Countdown until this team of homosexuals quits treating the NFL like it's e! Entertainment and grow a pairIt's like watchin wwe I'm glad its over unfortunately espn will never shut up bout these queers
12/28/2008 11:18:38 PM
Tony Homo is such a loser.
12/29/2008 1:25:31 AM
Once again I really don't see how anyone doesn't like Romo.....He choked today, yes, but he is one of the best guys in the NFL.Hate on bigmouths or troublemakers T.O., Pacman, or Roy E. Williams, but Romo doesn't deserve it.
12/29/2008 1:32:48 AM
Romo gets the hate because he failed as a leader and, thus, is most responsible for the loss. This is a public education in leadership for him. All the young QBs -- eli, rivers, cutler -- are going through a similar education. The bottom line is that is that QBs are responsible for keeping a team together, and Romo didn't with his womanly approach. The rest of america loves winners and hates losers, so it makes perfect sense that Romo is held accountable for lack of leadership.[Edited on December 29, 2008 at 1:45 AM. I'll be the first to admit that fault from the game lays on him today.....but I still don't get the hate.Does he fumble every time he gets hit??? This and his lacking play in the clutch are his main two faults.
12/29/2008 1:49:10 AM
People hate the Cowboys and he's one of the faces of the CowboysPlus he gets touted as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, yet he can't seem to win a game after November]
12/29/2008 2:21:56 AM
It's not just Tony Homo, It's the whole make up if the Cowgirls that is fucked. In my opinion they mirror that POS owner. I am by no means an eagles fan, but I couldn't have been happier to see them make the Cowboys their bitch yesterday.
12/29/2008 9:27:42 AM
Chris Carter, when asked where he would start the 'rebuilding' in Dallas, said that TO would be the first to guy, at one point even saying, "I have a bullet with his name on it" Wonder how he really feels

from now on...when a team comes in predicted to win it all and doesn't deliver, they are not that sport's Peyton Manningthey are it's Tony Romo

