Thank god for ppr, Marshall atleast got me 7.1 on an 11.87 projected

Brandon Marshall is officially getting benched until further notice after this weeks performanceand WTF is up with Chicago's DEF scoring 18 points, nice little hole I'm in already, thanks for nothing DOLPHINS
11/19/2010 9:23:24 AM
yeah, I don't like that... I am definitely pulling for your team this week drod- I need some magic out of you!(we can't have mark's team make the playoffs... he is unstoppable and has gotten reeeaaally unlucky so far this year)
11/19/2010 9:32:29 AM
word, this league is an anomaly to me, I'm doing great in my 3 other leagues. I blame it on Matt Schaub, Brandon Marshall and Cedric Bensonand I came in here to post that I just heard Mike Williams (TB) was arrested last night/this morning for a DWI. Dont know if it will affect his playing time this week, but its something to monitor
11/19/2010 9:48:03 AM
Thanks to the Bears' red zone issues I got a productive week out of Gould. My gut tells me Vick is a must-start, but I am at least considering playing Flacco versus the awful Panthers. Of course, it could get so ugly they stop passing the ball and pull Flacco VERY early. The Giants D is tough but I expect Vick will continue to be productive, and I don't have to worry about him getting pulled (unless he is injured) or the Eagles to stop throwing the ball. Also monitoring the Floyd situation very closely. I need to pick 2 of Fitzgerald, Floyd, Crayton, and L. McCoy. No way I am benching MJD, Run DMC, or DeShawn Jackson. Also I will start Tamme if he plays, and have Gronkowski as insurance.
11/19/2010 9:54:51 AM
^The Panthers pass D really isn't that bad...I'd go Vick.Orton (vs SD) or Flacco (vs CAR)? I'm thinking I gotta go Orton....right?[Edited on November 19, 2010 at 10:52 AM. Reason : BEAT UNC]
11/19/2010 10:51:49 AM
Flacco is a safer play. Orton has been awesome, but the Chargers D, at home on MNF could be trouble for him. They have given up only 8 passing TDs all year.Kitna vs DetorFreeman @ SForT Smith vs Tampa?Pick 2:Jamaal Charles vs ArizonaFelix Jones vs DetMike Tolbert vs DenBrandon Jackson vs Minn
11/19/2010 1:17:58 PM
Freeman for consistency or Kitna for roll-the-dice possibility of getting more points.Charles a must, and maybe Tolbert if Matthews is out...[Edited on November 19, 2010 at 1:43 PM. Reason : .]
11/19/2010 1:41:31 PM
I made this trade last week and it's coming under question:I get: Andre JohnsonI give: Matt Ryan, Benjarvis Green-Ellis, Lee EvansI made it with someone who has been awful and desperately needed a better QB and RB, but hadn't given up on the season yet. My reasoning was it was probably in my favor, but someone on the path to not making the playoffs has got to try something to change their course. What do you guys think?
11/19/2010 2:10:46 PM
Fuck anyone who veto's a trade that isn't ABSOLUTELY unfair or clear collusion.I'm talking Arian Foster for Jake Delhomme level unfair.Teams make bad trades in real life all the time...fantasy should be no different.
11/19/2010 2:16:29 PM
^^Trade looks fine.^ I agree fuck the veto unless clear collusion has occurred.I just did a trade (give Jennings/Best get Chris Johnson) and one of my buddies just texted me to tell me he was going to veto it. The trade was proposed to me. This is bullshit.
11/19/2010 3:02:18 PM
11/19/2010 3:02:26 PM
Eli or Matt Schaub? I'm leaning toward Eli...but not positive. And at WR I've got Mike Williams (TB), Mike Wallace, Miles Austin, and Lance Moore...I'm guessing sit Moore this week and see how his role changes now that Reggie Bush is back. That sound right to you guys?
11/19/2010 3:18:36 PM
^^
11/19/2010 9:25:35 PM
I have some tough match ups this week, but I don't fully trust the Jets either. Who should I start: Maclin or Holmes?
11/20/2010 9:19:06 AM
I'm REALLY tempted to sit Arian Foster in one of my leagues (not yours Brett) I have Chris Johnson and Fred Jackson as my other two. Clearly Johnson gets the nod every week but with CJ Spiller out and Jackson getting 25-30 carries (Cincy isnt the best defense either) im torn.Am I losing my mind? Can you actually sit Arian foster for Fred fucking Jackson??
