It's Reyes-mania at the top of the order...Our team full of Reyes' will rule the world...

Twin brother ReyesWe should sign Hugo Reyes from Lost to play left[Edited on July 12, 2008 at 5:34 PM. Reason : x]
7/12/2008 5:32:18 PM
hottest team in baseballwell in MLB baseball, since the Charlotte Knights have also won 7 straight
7/12/2008 5:35:01 PM
what happened to Pedro ?Out after 4 innings and under 70 pitchers
7/12/2008 5:47:26 PM
I'm watching on mlb.tv so i didnt have the sound up too loud, but I heard simply shoulder tightness... no one seems worried.
7/12/2008 5:57:26 PM
after this shitty first half, a W tomorrow and a phils L and we would be leading the NL lEast. Unbelievable
7/12/2008 10:42:34 PM
I just wish the All-Star break had already occurred. Hopefully this will carry over.
7/13/2008 9:46:13 PM
Most people thought Pelfrey was the best pitcher in that draft, that included Justin Verlander... his power sinking fastball is unreal... people compare it to Webb only with more left to right action... if he can keep improving his curve (and abandon the slider) and mix in a change he'll be a dominant ace...He is going to befun to watch for a long time...[Edited on July 13, 2008 at 10:26 PM. Reason : man, shea is electric these days..]
7/13/2008 10:25:24 PM
i've barely been watching this season, but he looked real good tonight.
7/13/2008 10:37:24 PM
He's pretty much matched Johan Santana the last 2 months... only Pelfrey has been getting run support.People probably forget how young some of these Mets players are since they have been around seemingly forever. Both Wright and Reyes are 25 (barely), Maine and Perez are 26 and 27 and Pelfrey is 24... He made his major league debut just 2 months in to his professional career...
7/13/2008 10:40:13 PM
they're in a good spot, for sure.
7/13/2008 10:43:41 PM
Fuck yeah, Wright![Edited on July 17, 2008 at 10:42 PM. Reason : and carlos^2 gives us the lead...]
7/17/2008 10:36:49 PM
Being tied for first would be niceI like how the Phillies countered our surge by trading for Joe Blanton todayHe was 5-12 with a 4.96 ERA pitching in one of the best pitchers parks in the leagueNow he goes to CBP lol
7/17/2008 10:52:50 PM
I didn't realize you jerkoffs had won 10 straight, congratulations. Can I mail you $25 in small change?
7/18/2008 12:20:19 PM
Not a great series, but 1st place nonetheless...
7/20/2008 4:55:48 PM
Why the fuck does this team HATE Santana...Absolute season killing loss.
7/22/2008 10:02:25 PM
Well, at least we get to face the triumphant return of Mr. Meyers tomorrow nightOn National TV no less
7/22/2008 10:09:35 PM
Yeah... but this is a brutal loss. I checked my phone to see the score after my exam and it 5-2 after 8... got home and threw on mlb.tv right as that chink fuck rapped another big hit against the Mets...Too bad Wagner is being a pussy before a Phils series again...
7/22/2008 10:11:32 PM
Ollie was brilliant... and Heilman got a big out.Now we need some offense.
7/24/2008 2:12:15 PM
Going to the game tonight against the Cards. Can't decide if I should wear my Yanks cap or not
7/26/2008 11:41:34 AM
Wow, I'm so glad I stayed till 1am to watch the Mets TIE the game only to promptly lose in the 14th inning (thank god I didn't pay for the tickets)
7/27/2008 4:31:34 AM
Don't act like that wasn't a great game...Plus, you got to see the second best shortstop in NYC play (behind A-Rod of course) a great game.btw, I didn't see the end... went out in the 13th...[Edited on July 27, 2008 at 11:43 AM. Reason : and there was nothing prompt bout tying in the 9th and losing in the 14th drunkard]
7/27/2008 11:43:17 AM
Pujols said that TKE-Teg wasn't good, he wasn't good at all
7/27/2008 11:56:54 AM
Hey I was just pissed they stop serving beer in the 7th inning. How gay is that? I mean, most people take the train home so why the concern for DUIs?Reyes did crank a NASTY 415 footer, thats for sure.
7/27/2008 1:36:53 PM
What's up with this Wilmer Flores kid? 16 year old that is dominating the Appy League... average age in that league is 20.He's a 6'3" 175 lb shortstop. In 32 games he has ~20 xbh and 7 HRs with a .350 average.. He leads the league in pretty much every offensive category.
7/27/2008 11:14:17 PM
Santana must have fucked every reliever's wifeIts the only possible explanation for what has happened this year
8/2/2008 10:18:20 PM
heilman aint worth a fucki'd trade him for a roll of toilet paper at this point
8/2/2008 10:36:21 PM

