haha. yea im bored at work yea i love their pictures haha. some of my fav hair metal promo pics
6/22/2005 4:13:49 PM
It honestly depends on the mode.Infinity might be my least favorite of the three. That CD is SUPER layered, and it takes many, many listens to get through them all. Its pure insanity, and in my opinion a work of art. But its definetly like coffee to a lot of people. Tons of ambient work on the album.Terria is, simply, a beautiful album. Its pretty soft (for Dev), though. I mean how many songs include an orca whale chorus? That CD is awesome as a catalyst to escape reality. I just bought it again (my old cd cracked a year or two ago). A very surreal CD with some excellent guitar work. Ocean Machine is definetly my favorite. Out of all the albums I'd say its the 2nd heaviest (behind Physicist). I really don't know how to explain why I like it so much. Its just perfect. The production, lyrics, music.. unreal.[Edited on June 22, 2005 at 4:19 PM. Reason : ed]

6/22/2005 6:14:04 PM
^^my favorites out of that list are Malice Mizer and Gackt (who used to be the lead singer of Malice Mizer, incidentally).Tiamat is amazing; their last few albums have been a lot more atmospheric and experimental, but all of their material is of uniformly high quality. My favorites are A Deeper Kind Of Slumber, and Skeleton Skeletron.

picked up Hypocrisy's "The Arrival" a few days ago...very pleased, this album kicks ass. the only complaint i have is that tagtgren doesn't use more of his vocal range, particularly his low-end...listening to him on Bloodbath's "Nightmares Made Flesh" gives me a raging boner, but you don't hear so much of his range on this album. That said, this album is fucking great, it's got some beautiful melodies and some badass thrash parts...not very technical or impressive from a skill standpoint, but just good fucking metal. one of those ones that you listen to all the way through and then back your cd player back up to the first track and do it all over again. i recommend it, and if you're a fan of hypocrisy it's a must...it's a return to their old sound, not the nu-metalish direction their last one went. peter's back \m/

I'm serious...if a media compilation stored on a compact disk and replayed via a large speaker system could ever kill you, it's this album.
