miss half the season
