It gets better. I wrote that on May 20th, 2012.Why I joined Mitch McConnell’s teamPublished: 11:43 AM 09/14/2012By Jesse BentonI discovered Mitch McConnell on May 22, 2010.Of course, as a budding young politico, I had followed Sen. McConnell for more than a decade. I respected his achievements and understood his importance, but it was that day that I was first allowed an inside look at the man who led my party in the United States Senate.Read more: http://dailycaller.com/2012/09/14/why-i-joined-mitch-mcconnells-team/#ixzz26TCBv4Oh

Ron Paul would have been a great president despite the fact that he can't even find people good enough to run his campaign. Truly a huge loss for the country.

It is my hope that the example of Ron Paul's crushing defeat will deter future candidates from even considering participation in the two-party system, thereby hastening the widespread civil unrest necessary to abandon the constitution and begin anew.
9/19/2012 11:42:24 PM
I agree with kdogg.

9/20/2012 9:32:44 AM
GOD OF LIBERTY
9/20/2012 9:37:04 AM
Ron Paul has been a great messenger and pioneer, but pioneers end up with a lot of arrows in their back. I always supported Ron Paul for President, but it was with the knowledge that him being elected was remote if not impossible.I'll repeat what I mentioned in the Romney thread. We do not want a libertarian anywhere near the White House or positions of power, because ultimately the public will associate the economic decline of the United States with whoever is in power at that time. Obama getting re-elected is a great thing; with QEInfinity now in place, I expect speculation to take off, which locks in our economic fate. We will not be better off in 4 years, regardless of who gets elected. You don't promote the best leader to a ship that is already doomed to sink. You sit back, expand your sphere of influence as much as possible, and wait.
9/20/2012 10:25:38 AM
So you're rooting for the ship to sink?
9/20/2012 10:43:13 AM
^ have you read his posts?
9/20/2012 10:55:05 AM
I'm saying that there's a gaping hole in the hull that can't possibly be repaired by anyone. My suggestion is to take a lifeboat to the shore and build a new ship, rather than waste time, money, and effort on a ship that is already mostly underwater.
9/20/2012 10:55:56 AM
I'll take that as a yes.
9/20/2012 12:53:13 PM
The worst part about this is that it's pre-planned.The news quoted Osama bin Laden as saying in 2002-03 as saying that America will lose by going into Economic Collapse by spending all of its wealth on wars against terror"This statement captivated me and nobody else. It was said at a time when America was still the strongest, richest nation on Earth. I thought to myself "yeh right, if we start spending too much they'll cut the spending"In other words, I'm pretty sure "Osama" is just a movie character for the New World Order and anything he said was truth for what was really going to happen. I just consider the whole 9/11 event as the final chapter in the New World Order since there is no way the falling of 2 buildings could bring down the richest nation on Earth without the economic collapse being pre-planned.Every vote, every bill, every decision that was made in the White House/Congress/Supreme Court since 9/11 was explicitly a step towards economic collapse.[Edited on September 20, 2012 at 1:08 PM. 9/20/2012 1:06:35 PM
Osama probably wishes he read the script more thoroughly.
9/20/2012 1:30:00 PM
Osama is a movie character. His character died. We never got to see his dead body.[Edited on September 20, 2012 at 1:32 PM. Reason : .]

see, now this is when i say "does this dude really believe everything he's saying, or is he trolling? i mean, he's got to be trolling, right?"
9/20/2012 2:05:59 PM
What is trolling? that those pictures on the money don't exist? That pictures of osama don't exist when pictures of kate middleton's titties do?You don't find it odd that the CIA intercepted and released all of Osama's videos instead of the internet?
9/20/2012 2:09:57 PM
The money! God why the money!!!!

Ron Paul given rock star treatment at UVUBy Benjamin Wood, Deseret NewsPublished: Thursday, Oct. 18 2012 6:06 p.m. MDT Ron Paul received a robust welcome at Utah Valley University on Thursday, drawing supportive chants, cheers and standing ovations from the audience as he lambasted the federal reserve, income taxes, the war on drugs, the war in Afghanistan, medicare, welfare and foreign policy. The longtime Texas congressman and three-time presidential candidate brought his trademark small government message to the UCCU Center to the delight of the near-capacity crowd. But while Paul's remarks were critical of U.S. government both past and present, his message focused on the ability of individuals to band together and demand change.http://www.deseretnews.com/article/865564794/Ron-Paul-given-rock-star-treatment-at-UVU.html

^that looks like it was decorated by someone who might be a little nutty[Edited on October 29, 2012 at 1:32 PM. Reason : they brought multi-colored magic markers to the voting booth?]
10/29/2012 1:32:02 PM
Why does everything have to be nutty with you?
10/29/2012 1:56:55 PM
Unauthorized display of a ballot is illegal in Nevada, as is "photographing or otherwise recording conduct of voting by members of general public"http://www.citmedialaw.org/legal-guide/state-law-documenting-your-vote#Nevada[Edited on October 29, 2012 at 1:58 PM. Reason : .]
10/29/2012 1:57:23 PM
That's the difference, Ron Paul people feel like everything is illegal for them, but when corporations or the governments do illegal things, they get bailed out or written off as nothing happened. ]
10/29/2012 2:00:59 PM
Ron Paul people are basically walking manifestations of the Dunning–Kruger effect
10/29/2012 2:05:17 PM
Do you not think it's a little nutty to bring magic-markers to the voting booth and decorate your ballot in a rainbow of colors?
10/29/2012 2:07:35 PM
For women, activists, and hippies, I don't find this too nutty.
10/29/2012 2:10:16 PM
Seriously? You think it's normal for women?
10/29/2012 2:11:21 PM
If a man did this, I would be surprised. But not too surprised, either.