at least Manning makes the playoffs and wins playoff games
12/29/2008 11:44:01 AM
and has led some of the greatest comebacks ever, and has carried an offense with no running game and a patchwork O-line all year, and makes all players around him better and will go down at the greatest QB of all time baring injury and has won a Superbowl
12/29/2008 11:46:16 AM
12/29/2008 11:48:32 AM
Peyton is gonna add another playoff choke to his resume on Saturday night when he comes to San Diego.
12/29/2008 11:51:19 AM
peyton doesn't read tdub jaybee, so you can get your lips off his ass
12/29/2008 11:55:21 AM
^^^ not at all, its not like I am saying that Jamal Lewis is the greatest RB ever. Baring some injury or weird Barry Sanders early retirement, Manning will blow away all the records, including the total victories by a QB. The only thing that people said was holding him back (which I didnt agree with) was not winning a Super Bowl and that has now been taken care of...^ just responding to your boy who brought it up first[Edited on December 29, 2008 at 11:56 AM. Reason : d]
12/29/2008 11:56:29 AM
Yeah, Bob Sanders won him a superbowl a few years ago and now he's assured of going down as one of the best ever. But Brady's resume is just as impressive up to this point, and he has been much better in the playoffs when everything is on the line.
12/29/2008 11:58:37 AM
ah, so if Manning wins its that stellar, all-pro defense hes always had around him and not him at all, but if Brady wins its just Brady and not that horrible horrible New England defense... your logic is infallibleYou are such a fucking retard.and I KNEW this would happen, I called it on here "Ok, you dumbshits claim that Peyton not winning a super bowl is what will keep him from being the greatest, but as SOON as he does, you will claim he now needs two, and then three, and so on and so on" Trent Dilfer > Marino!!![Edited on December 29, 2008 at 12:06 PM. HmmmThe stats don't lie. Brady has been better when it counts.Peyton Manning's lifetime playoff stats throwing to Marvin Harrison, Wayne, Clark, and Edge/Addai:21 TD's, 17 INTTom Brady's lifetime playoff stats throwing mostly to David Givens, David Patten, Deion Branch, Reche Caldwell, and Jabar Gaffney:25 TD's, 12 INT Manning's postseason record: 7-7Manning's postseason passer rating: 84.4Manning's postseason comp%: 61.8Manning's posteason opponents' winning percentage (regular season): .728Brady's postseason record: 14-2Brady's postseason passer rating: 88.5Brady's posteason comp%: 62.7Brady's postseason opponent's winning percentage (regular season): .779So, to summarize the above numbers.... Brady has put up better numbers, against better competition, and has won far more often. Only the clueless would even hesitate to say that Brady is the better postseason quarterback.
12/29/2008 12:07:15 PM
using wins as a stat to compare qb success is horrendously flawed
12/29/2008 12:09:16 PM
Well say all you want about Manning - The biggest poster boy for can't get it done when it counts is Tony Homo and the Dallas Cowgirls. Manning has won a super bowl...Romo hasn't even been able to win a playoff game. No comparison, end of discussion.
12/29/2008 12:11:58 PM
^^ exactly (see point 6 below)1. no one said anything about a better post season QB, we said BEST QB, but that isnt important2. Does brady have a better team and thus won more? sure, no doubt, the colts have had a shitty defense for most of Mannings time there3. You were insinuating that Manning had better receivers than Brady, well, I counter that they were better because of Manning. All players that dominated with Manning have dropped off after leaving. Stokley, Rhodes, Edge, Pollard etc. Manning is what made them that good (along with their own talent).4. Bradys best year (by far, not even close) was when he got Moss, Welker, and Stalworth so your point doesnt count anyways.5. If you have a good defense you dont have to do as much on offense, see point 2 above and would easily explain the very very small difference in these stats:Manning's postseason passer rating: 84.4Manning's postseason comp%: 61.8Brady's postseason passer rating: 88.5Brady's posteason comp%: 62.76. Your forgot to mention the "choke" by the Pats last year, at least as big as a choke as Manning has ever hadDo I think Brady is good? of course, hes really really good, easily one of the best of all time. But I think Manning is just as good, if not better, and I have NO doubt that if he had the Pats defense over the last 6 or so years that he would have won just as many Super Bowls as Brady if not more. If you think Manning has been "holding the poor Colts back from multiple super bowl victories" then you are a dumb bastard[Edited on December 29, 2008 at 12:16 PM. Reason : f]
12/29/2008 12:13:32 PM
man i dont care about this lame argument i just came here to talk more shit about the cowboys
12/29/2008 12:24:36 PM
Fire in the hole........Brady is no Favre
12/29/2008 12:26:13 PM
LOL at Redskins fans once again in this thread trolling when their team fell apart more than the Cowboys and their owner is 10x worse than Jerry Jones.Do we have to debate Brady vs Manning? You claim Brady's numbers are better and the actual stats aren't much better.....Completion % and rating are nearly the same. In addition to his defense sucking mostly, I also hate the Colts WRs make Manning argument too.
12/29/2008 1:05:25 PM
Joe Montana will go down as a better QB than Peytononly the biggest Tennessee homer and non-objective football fan would argue that
12/29/2008 3:34:35 PM
so you are telling me if Peyton ends up with much better stats and the same number of super bowls you would consider Montana better? Hell, I dont even know if he needs to match him in Super Bowls because that is a team accomplishment, not a player... its not like Roger Craig is considered the best RB ever
12/29/2008 4:41:49 PM
Who would you rather have on the final game winning drive? That determines who is the best QB. Also, we are missing the point of this thread.
12/29/2008 4:55:00 PM
^ dumb. What if another QB makes it where you dont even have to worry about the game winning drive? and either way, didnt Manning lead the biggest 4th quarter comeback ever?
12/29/2008 4:58:54 PM
thread over, just like the cowgirls season

So i guess technically this thread should be retitled*2008-09 Dallas Cowboys Thread*since they didnt even make it to 2009 hehe
1/1/2009 12:54:24 PM
I'm a huge cowboys fan..watched the game at a bar and it was too depressing I guess it's time to put my jersey back up till next season
1/1/2009 12:54:58 PM
Just think of the drama for the Cowgirls when they get that piece of shit Vick on their Roster next year
1/1/2009 1:53:49 PM
but they have Romowait...
1/1/2009 7:08:56 PM
pacman is gone
1/7/2009 7:59:47 PM
First smart move they have made all season.....Now trade 1) T.O. and 2) Roy E. Williams and then they could have a chance.
1/7/2009 8:00:57 PM
- only trade T.O. if you can get high draft picks (to draft a receiver with)- Find a CORNERBACK- get Felix Jones back healthy (amazing rookie who complements Barber perfectly)- Work EVERYDAY with Tony Romo (he has got to improve for this team to succeed)
1/8/2009 11:16:19 AM
1/8/2009 11:46:53 AM
