I think it would be hilarious if Pinkerton Deluxe outsold album 7.

FUCK THIS BAND
8/18/2009 3:55:26 PM
Weezer is going to be around until they're Rolling Stones-aged. By then, they'll be in their reggae phase.
8/18/2009 4:11:22 PM
i think the fans they have left will just claim to like anything that doesn't totally suck at this point, but if the same songs were written by another band they would realize how bad they are(though I did think "Pork & Beans" was a decent song)

I would have preferred the following:
9/11/2009 1:17:04 PM
I would have bought 5 copies and a poster if that would have been the cover
9/11/2009 1:19:56 PM
i was thinking the exact same thingalso, i have a copy of zip zap rap
9/11/2009 1:28:06 PM
the red album was probably the last album I fooled myself into paying good money for, that was a mistake
9/11/2009 1:31:07 PM
i was actually pretty disappointed by the green album and convinced myself that I liked it and thus purchased maladroit when it first came out. i've probably only listened to that album 7 times. only 2 times have listened to it in its entirety.
9/11/2009 1:38:38 PM
lol, probably better than their new albumhttp://www.ptesquad.com/more/pte018.html

how in the everloving fuck did the band who made the blue album, one of my favorite albums of all time, depreciate into making horseshit like this.

I can't say I'm very impressed with their new album "Hurley". It isn't as clean (musically) and fun as Blue and Green.
10/30/2010 8:20:27 AM
lol.
10/30/2010 8:34:01 AM
I can pretty firmly say that I have just spent the last money I will ever spend on a Weezer record.I wish that the Pinkerton LP options included a two-LP set that only had the studio b-sides, but you have to take what you can get. I will say that the 4-LP box is packaged immaculately, and kudos to them for making a really cool gatefold package instead of going for the easy way out with a disc box.

The third-best Weezer album is Rock and Roll Part Three]

obligatory <3 Natalie Portman

I listened to it tonight for the first time in a few years. Holds up OK, I think. Something I'd have a hard time getting into now, but something I listened to endlessly when I was 16. Sort of a neat low-rent concept album aspect to it too. Nothing in the vein of getting high and fucking cadets in your space pod, but cool when you're in high school, I guess.
3/23/2011 12:42:11 AM
oh I definitely don't hate it and it has some great pop songs, but I played Battlescars recently when I DJ'd and the lyrics made me cringe. I had forgotten about them.instantly were my second favorite band as a 14 year old when I saw them open for Weezer in Charlotte in 2000.
