Definitely move Chris Brown to your do not add list...I personally add Vince Young, Willis McGahee, and Larry Johnson to my list...To many other good players at those positions to want one of those...
9/2/2008 1:59:38 PM
Who would you start?Mushin Muhammad or Vincent Jackson. Leaning towards Moose since Smitty is suspended...alsoRyan Grant (vs MIN) or DeAngelo Williams (vs SD).
9/2/2008 2:03:50 PM
Grant.
9/2/2008 2:11:23 PM
ok so here's my team. please analyze my picks.QB - RomoWR - Marques Colston, Wes WelkerRB - Portis, Michael TurnerTE - Antonio GatesK - GostkowskiDef - Panthers Bench - PRiv, Shockey, Lendale White, Kevin Curtis, Jabar Gafney, Donald DriverShould i start Driver this weekend over wes welker?
9/2/2008 2:21:09 PM
for page 6:
9/2/2008 2:24:55 PM
man, I thought for sure you would take that trade. Housh is only projected to score about 10 more points than Cotchery this year and Curtis is a top 25 WR once he comes back
9/2/2008 2:25:58 PM
I'm skeptical of Curtis' health this season
9/2/2008 2:33:17 PM
^^projections will get you in trouble....I prefer past performance, and as much as I like J cotch, he's gotta show me more before I give up a proven WR in a contract year.plus, I'm trying to drop a roster spot to open up a slot for a kicker
9/2/2008 2:39:01 PM
HAHAHAH same here (with the kicker)
9/2/2008 2:47:17 PM
Who should I start?WR (Pick 3): Welker, Marvin Harrison, Anthony Gonzalez, Patrick CraytonRB (Pick 3): AP, Grant, Michael Turner, Ricky WilliamsQB: Cutler or Delhomme - some notable QB's I could pick up are Garcia, Warner, Campbell, Schaub
9/2/2008 2:47:46 PM
Welker, Harrison, CraytonAP, Turner, WilliamsI guess Cutler, although I would have to think hard about Warner[Edited on September 2, 2008 at 2:52 PM. Reason : d]

12 man league. My first money league. Should I start Chambers against Carolina or Stallworth against Dallas?QB:B RoethlisbergerP RiversRB:J LewisL TomlinsonChris JohnsonWR:C ChambersR WilliamsT.J. HoushmandzadehD' StallworthJerry PorterTEJ ShockeyK BossKickerP DawsonDefJaguars
9/2/2008 3:08:21 PM
Chambers, not even close
9/2/2008 3:12:50 PM
My squad I drafted on monday and I had the 10th pick in a 10 man league. I think my team is pretty well rounded all things considered.QB:Derek Anderson Jon KitnaWR:Chad Johnson Randy Moss Santonio Holmes Derrick Mason Devin Hester (get points for return yards and touchdowns)Ted Ginn Jr.RB:Clinton Portis Jamal Lewis Edgerrin James Justin Fargas TE:Chris Cooley Greg Olsen Def:Indy[Edited on September 2, 2008 at 4:22 PM. 9/2/2008 4:21:59 PM
Congrats, you got the 2 most unpredictable QB's in the league. They are just as likely to throw 4 interceptions as 4 touchdowns, and there's no telling when they are gonna lay a turd. Good luck with those 2.
9/2/2008 4:34:04 PM
yea there was a fire sale on QB's quite early and I figured Anderson was a decent pick where I got him at. Picked up Kitna really really late as a back up. Hopefully I wont have to depend too much on them with the way the rest of my squad is lookingJ. Garcia is still available though. Should I scoop him up and drop say Ginn Jr? Or is that more of a lateral move. I figure Garcia is not going to go nuts as far as points are concerned but he is pretty consistent
9/2/2008 4:43:41 PM
I'd go for another backup RB. I wouldnt touch edge with a 10 foot pole.
9/2/2008 5:10:41 PM
Edge was just fine last year behind the shitty Arizona o-line
9/2/2008 5:16:09 PM
Well, he was one of the only backs to register 300 carries last year.Assuming the O-line is improved from last year, which would be impossible not to have gotten better...this year could be his swan song. I am going on the record as saying I actually like Edge as a 3rd RB and wouldn't be surprised at all to see him have an above average season.
9/2/2008 5:26:41 PM
his first year in Arizona was disappointing but last year he was ok...the 300 carries thing if anything shows he is durable...plus he's the starting RB and the goalline RB
9/2/2008 5:28:20 PM
I heard Edge was going to get 2/3 of his carries from last year and Hightower could get the goal line carries.
9/2/2008 5:51:29 PM
yeah, I would look around for another RB depending on how deep your league is and how many RBs start/size of bench and drop Olsen. You never ever ever need to carry two TEs outside of bye weeks
9/2/2008 5:54:36 PM
I started to think that my "gut" feeling for Edge must be wrong after the response here. ESPN's projections even had him with pretty solid numbers. The written outlook however verbalized most of my concerns better than I could
9/2/2008 7:44:25 PM
Cutler (v Oak)OR Kitna (v Atl)
9/2/2008 7:56:07 PM
cool deal thanks for the responses guysAhman green is still available so I'll probably scoop up himAlso availableDashaun FosterDominic RhodesKevin JonesAaron SteckerOut of those Green looks to be the best even though he will be in a RBBC situation. But Edge as a 3rd RB I kinda have the same feeling as Panthro does. The O-line HAS to have gotten better. [Edited on September 2, 2008 at 8:18 PM. Reason : edge]
9/2/2008 8:10:27 PM
compared to them keep Edge if you would have to drop him to pick up someone
9/2/2008 8:26:16 PM
^nah dont have to drop himI'll can drop olsen or one of the WR (Ginn jr) if need be
9/2/2008 8:30:59 PM
my draft starts in a little less than 30 mins...i have 5th pick in a 10 man league...whats the strategery? Addai? Brady? Moss? I'm expecting LT, AP, Jackson, Westbrook
9/2/2008 8:48:23 PM
Addai!come back and try to get Edwards/Colston/Romo/FitzYOU HAVE TO TAKE A TOP WR OR QB IN THE 2nd RD. Trust me.
9/2/2008 8:52:11 PM
I dont mean to sound like a homer, but I would hold onto Ginn Jr. for at least a week or two. The Dolphins are pretty high on him, he's their #1 receiver this year and their punt/kick returner. Plus, the Dolphins have a little bit better of a QB situation going into this season.I have a feeling that he could wind up being a solid #3 or even #2 WR this season.
9/2/2008 8:52:12 PM
^^noted, and i respect your opinion
9/2/2008 8:53:53 PM
^^Tr00I also liked him because of the return yards points
9/2/2008 8:55:47 PM
based on predrafts i might be able to snag romo in the 3rd
9/2/2008 8:57:53 PM
Here are my two money league teams - ones an 8 team league and the other is a 12 yeam league. I'm very happy with both teams, but I wanted to get everyone else's opinion12 Team League (6th pick)QB - Drew BreesWR - Braylon EdwardsWR - Anquan BoldinWR - Lee EvansRB - Joseph AddaiRB - Earnest GrahamTE - Jason WittenK - Mason CrosbyDEF - PittsburghBN - LenDale WhiteBN - Chris PerryBN - Reggie WilliamsBN - Jon KitnaBN - Felix JonesBN - Joshua Cribbs8 Team league (6th pick)QB - Ben RoethlisbergerWR - Braylon EdwardsWR - Marques ColstonWR - Greg JenningsRB - Brian WestbrookRB - Brandon JacobsTE - Jason WittenK - Rob BironasDEF - New EnglandBN - Thomas JonesBN - Brandon MarshallBN - Brett FavreBN - Ricky WilliamsBN - Reggie WilliamsBN - LenDale White

