offer him 15. heavy, still impractical, but I love how the 350 looks and its both reliable and comfortable. Definitely a good choice if you can get him to wiggle down on the price and its mostly or entirely stock.

drive one before buying it. the blindspot is similar to a blackhole. visibility is completely laughable. I enjoy the torque and brakes on it though

Special Edition eh? They must mean Shinka Package... There is a 40th anniversary edition though the interior looks ugly imo.

How much for that gas guzzler?

^^ Yes, it's a Shinka.

2005, $17,971, 46,266 miles

You want to know how badly they want to sell it?

The car is located in Goldsboro. They drove it here... just for me to test drive it.

^^^and your opinion on the car overall?

*sigh* I go both ways on the Rx8. It's a very nice car (not considering the drivetrain package). The reliability is the only thing that bothers me about that car. I'd use it as a DD, as long as I had 2nd car in case shit happens, which apparently, does quite frequently with this car. I know several rx8 owners and they all say the same thing. You've gotta pay to play, and this car isn't "cheap" to own.

Personally, I wouldn't buy a used rotary just because I'd rather have the piece of mind knowing that the engine was broken in properly. It may/may not matter at this point though.

If you do get it, I recommend running premix. A buddy of mine said a recent article tested the coverage of the oil injectors. Supposedly, it was reported that they still have issues covering the apex seals (only roughly 70-80% of the seals are covered) That means that roughly 20-30% of the seal is left unlubricated and eventually burn up, resulting in a blown engine. Again, this is info passed down to me from a rotorhead.

Things that are fast that wouldn't suck:

E46 330ci
Integra Type R
RSX Type S
Audi A4 Quattro SportLine
Mazda Miata
Honda S2000

I really enjoyed driving it. There were a few issues with the specific vehicle, but I told the salesman that they had to be addressed prior to me heading down to Goldsboro.

If I can get them to let me have it out the door for the sticker price (that's after fees) then I'll be set.

RX8 has easily one of the best chassis out there. Handling is superb. Not sure about those seals on rotary engine, but it is not a bad car by any means. Personally, I would put those $17k towards the downpayment on ugly ass 135i.

It is ugly, but in RL it looks somewhat ok, but only in black color, that hides lines well.

black on black, lowered...it could look ok. brakes overshadow any other bmw brakes including E60 M5.

Fucking car will actually fit, without modifications, 17" ROTORS. (yes, rotors, it's not a mistake)

http://tinyurl.com/5cdhyg

I actually never saw anything past 14.4" thats on RS4 I think

I've seen it in person at the NY auto show, and while I've heard from a lot of ppl that it looks better in person, me and my buddy disagreed.

Sure its not hideious, but I'd rather own a 1 yr old 335i than that 1 series turd.

if you want to ge pussy and speed and decent handling and nice interior get a fucking terminator car and be done with it. 03-04 cobra hard top or vert. then put $1000 in it and make 500 whp. imo the best car out of everything u listed.

if you get an rx8 make sure its already been in for warranty work on the motor. i did 3 of them when i worked at al smith, and other techs did many more. the motors suck, and the autos only have 185hp (i think) dont remember
