I'm up like 55 or 60 heading into tonight...Torain was going for me, he doesn't play, and Vick and S. Moss going for him. But no big deal, right?WRONG....Michael freakin' Vick.
11/15/2010 11:12:41 PM
I was up three going into tonight. I had Desean Jackson and he had McCoy. Thanks to that one catch I survived. That was a close one.
11/15/2010 11:39:14 PM
put mccoy back in im down by .07
11/15/2010 11:51:15 PM
Wow. 152.85 vs 169.08 If I wasn't such a lazy bastard and checked my team's status before passing out I would have won by 2.12.
11/16/2010 12:27:50 AM
why didn't Torain play?and Vick... holy shit Vick. Lol he scored 10 times what Peyton did for me this weekand lol at being up by 1.5 pts going into last nights game, not playing anyone, and going against Washington's defense and Cooley- and still winning!but in the other league where I thought I had it in the bag (needed just 6 pts out of torain), I lost it [Edited on November 16, 2010 at 6:31 AM. 11/16/2010 6:25:43 AM
Vick score 62 fantasy points for me last night. 62 POINTSI started the night down by 30 points and ended up winning by 45 (I also had Lesean McCoy playing)now I'm faced with a tough decision, who to start this week at QB:Michael Vick @ NYGAaron Rodgers @ MinBig Ben vs. Oakalso pick my three WR (non-ppr):Anquan Boldin @ CarDesean Jackson @ NYGPercy Harvin vs. GB (could be injured and out)Santana Moss @ Ten (didnt do crap in a passing game this week)Malcolm Floyd vs. Den (first game back from injury, instantly the #1 WR in record setting pass offense)Sidney Rice vs. GB (first game back from injury, if Harvin is out he will be top WR option)then pick my 3 WR in another league (non-ppr) - yes they all are on my roster, before you ask:Roddy White @ StLGreg Jennings @ MinDonald Driver @ MinSantonio Holmes vs. HouPierre Garcon @ NESidney Rice vs. GBMichael Crabtree vs. TB
11/16/2010 9:29:24 AM
I'm pretty sure I'm playing the guy that scored >50 points until he lets me down.Anyone who doesn't start Vick deserves to lose.
11/16/2010 11:33:10 AM
No reason to ever start Big Ben unless you are desperate. He has looked awful this year. Like ^ said...you gotta stick with the hot hand. That means Vick over Rodgers.
11/16/2010 11:35:44 AM
apparently you missed BR's garbage time stat line this week
11/16/2010 11:44:02 AM
I would start Vick over any QB in the league right now.
11/16/2010 11:49:20 AM
4-6 and 5-5 in my leagues....(lost in both)Could have won, but I made a couple of wrong decisions in both leagues.
11/16/2010 12:15:15 PM
Pick 3:(ppr, passing touchdowns = 6 points)Marshall, Steve Johnson, Branch, Woodhead, Edwards, HolmesI was thinking Marshall/(a jet, not sure which though...)/Johnson but not sure[Edited on November 16, 2010 at 12:51 PM. Reason : .]
11/16/2010 12:51:09 PM
^ I would go Marshall, Johnson, and either Branch or Holmes.Better WR option, Donald Driver or Deon Branch?
11/16/2010 6:25:15 PM
I need help by tomorrow morning to pick my TE for the week:Greg Olsen (@ Mia) or Marcedes Lewis (vs Cle)Marcedes gets looks and actually catches the ball (he had 5 catches for almost 60 yds last week)Olsen, on the other hand, has butter fingers- but gets endzone looks (MJD is a vulture in Jax). He got a td last week, but only had a couple more points than lewis.I also have Knox going (my receiving corps is crap due to bad draft picks, aka Steve Smith (car) and injuries), so Olsen would be the second receiving hope I have going for the bears, and I'm not sure I need that. I'm leaning towards Lewis- someone tell me I'm making the right decision or if I'm horribly mistaken.-------------------------------------------------------------------Also, who would you pick up to replace cribbs at this point (I held on to him as my 3WR/Return guy): Jacoby Jones or Ford (oak). Jones has butter fingers as well (dropping more passes than the rest of the team combined), but Ford is still pretty unknown. I like to play one of these guys because you never know when they will break one, and their return yards usually get them consistent points (although, not as good this year as it was last year). Jones is splitting time with Kevin Walter, and I honestly don't know much about Ford other than what he did in his last game. Honestly, this might be a moot point anyway if Rice comes back this week because then I can start him and Knox and keep playing Brandon Tate- think anyone would trade for steve smith at this point?[Edited on November 17, 2010 at 8:00 AM. 11/17/2010 7:55:14 AM
WR for this week, pick two:D. Bowe vs. AzNate Washington v. Wash.Ocho v. BufWard v. OakIn my league you start getting pts when a WR reached 75 yds rec. ( of course TD count regardless)
11/17/2010 9:39:08 AM
you have to go with Bowe against AZ. I would also take Ocho because of the matchup.
