nothing much going on right now in Nags Head...just got back from lunch at Lone Cedar and the water was splashing over the road on the causeway. The wind is picking up but nothing too crazy.

some crazy wind up here in Norfolk today.

norfolk had NOTHING compared to the outer banks when it came to the wind. sustained 35-45 since yesterday morning, gusts over 60 all night.


but, we get it a couple times a year so it's no big deal.

Just the more reason to raise it. Higher chance of it happening every year it doesn't. I definitely don't want to pay for more sand to be put up against your home the next time something rolls through.