11/20/2010 11:13:19 AM
Marques Colston (vs. Carolina)orReggie Wayne (vs. Patriots)
11/20/2010 12:07:24 PM
^ I'd go Wayne^^ Fred Jackson goes way up the list this week, but not high enough to replace Foster, IMO. Dude has 6 TDs in the last 4 games.Pick one to sit:Holmes v HoustonFloyd v DenverOcho v Buffalo[Edited on November 20, 2010 at 1:25 PM. Reason : .]
11/20/2010 1:22:52 PM
Fred Jackson was barely startable until last week.
11/20/2010 1:57:44 PM
^^tough one, I could see them all having big games and I could also see them all shitting the bed. I think I would bench Holmes. I think Floyd will have a good game this week, especially if Gates doesnt play. Ocho has a good matchup against the Bills secondary, and this game could be kinda close with the way the Bills have been showing up lately. I could make a case to start Holmes as well (I actually changed my post to switch Holmes with Ocho) since he has a good matchup against the Texans and he has put up decent numbers over the last couple of weeks. I just have a hard time trusting Sanchez and could see Holmes putting up a 4 reception for 32 yard kinda game.who would you guys start as your RB2? (I have Frank Gore as my RB1, and this is a non-ppr league)Lesean McCoy vs NYG (tough matchup and has shoulder injury - even though he has practiced fine all week)Fred Jackson @ Cincy (was last week a fluke? Spiller is out so he should touch the ball a ton)Keiland Williams @ Tenn (Portis and Torain are banged up)Mike Goodson vs. Balt (we get 1pt for every 20 kickoff/punt return yards)Donald Brown vs. NE (Addai and Hart are OUT)
11/20/2010 8:49:42 PM
and who would you start this week, Jon Kitna vs. Det or Shaun Hill vs. Dal?
11/20/2010 10:34:49 PM
^^That's tough...I'd probably go McCoy or Williams...^And Probably HillRB2 question: BenJarvus or Tolbert? And QB Question...Eli or Schaub?[Edited on November 20, 2010 at 10:42 PM. Reason : woopps...meant Hill, not Kitna]
11/20/2010 10:41:27 PM
I'd go with Tolbert and EliRyan Mathews is hurt (again....or is it still?) so Tolbert will be the man on MNF. Schaub just had surgery this week so he cant be 100%, and hes playing the Jets in NY
11/20/2010 11:12:28 PM
^^^^Keep in mind Goodson did not return kicks last week, I guess because he was starting RB, so expect the same this week. I am deciding between Goodson and Brown, and would take any of the other three over them if I could pick them up. Jackson could have another good week I think.
11/20/2010 11:15:31 PM
ugh... I hate WR's- I am gonna bring up the idea of a flex spot instead of 3 WR's next year (tolbert would totally be getting the start in that case)anyway, pick 1: (PPR and return yards count: 20 for rec, 30 for return point)Brandon Tate vs Indy - he didn't practice Friday due to an "illness" and will be a game time decisionSteve Smith (Car) vs Baltimore - ugh, what a waste of a high pick he wasSidney Rice vs GB - he was just activated, but I don't know how much time he'll actually get... could be 90% of the game, could be just 1 series- i'd love to play him, but I don't wanna get burned
11/21/2010 8:12:54 AM
need one:Brady vs. IndyRoethlisberger vs. OakKitna vs. Det
11/21/2010 8:39:51 AM
^^Out of the three, they are all bad options. But I would go with Rice. Just roll the dice and gamble a bit.^ Go with BradyI need to figure out who I'm going to start at my flex, Jeremy Maclin or Santonio Holmes
11/21/2010 8:41:51 AM
^the texans pass D is worst int he league, NYG are #4... i'd default to thatben roethlisberger vs oak or matt ryan vs stlalso:pick 1donald brown vs NEshonn greene vs HOUbrandon jackson vs MINbeanie wells vs KC[Edited on November 21, 2010 at 8:49 AM. Reason : e]
11/21/2010 8:47:29 AM