11/17/2010 10:31:44 AM
So I have no idea which RBs to start this week. Which 2 of these would you start?Peyton Hillis vs JagsLeSean McCoy vs GiantsMichael Turner vs RamsAhmad Bradshaw vs EaglesLeaning towards Hillis and McCoy though
11/17/2010 10:39:53 AM
^^^^I would play Lewis and Jones. Jones plays against the Jets and Ford plays against Pittsburgh. I think Revis will blanket Andre Johnson, so Jones/Walter could get a lot more looks.^^^ I agree with Bowe and Ochocinco. Bowe is a no-brainer, and Ocho has gotta break out of his semi-slump at some point, Buffalo is a great place to do so^I would go with Hillis and Bradshaw. Hillis is a definite, its a toss-up for me between Turner and Bradshaw. Since Bradshaw is such a big part of the passing game now, and the Eagles will force plenty of dump-off passes, I would go with Ahmad.my turn
11/17/2010 11:14:40 AM
^Hillis amd either turner or McCoy.Pick a waiver wire WR:Deon BranchDonald DriverJames JonesThoughts?
11/17/2010 11:16:45 AM
some early news after/during wednesday practice:
11/17/2010 12:08:20 PM
^^^ I would go with Boldin, Desean Jackson, and Floyd in the first one. White, Jennings, and Holmes in the other, basically going with the best players considering there really arent any "must plays" based off of matchups.Any news on when/whether Romo is going to come back? I picked him up in a 16 team league because there was no one else to pick up, I wanted to get rid of Pickles, and it was an attempt to gear up for the playoffs. He was never put on IR, it was his non-throwing shoulder...but I'm also not sure they'd throw him back out there without having much on the line. Any thoughts? [Edited on November 17, 2010 at 1:22 PM. Reason : ]
11/17/2010 1:18:42 PM
Deangelo is now officially on IR. He is safe to drop.
11/17/2010 1:27:06 PM
^^^Conflicting stories...
11/17/2010 3:01:27 PM
yeah, two different groups of people making assumptions. I think he has to be activated from the PUP list next Wednesday or else he is ineligible to play at all this season, so we will know one way or another if he is going to play or not by Wednesday. The people in my post are beat writers for Minnesota's newspaper saying what they "believe" will happen, the person in yours is Rice's agent Drew Rosenhaus who is saying/doing everything he can to maximize the amount of money his client will receive once his contract expires after this seasonhell the coach doesnt even know whats going to happen:
11/17/2010 3:23:50 PM
I'd go with White, S. Moss, and Floyd (assuming he's ready to go).Pick 1: T.O., Mike Williams (SEA), Jeremy Maclin
11/17/2010 4:20:22 PM
If Floyd isn't 100%, I'd go Mike Thomas. He's very consistent and Sims-Walker might be out too.^^Gotta play T.O. just based on big play potential alone^
11/17/2010 4:40:26 PM
Pick 3: (* means current starter)Jennings @ Min*Boldin @ Car*N. Washington vs. Was*M. Floyd vs. DenW. Welker vs. IndyNormally I'd start Floyd over Washington, but the Skins have the 2nd worst pass D in the league and Meangelo will likely be on Moss. Plus CJ2K likely to get plenty of touches.
11/17/2010 4:51:39 PM
I think you have the right picks made... unless you think this will be welkers week (which is bound to happen sometime)
11/17/2010 7:00:26 PM
Looking to pick up an extra WR to carry rest of the year, or until a better option gets dropped. My current WRs are:Percy HarvinRandy MossHines WardSteve Smith (car)As you can see, I need a good bit of help at WR...so which one of:Donald DriverDeon BranchJames JonesSteve BreastonEddie Royal
11/17/2010 7:10:09 PM
Deangelo williams is the reason I am not succeeding this year. Wasted high draft pick
11/17/2010 8:37:58 PM
It's Deion! Please stop posting Deon!New England is like a box of chocolates this year, you never know who you're gonna get when it comes to scoring. That said, I'd go Eddie Royal.
