You are aware of the playoff standing correct?Oh wait that's right, you're just a troll.

I'm just following your boy bdmazur's lead from the Redskins threadI do notice, however, by calling me a troll you somehow manage to completely dodge talking about your team and Brandon Jacobs at all. I'll be back with nails for that coffin after the Cowboy game.
12/27/2009 7:53:54 PM
I'm not sure I follow your bdmazur comment...And again, why would I want to have a football discussion with someone on TWW least of all an unknown like you? Are you going to school me with your knowledge of player ratings? I can tell you it would change my life for sure! Please go ahead and post all of your NFL facts so I may learn from them. Your knowledge of the team I've been following for over two decades is clearly vastly superior to mine, and I value it greatly. Now please spend your time wisely and post things for me to read.

so what do we have to look forward to in the off-season? any predictions? players/coaches dismissals or acquisitions?Sheridan is already fired and rumor has it more coaches are on the chopping block, including Gilbride. personally, i think he needs to go too. there were a lot of boneheaded offensive decisions this season that left a sour taste in my mouth as well as many other fans'. as for players, i'm not sure who needs to go but i do know that those who were injured, esp late in the season, need to get strong for next season to be dependable. also, IMO Coughlin needs to get back to being a hard-ass. he got too soft on these guys and let them get away with sloppy playing. all-in-all tho, there needs to be a good amount of changes for the G-men to get back to being a respectable football team.

Bernard and Robbins (unless he takes a big pay cut) need to go. Bernard is so fat he seems to be unable to control his own body at times. $4 million a year was a fucking joke when we signed him and it remains a joke today. Our D-Line rotation should include Tuck and Canty at DT (with Cofield/Alford/rookie or FA to spell), Kiwi at LE, Osi at RE (with Tollefson/rookie or FA to spell). Mike Waufle was fired so maybe the new guy will recognize the retarded amount of talent on the D-Line and wake those motherfuckers up.Sintim should be roaming around blitzing the fuck out of the QB (think LT) on almost every play.Boley seems like a solid LB and is good in coverage. I have no idea what's up with Antonio Pierce, and without actually being at practice and in meetings and in the locker room, I'm not real sure what we should do with him (though he certainly has been underperforming). I've heard he is not your ideal team leader, so depending on how bad he is in that department...maybe a trade? What could we get for him? How would the other vets feel about that? I'm not so sure that's the best idea though. Gerris Wilkinson has overstayed his welcome IMHO.We can't possibly drop everyone in our defensive backfield (as I have wanted to do at some points during the season), so I'm just going to assume that Sheridan was the reason for the decline in these guys' performance from last year and the year before. Thomas has been improving I think, and Webster and Ross are still the same players they were last year. Dockery has to go. I say keep Bruce Johnson around for another year and see what he develops into. He made some major mental errors this year but I think with some solid coaching he has the toughness and playing style to be an effective player for us. I like a corner that will hit somebody.C.C. Brown should ONLY be in the game for surefire running situations, and only because we have nobody other than Kenny Phillips at safety. Sha'reff Rashad was impressing in camp, so I think he should get another year to prove himself (although you would think he would've been able to make it off the practice squad before week 17 this year with the way the safeties were performing...not to mention we SIGNED Aaron Rouse when we had Rashad already on the team, so maybe he needs a little more time). I am tired of seeing Michael Johnson getting beaten, he should be gone. Rouse too unless the coaches think he's going to develop or whatever. I don't see it so far.The O-Line needs something though I'm not quite sure what...McKenzie is too fragile and should be bounced in favor of Beatty (let's get a draft pick or two for him). I wish a big time left tackle would fall in our laps, but I'm not sure how likely that is. I love Diehl, but he's not quite what we need over there.Boss is a good TE, but we need somebody with some speed and agility at the position. Beckum has been surprisingly nonexistent this year. Is Darcy Johnson a good enough blocer to stick around? And Scott Chandler and Bear Pascoe...who the fuck are they?It remains to be seen if this year really was a product of injuries for Brandon Jacobs, or if he's suddenly turned into a 40 year-old man. Bradshaw is a beast. Enough said. I like Danny Ware and if Jacobs is fine for next I think we're good at this position for next season. I'm very interested to see Andre Brown get healthy as well. And hey maybe Mark Ingram will fall to us in the draft! I think we are good at wide receiver. I think Nicks is going to be special, Manningham flashes brilliance (stop fumbling, asshole), and Smith needs no introduction anymore. I think Hagan (who's nice on Special Teams) and Barden could develop and give us a couple of big guys we can just toss the ball up to. Hey, Sinorice Moss...see ya later!Eli had a career year at QB and there's not going to be any changes made there.Did I forget anything?Maybe we can trade Osi (if he's going to keep crying) and get Suh or Berry...not going to happen but that could be badass. What do you guys think about Terrence Cody? Russell Okung / Trent Williams? Brandon Spikes? ...Leigh Tiffin/Zoltan Mesko?

That does seem like a lot, but I'd like to compare it to injuries on other teams. I feel like every NFL team has a decent number of injuries every year. The Giants could have more...but they could also be average as well.
1/14/2010 12:29:15 PM
yeah dude i'm surprised that you're shocked about these injuriesespecially since you're a State fan. shit happens, football is a rough game. i guess you want to fire NCSUs S&C coach too?
1/14/2010 12:31:09 PM
I'm not a State fan.Also,
1/14/2010 2:00:30 PM
I just feel like every fan rambles about injuries when the team isn't doing well. It also seems like every team has a lot of in injuries every year (I feel like San Diego has a ton of injuries every year...there could probably be a similar article written about them)....not just the losing teams.People always like to point fingers when a team isn't doing well. I just don't think the Giant's injury problems are any different than the other 31 teams in the league.

^ Yeah I don't think either one of us has ever even addressed the other in a single post in our TWW histories, nor do I have the first clue who you are, so I'm just going to continue ignoring the sports talk trolls. Also, please feel free to email the author of the article about "whining about injuries," as I have clearly neither agreed nor disagreed with him. My opinion that the Giants need a new strength and conditioning coach can hardly be spun as "whining," even by a bunch of "experts" like you guys.Have a nice day![Edited on January 14, 2010 at 10:06 PM. Those start of the season numbers vs. end of the season numbers are ridiculous. If we can only hold it together long enough

^^^Quit crying. I'm just saying that I don't think the Giants' injury bug is worse than any other team. That's just my opinion. I could be wrong, but I think if you analyzed every other team's injury issues...the Giants would be right in the middle of the pack...MAYBE towards the top of the pack, but nothing as bad as that writer or you are making it out ot be.
1/15/2010 12:26:39 PM
Lets see Eli go out for the season and David Carr come in to be your starting QB...then you can complain
