yeah newman wasnt awesome or anything, but he a decent all around player that could score efficientlywe picked Gill #5, his numbers dont look too bad but he wasnt a good teammate and we basically were forced to move him to Seattle... management hated the guy... they even got fooled into trading back for him and it didnt work out the 2nd time either...jr reid was a huge bust he went #5 as well....Zidek was miserable, he was drafted in the late teens though i believe... i actually witnessed him lose us a game on a lane violation one time... i mean my god.
6/28/2006 11:11:17 PM
damn, didn't expect Noel to be drafted.
6/28/2006 11:12:02 PM
it'd be sweet if the bobcats took bennerman
6/28/2006 11:21:29 PM
not gonna happen
6/28/2006 11:29:04 PM
not now, since they've already picked and it wasnt bennerman
6/28/2006 11:29:56 PM
exactly
6/28/2006 11:32:09 PM
Poor Bennerman, keep your head up young buckKill the workouts
6/29/2006 1:04:11 AM
last season, the Hornets player who averaged the least minutes got 7.2mins/game (i'd guess cause they got blown out a lot). So atleast we'll get to see Ced, unlike Hodgeand here's their depth chart: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/teams/depth?team=nor[Edited on June 29, 2006 at 1:08 AM. Reason : a]

6/29/2006 9:18:38 AM

6/29/2006 9:54:56 AM
Adam Morrison?Way to Wiz on the Bobcats, MJ. He can be the next Jason Kapono!
6/29/2006 9:55:25 AM
first off he's better than Kapono alreadysecond off dont fault Jordan for drafting Kwame Brown...any team with the #1 pick wouldve taken himfault Jordan for trading Rip Hamilton so he could open up a roster spot for himself
6/29/2006 9:59:29 AM
MJ is not 100% to fault for that Kwame pickits not like he would have helped the Wiz that much if he was as good as they thoughtpeople act like he would have put them in the NBA finals in a couple of yearsI havent seen LeBron do that yet, and he had a hell of a lot more hype around him and known talent than Kwame[Edited on June 29, 2006 at 10:26 AM. 6/29/2006 11:32:20 AM

6/29/2006 11:48:07 AM
tis all bout putting your heart into everything and intensityif you dont cry about somethin, safe to say you never really cared
6/29/2006 12:24:51 PM

6/29/2006 2:01:27 PM
6/29/2006 2:29:22 PM
then why didnt they?
6/29/2006 2:31:21 PM
Maybe because Gay was playing Syracuse, Seton Hall, Cincy, Louisville, Georgetown, etc. and Morrison was playing Pepperdine and San Francisco.Gay had 3 other teammates picked in the 1st round. He can't do all the scoring.
6/29/2006 2:35:37 PM
i know, i was just being a jackass.
6/29/2006 2:36:11 PM
6/29/2006 3:32:23 PM
i wouldnt trade hamilton for stackhouse any dayhamilton is one of the best shooters in the league from inside the arc
6/29/2006 3:43:29 PM
First off, as Bilas said, Morrison couldn't guard a bank with a machine gun. Second, what makes anyone think Morrison is a sure scorer in the NBA? I could see his quickness, moves and shot being successful if he was a few inches taller, ala Dirk Nowitzki. However, he is sub-6'8. Guys that size in the NBA need to be explosive athletes, even if they are great shooters (I would rate Morrison as a very good shooter). On top of this, the NBA has a long season, and I could see Morrison as a serious health liability. Morrison will probably be a contributor on offense, but I don't see him having the firepower some claim based on his college production. No defense + questionable offensive productivity at the next level + health issues = A bad pick at #3, even in this draft.I want to pull for the Bobcats. I really do. But if it's not Bob Johnson's crappy business and PR moves, it is the draft (Okafor excepted) making me shake my head that stifles my interest in pulling for them.
6/29/2006 3:44:39 PM
It's not a wash out by any means, but Stackhouse can do a lot more than Rip... Stack was one of the most talented players in the NBA at the time of the trade and Rip had yet to establish himself...Stack was clutch as hell in the playoffs, he definitely should have been the one taking the big shots down the stretch instead of Terry & Dirk.
6/29/2006 3:45:54 PM
As Steven A. Smith. the Bobcat's head guy doesn't care about winning. It's all about the money.
6/29/2006 3:57:48 PM
I'm not a big fan of Stephen A. Smith, but I enjoyed watching him call out Bob Johnson.[Edited on June 29, 2006 at 4:04 PM. Reason : .]

Adam Morrison = Reggie Millerand Miller was a damn good player
6/29/2006 4:09:13 PM
6/29/2006 4:34:46 PM
maybe if he was talking about Stackhouse in 1996 and not 2006
