honestly, grammar is overrated.

I didn't really think Holly's moving made sense. They made her move because she was dating Michael, but the result was that they weren't dating anymore. So, she could have stayed in Scranton and just broken up with him. Oh well, I didn't really like Holly anyways. The redeeming parts of this show were the Joker costumes and the Dwight/Andy conflict. It's reminiscent of the times of the Jim/Dwight pranks.[Edited on October 30, 2008 at 10:15 PM. Reason : ]

the Cornell stuff is great. Jim's brothers are real assholes.....

Stanley's mask....priceless...."THAT'S A BIG RED BEAR! GOD!"
10/31/2008 7:57:26 AM
I though the first two minutes were greatThe subsequent 28 sucked
10/31/2008 9:25:28 AM
The Joker stuff was great, the Dwight vs. Andy stuff was great, the whole Michael thing sucked.
10/31/2008 9:35:35 AM
10/31/2008 10:33:55 AM
i thought the Dwight/Andy stuff was great. I just wished Dwight did it for more than one day.
10/31/2008 10:49:22 AM
dwight/andy - goodhalloween - goodmichael/holly - glad to see it end they ran that further than they needed topam/jim - ive been tired of that for a long time
10/31/2008 11:20:51 AM
Damn. Holly had become my favorite character. No way this is over, though.

I wasn't a fan of the thing with Pam and Jim's brothers, but that may be related to her having the same major as me Creed makes a scary joker and I love love love Andy trying to eat the beet. I'm sad Angela wasn't involved anywhere in there besides a disapproving look.
10/31/2008 11:39:08 AM
-you're supposed to cook these aren't you..*chomp*Michael brings enough awkward to the show without needing to bring in douche characters like Jim's brothers.
10/31/2008 11:46:38 AM
life is a highway!! i wanna ride it all night long!
10/31/2008 12:45:02 PM

Great episode except the Pam/Jim storyline. The Cornell bit reminded me of when Steve and Brian from the Sarah Silverman Program kept arguing who was the biggest TaB fan.

10/31/2008 2:46:23 PM
I also agree, I wish the halloween plot had been explored more
10/31/2008 2:59:42 PM
Before he said anything I thought Ryan was supposed to be Bill Lumbergh.
10/31/2008 5:04:44 PM
I am ok with them not going further with the Halloween, it was just enough to make it a great opener. I think it would have been funny to continue, but I also feel like 75% of the episodes are based around office parties/events, so it was nice to see them touch apon but mostly skip over one for a change.
10/31/2008 5:09:18 PM
i was rolling when darryl was doing the blues thing and michael said "That's a beautiful song."hahahahaha

that is when that relationship is at its bestwhen dwight takes the most unrealistic situation extremely serious
11/6/2008 10:36:43 PM
^^ Time Warner
11/6/2008 10:38:45 PM
my picture was scrambled some during The Office and 30 Rock too. I thought it was my tuner (i use Clear QAM). Good episode. I thought the bluetooth thing was a bit ridiculous at first, but i think they handled it pretty well.
11/6/2008 10:46:03 PM
my tv screwed up too so I'm glad it was everyone instead of my box
11/6/2008 11:00:54 PM
scrambled here too
11/6/2008 11:02:27 PM
Yup, also got scrambled, but great episode
11/6/2008 11:09:20 PM
man this might be the only time Charter has outperformed time warner Normally everything about my cable service is worse than time warner haha
11/6/2008 11:13:22 PM
great episode.. the fact that it was directed by Stephen Merchant probably helped
11/6/2008 11:51:36 PM
oh yeah, one thing - last season they said Pam was going away to NYC for 3 months, and she left in June or so (as shown during the first episode of the season, when they took us all the way through the summer week-by-week). then last week, they showed they were still in real-time with the Halloween episode, including showing Pam in NYC in her costumethen this week, they reiterated that Pam was still in NYC for only 3 months..... but she's pushing 5 months at this point. oh well, i guess it's hard trying to stay in real-time when the storylines have to move at different paces in the show
11/7/2008 12:03:55 AM
It was even scrambled over the air. I had a bit of success by changing the channel from 17-1 (HD) to 17-2 (SD) whenever it started acting up.
11/7/2008 7:08:50 AM
Is there a reason why 17-1 is unavailable on the basic cable line? Mine apparently has disappeared within the last few weeks. The only HD channels I can get that way are 5-1, 4-1, and...well, shit I think that's it.