problem is that Tate is who I'd like to start, but he doesn't play until 4... so if I pull the trigger on him, and he doesn't play, then i am f-edas for your picks, Id go Ryan and Jackson... I think he is really starting to turn it on, and Brown and Greene will still be splitting more carries, and wells is, well he's Wells- Hightower had been doing well in his absence so I don't see much time for him either
11/21/2010 8:52:48 AM
Tolbert, Best or run DMC?pick one.leaning towards Tolbert with Mathews out.[Edited on November 21, 2010 at 9:16 AM. Reason : g]
11/21/2010 9:15:16 AM
I'm playing McFadden over Tolbert if that is any consolation
11/21/2010 9:23:37 AM
Pick oneLance MooreMichael Spurlock (I get return special teams return yardage)Patrick Crayton
11/21/2010 10:07:12 AM
spurlock is good for return... I am not sold on the other of the other receivers... I mean Moore is in a "receiver by committee" situation (which sucks for colston owners). You never know if he is gonna get it, but always could have a good game. I think if you want guaranteed points, go spurlock, but if you want the risk/reward, go with moore
11/21/2010 10:09:54 AM
^that's what I'm thinking....starting a Saint correctly is nearly impossible unless it's Brees
11/21/2010 10:12:35 AM
With Mathews listed as doubtful, should I start Tolbert (vs Denver) over McCoy (vs Giants) in the flex slot? Also, should I play Malcolm Floyd (vs Denver) over Larry Fitzgerald (@KC) now that Floyd looks to be back, Nannee is still doubtful and Gates questionable?
11/21/2010 10:25:23 AM
^ I'd start McCoy and floyd... I know i saw Mccoy as questionable but he will be just fine. every needs to stop drinking the tolbert koolaid IMO. Floyd is a beast when he is healthy too. Rivers is making average guys into stars and he is huge.Looks like Austin Collie is a game time decision allthough he did travel with the team. Its between him and Ocho... thoughts???
11/21/2010 10:36:34 AM
^I would go OchoReggie Bush or Mike Tolbert?
11/21/2010 10:44:17 AM
Bush is hit or miss. Go Tolbert, he should at least be dependable for 60 yards and a TD Monday (and could get much more).[Edited on November 21, 2010 at 10:53 AM. Reason : whoops]
11/21/2010 10:47:55 AM
11/21/2010 10:51:02 AM
thanks...what about te?Shiancoe vs. Packersor Cooley vs. Titans?
11/21/2010 10:55:09 AM
pick 2:mario manningham @ phillyKeiland Williams @ tennReggie bush vs seattlemalvom floyd vs denver
11/21/2010 11:00:43 AM
^^I am in the exact same predicament.I've got Cooley starting just because Shiancoe is way too hit or miss and GB doesn't allow a lot of points to opposing tight ends
11/21/2010 11:05:26 AM
Pick 2WRH. WardA. BoldinM. WilliamsD. BryantC. OchocincoPick 2RBJ. CharlesM. Jones-DrewM. TolbertB. Green-Ellisthen choose the best leftover WR/RB for a flex spot
11/21/2010 11:29:36 AM
^tough to decide if Ward will perform....boldin/bryant/mjd/charles...then either ward or tolbert, imo...HELP ME DECIDE>.....H. Ward VS OAKorM. Floyd VS DENWard has played more recently, less chance of rust... but when Floyd was healthy he was getting good looks from PR....
11/21/2010 12:19:31 PM
I'd go Floyd. Phil is gonna put up big numbers and a few of his targets are still out. Seems to be a safe choice. Here's my dilemma. Witten vs Detroit or Marcedes vs Cleveland
11/21/2010 12:23:41 PM
Fred jackson vs CinorM. Floyd vs Den???
11/21/2010 12:43:26 PM
I'd go Floyd as Gates is iffy and Naanee is doubtful.Pick 3:Terrell Owens (@Buf)Brandon Lloyd (@SD)Malcolm Floyd (Den)Andre Johnson (@NYJ)
11/21/2010 12:51:37 PM
Owens, Lloyd, JohnsonWhich one for flex (PPR league): Steve Breaston (vs KC) or BenJarvus Green-Ellis (vs Indy)
11/21/2010 12:54:25 PM
I think Ellis could be poised for a big game against the Colts. I like the law firm there.