no way in hell.not at pick 3.5
9/2/2008 8:58:45 PM
10 man league it would be the 25th pick, he's predraft default at 26??
9/2/2008 9:00:07 PM
I don't think I've ever seen Romo last past the end of the 2nd in a 12 man, which is 24, so you certainly shouldn't expect it.
9/2/2008 9:03:01 PM
he still never lasts that long.good link for ADP'shttp://fantasyfootballcalculator.com/adp.php
9/2/2008 9:03:14 PM
i could probably get Peyton in the 2nd...TO maybe? I'd love to steal marshawn but i doubt itdont really want 2 colts for my first 2 picks though although it could be worse[Edited on September 2, 2008 at 9:10 PM. Reason : .]

love it.first 4 picks are studs.not sure what your format is, but if you start 3 wr's and 2 rb's, you should consider dropping a RB and adding one more WR14 rds is kinda odd...no backup QB either?overall, I love the draft, but you might want to focus more on WR and QB depth.
9/2/2008 10:17:25 PM
2 rbs, 2 wrs, 1 rb/wr1 point per reception, .5 point per completioni might need qb depth but hopefully just for one weekthe top players receivers available according to yahoo are:jerry porter, bryant johnson, derek mason, isaac bruce, reggie williams...ted ginn is also availabletop backs are norwood, kevin jones, betts...no thrills there eitherstill some good defenses out there if i want to drop green bay:baltimore, indy, tampa, philly, buffalo, carolinaany ideas?
9/2/2008 10:24:10 PM
So Roy Williams isn't projected to get too much love this week.So pick:Roy Williams @ ATLorDerrick Mason vs. Cin
9/2/2008 11:33:47 PM
over think alert
9/2/2008 11:37:28 PM
I forgot DeAngelo Hall was with Oakland now. Not as worried about it now.[Edited on September 3, 2008 at 9:26 AM. Reason : .]
9/3/2008 9:26:04 AM
Should I start:S. Young (@ Oak)W. McGahee (Cin)R. Williams (NyJ)McGahee's got a good match-up, but probably won't be 100%....I'm leaning Willilams to ride the wave from the preseason.
9/3/2008 9:33:57 AM
I think Selvin will surprise a lot of people this year, and especially this game against Oakland. With Marshall out, I expect Cutler to throw dump passes to Selvin early and often. If your league is a PPR, it's a no brainer, start Young.Even if it isn't, Selvin is the only one of those 3 who wont be in a ~50/50% split this week. (Ronnie should be fine for MIA, and McGahee is going to get a really light load.)I say start Selvin Young. - The Guru
9/3/2008 9:37:43 AM
guru plz work your magic for me:WR, start 2:torry holt @ phillysantonio holmes (houston)roddy white (detroit)laveranues coles (@miami)
9/3/2008 10:02:09 AM
Selvin might not be splitting 50/50, but it looks like he'll only get a couple carries more than Hall, and Hall is likely to get the red zone carries.