8/2/2008 10:45:15 PM
Injuries are KILLING us right now. Of course no one could have realistically expected Pedro, El Duque or Alou to be giving us anything...but Church, Wagner and now Maine on the DL or going to it?Christ... nice sweep by the shitty Astros. On the plus side, we kept all our kids and Eddie Kunz pitched well today and I'm guessing Jon Niese will be up in place of Maine... we have a crazy young pitching staff...
8/3/2008 4:30:50 PM
Johan gets Santana'd* again [Edited on August 7, 2008 at 2:55 PM. Reason : * pitch brilliantly only to have the bullpen blow the lead]
8/7/2008 2:54:59 PM
The preseason over/under for Mets wins was 92.5I am convinced Heilman put a million dollars on the under
8/11/2008 6:04:17 PM
Phillies and Marlins lose = Mets take over number 1!I went to my first and probably last game at Shea last week against the Padres. Heilmen almost blew that one too.
8/15/2008 1:24:10 AM
http://www.nypost.com/seven/08172008/sports/mets/mets_sign_al_reyes_125313.htmCloser to my dream of a team full of Reyes'** Wagner is out for AT LEAST 3 more weeks so get ready for more Heilman-mania in the 9th...[Edited on August 20, 2008 at 4:01 PM. Reason : x]

Mets blow another late inning lead? I thought Santana wasn't pitching til tomorrow!
8/26/2008 11:50:30 PM
Well that was... just like every other game this year.Thank God we have Santana to pitch the day after debacles like this...[Edited on August 27, 2008 at 12:37 AM. Reason : x]
8/27/2008 12:36:45 AM
whats your email for paypal bitchtit?
8/27/2008 12:37:28 AM
I must say I hate the NL East. They get so much coverage for never winning anything. Pisses me off.
8/27/2008 12:56:03 AM
^ What the fuck division do you support? Other than the AL East, no division has as many WS wins in the past 15 years than the NL East. The AL East is the obviously the best with the Yankees, Red Sox, and Blue Jays, but the NL East had the Braves in 95, the Marlins in 97 and 01. Every other division has only had one time winners like the Cards, White Sox, D-backs, Angels, etc. You obviously know shit about baseball. Back to the Mets - nice game last night. Reyes is easily the gayest looking player in MLB and of course Wright is the gayest talking player in history.
8/27/2008 8:20:02 AM
i dont give a fuck how they look or talk.your squad of double A players have been out of this race for 2 months now
8/27/2008 9:18:32 AM
8/27/2008 10:13:11 AM
They talk about it so much because the last 2 years it's been the most consistently competitive division at the top...[Edited on August 27, 2008 at 11:11 AM. Reason : santana needs to earn that $$$ tonight]
8/27/2008 11:10:46 AM
for some reason i just laugh knowing that the Diamondbacks have won a WS, and the Marlins have won 2, and there are so many established teams that have been around for so long that either suck or havent won anything in 50+ years
8/27/2008 11:17:23 AM
^^^ what the fuck difference does it make that the Marlins came along in 1993. They still play in the same league as everyone else. You are just mad because whatever team you like St. Louis or whatever plays in a shit division (this year notwithstanding).[Edited on August 27, 2008 at 11:24 AM. Reason : df]
8/27/2008 11:24:17 AM
I'm a Twins fan and I'm not mad about anything...the AL Central is pretty decent btw...and please see my previous post about the reason I laughed at the Marlins...it has nothing to do with the strength of the NL Easthell the AFC South is the best division in the NFL and two of its teams are the Jags and the Texans[Edited on August 27, 2008 at 11:28 AM. Reason : .]
8/27/2008 11:26:35 AM
^ alright gotcha. Either way the AL East pwns the rest of MLB in the past two decades.
8/27/2008 11:28:50 AM
yeah cant really argue with that...Yanks, Bosox, Bluejays...and I wouldn't be completely shocked if the Rays won it all this year although I think Anaheim will probably beat the Cubs in the WS
8/27/2008 11:29:50 AM
Ok, other than the Marlins (they won in 03, not 01) no one in that division has done anything this century. Mets choke, Phillies choke, Braves suck now, and the Marlins are too cheap otherwise they would be on top. This division is just boring. I just think they should give credit to other divisions, but obviously there is more of a fan base supporting the NL East so they have to make them all happy.
