it depends on how repentetent they are. I know of at least one that was excommunicated for getting preggers out of wedlock. she was a good friend of mine.

For the Mormons, devotion is proportional to education and intelligence. For all other religions, it it adversely proportional. I find that amusing. It is axiomatic to me that religious people are stoopid. I can speculate as to why the Mormons are different; maybe they educate their people as a function of devotion and intelligence? I read it in DH Hill so it must be true. It was in a four-volume set of books about the shittiness of religion on the 6th floor in the refrence overflow section near the WW2 study room.
