Since I still had the '82 Malibu when this thread was created--since moved on. Current car--'96 Lincoln Mark VIII. 61,500 miles. Opal Opalescent/Light Graphite interior. 4.6L 32v DOHC InTech V8, 285 hp/295 tq. Basically stock and original. I like it. And I've still got the '79 Malibu, which may come out of storage and make its return to the road this summer. [Edited on March 30, 2006 at 11:24 PM. Reason : d]

1986.5 Toyota Supra (engine from an '88T). My mom actually bought this car new. She was going to sell it, so I traded her my old Celica for it. She doesn't look that pretty these days. 1989 Porsche 928GT. They only made around 80ish '89GT's. It only had 37k miles on it when i got it, considerably more than that now.

I guess I'll post mine:1992.5 Limited Edition Mustang; 5.0 V8; white/red/white package [WOLFPACK!]...ran strong, but it's sadly sold What I gots now (thanks for the great job, NC State!) BTW, I'll be in the mountains dealing w/ snow a few months of the year, so I hadta get a 4x4. Couldn't resist the $13k off sticker plus $2k more than KBB on my trade-in (it was a 2005, don't matter to me). She's pretty quick for a bid ride, too [Edited on March 31, 2006 at 8:45 PM. MMM Hemi GC, they definately are pretty quick for what they are, but the SRT is insane.
3/31/2006 10:04:31 PM
^ The SRT-8 GC is indeed a real beast, but it's way more expensive (and you gotta pay MSRP), it gets absolutely unbeliveable gas mileage (like single digits), and the 20"s are fly 'til you're all up in the snow and mud. It's a niche vehicle, but a sweet one nonetheless. The Hemi GC provides a great balance. 330hp & a sport-auto shifter = a lot of fun.
3/31/2006 11:19:08 PM
I actaully work at a Jeep dealer, and yes for price the Hemi GC is a very good balence

99-01, Only around 4700 of them made. The body panel molds were ceramic and only had a limited lifecycle before they were destroyed.Car and Driver Classic just listed it as a "Future Classic" in this month's issue.[Edited on April 3, 2006 at 5:53 PM. Reason : .]
4/3/2006 5:52:23 PM
what kind of aftermarket is there with only 4700 in existence
4/3/2006 5:56:09 PM
not as much as there is for a civic, but to be honest, it really doesn't need all that much.Alpine makes a S/C for the 3.5 'zu engines thats a perfect fit for it, unfortunately its not a perfect fit for my wallet. There are tons of aftermarket doo-dads available for it since its basically a short wheel base trooper with a nice body and interior. Lift and drop kits for troopers work with it. 99% of the parts are from the trooper (except the CV half shafts I come to find out). People have done headers, exhaust kits, and intakes for it. Kinda helps that the owners tend to be more on the enthusiast side of the vehicle owner demographic....you aren't going to find body "styling" kits for them though. Someone in Japan made cladding with bigger wheel well flares and everyone shit a brick like "OMFG THATS AWESOME!"
