This may sound silly to you, but it works. Stick some short lengths of crayons straight into the screw holes on the shelf. Then, press the shelf against the wall--while keeping it level--and drill the holes directly into the marks.

Given the difficulty you're obviously having, it would probably be best to draw a straight, level line on the wall with a pencil first, and them make sure your three marks from the crayons in the shelf screw holes land on the line.

OK...so I was so annoyed I went to Lowes and bought an entirely new shelf.... this one is much easier to to cause it's the frame and then the shelf that slides into it. So I have nylon toggle anchors like this: I've read instructions but I'm still confused... Do I bend it so that it's long, stick it in the wall and does it automatically go back to having the wing like things?

when you put the screw in, it will catch the back of them and pull it up to the wall tight. yes you bend them out enough to stick the rear part in the hole.

Fold the nylon wings together and insert into the hole.
Tap the toggle with a hammer until flush with the wall.
Insert the black plastic wing opening tool into the opening and tap with hammer until you hear and feel the nylon wings pop open. (Don't lose this tool).
Insert screw into hole and tighten fully.

^^^^ I was going to suggest that, but I didn't want you to give up on the floating shelf. Sounds like you've got one that will be easier for you to work with.

As to the ED, I haven't had any problems yet--knock on wood (pun intended). If I ever do have this sort of problem, I don't think I'll be able to take pills. I took half of a Viagra once for "recreational purposes" and I got a headache so bad I didn't even want to fuck.

And, yes, I now understand that you're probably not supposed to break those pills in half. I just didn't want to be walking around with a boner all evening--knocking over lamps and shit.

Actually, if you Google "erectile dysfunction", you'll see a range of percentages mentioned. Everything from 1% of men, to 52% age 40-72.

And it seems like it's a mental as well as physical ailment (which can affect us at any age). Although it looks more prevalent in men who suffer from diabetes, heart problems, or simply... age.

Personally, it seems to be one of those ailments that is over-hyped (especially by the drug companies). Yes, it can be an issue with some men; no, it will not affect every mother-fucking one of us (like they suggest). If it were to happen once to me, I'm not going to go racing in demanding some pills. A regular basis, then I'll be talking with a doc. Don't worry about it.

well the reason I ask is because in our game against UVA last week, we (Arizona) had the ball and one of our guys passed it to another of our guys who immediately swatted the ball, and in doing so, UVA got it... The immediate reaction of the commentators was that it was a 'freshman mistake' implying that he didn't have to swat it...and I don't know where he was standing (which side of center court) but I'm assuming he was standing on the other side of the line because otherwise, he wouldn't have had to even think about it...?