11/17/2010 9:43:26 PM
^^^I would say Driver or Breaston. This week at RB (need to pick 1):Reggie Bush, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, or Mike Tolbert?I'm thinking BenJarvus, but I don't know. Also, other league...Woodhead or Marshawn Lycnh? (awful options lol)[Edited on November 17, 2010 at 9:57 PM. Reason : ]
11/17/2010 9:53:07 PM
^ I'd go with Tolbert if Ryan Matthews is out. If Matthews plays, Benjarvus. In a PPR league, I'd play Woodhead. In non-PPR, I'm not really familiar enough with Woodhead's stats. I would not start Benjarvus and Woodhead at the same time.Pick 1LT, Knowshon Moreno, Shonn GreenePick 2 (fallout from drafting randy moss and steve smith)Johnny Knox, Malcom Floyd, Mike Williams SEA[Edited on November 18, 2010 at 7:03 AM. Reason : :]
11/18/2010 6:51:22 AM
^ All three are good, for this week I'd rank the Jets RBs ahead of Knowshon. LT is slowing down but I use him this week over Greene just for his ability to catch out of the backfield. I do like Greene over LT for the rest of the season though.Go with Williams and Floyd (only if he is 100%)Which one do I sit?Foster vs JetsS. Jackson vs ATLMcCoy vs NYG
11/18/2010 1:47:36 PM
That's tough...I don't know that you can go wrong starting any two, but I would probably sit McCoy...Foster has been hot lately, and StL doesn't really have anyone else to go to...Nice problem to have though..Which one do I Sit?Knowshon @SDBJGE vsINDMcFadden @ PitTurner @StL
11/18/2010 2:19:02 PM
Moreno Turner

^^ you are saying sit Moreno and Turner?
11/18/2010 2:40:44 PM
no i was saying to start them, sorryPIT is great against the run so sit McFatty and BJGE isn't consistent enough to start.[Edited on November 18, 2010 at 3:01 PM. Reason : .]
11/18/2010 3:00:33 PM
Pick two:Green-Ellis vs. Colts (Fred Taylor questionable to return)Tolbert vs. Broncos (Matthews probably won't play)Keiland Williams vs. Titans (Both Torain and Portis probably won't play)
11/18/2010 4:17:48 PM
McFadden is matchup proof at this point. Play him.Tolbert and Williams.Pick 1 of Johnny Knox vs Miami, Beanie Wells vs KC or Jahvid Best vs Dallas
11/18/2010 4:21:22 PM
I just want to say, NFL.com's projections are OFF-THE-WALL STUPID!Some examples:Arian Foster RB - 7.20 (scored less than 11 points in only 1 game, ranked him down with the likes of Green-Ellis & Marshawn Lynch this week)Andre Johnson WR - 4.80 (maybe, but is Revis enough to bench him? placed him down near #50)Terrell Owens WR - 10.90 (down near #30 with Sims-Walker, Michael Jenkins, and Massaquoi...mmmmk)Antonio Gates TE - 4.90 (scored less than 11 points in only 1 game)Matt Forte RB - 15.50 (really?, according to their rankings he's going to play as well as DMC & McCoy?)Malcom Floyd WR - 0.00 (90% sure he's going to play)Hines Ward WR - 11.70 (down near #28 with Marques Colston and Devery Henderson.... lol.)Aaron Hernandez - 13.10 (this ranks him as top TE this week... not so sure about that.)Pierre Garcon - 24.50 (hahahaha.... hahaha... ha... they have him ranked as the #1 WR this week)Patrick Crayton - 14.90 (really, with Floyd and Naanee back? along with Ajirotutu?)Darren Sproles - 13.00 (even with Matthews out, this ain't gonna happen)Knowshon Moreno RB - 20.10 (if he gets half that he'll be lucky)[Edited on November 18, 2010 at 5:53 PM. Need some help at WR this week...Brandon Marshall's been inconsistent lately, but I still would have a hard time benching him. Any way, pick 3:Nicks (lock, basically), Calvin Johnson (lock), Brandon Marshall, Manningham, Mike Williams SEA.Nicks, Johnson, and Marshall are the obvious picks...but Marshall hasn't done much lately.
11/18/2010 6:11:49 PM
I think you go Manningham.
11/18/2010 6:24:31 PM
Would you give Jennings and Best to get Chris Johnson?I've already got Bowe, Lloyd, Holmes, and Knox at WR, and Turner, Blount, Mathews, Keiland, and Portis at RB.
11/18/2010 8:02:21 PM
How many RB's do you play?
11/18/2010 8:40:28 PM
^^yes, do that trade now. Greg Jennings is having a great year, but youre getting arguably the best RB in fantasy football. Jahvid Best is dealing with an injury and probably wouldnt even start for you for the rest of the yearthank you Brandon Marshall for dropping about 40 yards worth of passes on that last drive, you schmuck
