Just a note since we bumped up to Heisman. You want to change the CPU FG power down to at least 40. In the Pac-10 league I had Troy's kicker or something bombing 60 yarders no problem (he was like a 72 kick power too). 40 seems to work in the pac10 league

could we look at having some sort of mandatory advance rule, so that the dynasty doesn't get hurt by people who don't play the game? maybe Tuesday and Friday so its offset from the pac10 dynasty?

yeah i didn't know if you were going to try to go back and reload a file from preseason recruiting so you could try again? don't know how commishing works though. I'll go ahead and complete week 1. Hope I got a decent schedule

Wake Forest is ready to go after week one.

Whoever recruited for WFU in year 1 didn't do so hot. Most of my recruits are ranked in the 50's. Not to mention my kicker, who is an overall 40 (and isn't from another position, he's actually a kicker).

I need to have a solid recruiting year this season or else I'll be in a TON of trouble.

Also, is it just me or is everyone else having problems with the EA Servers? It's been taking me a while to log in to our dynasty. I hadn't noticed the problem before with online play.

Not that I much care, but I thought this was going to be the slower moving of the leagues. I am not sure if I can get in four games a week playing other players with my schedule. Just putting that out there for those that may have concerns with that schedule.

^^i'm cool with that. really want to get advanced to week 2, when the mighty Seminoles head to Alabama to roll the tide. FSU is still a 99 rated defense, was able to talk Rolle into staying for his senior year. Lots of potential with this year's recruits, ton's of 5*s interested in FSU out of the gate

remember the name Damon Workman. Freshman, #3 MLB coming out of high school started his college career against USF with 7 tackles, 2 TFL, 3 INT's(one for TD) and a FF. This kid is absolutely SICK. Thank god for him and the rest of my defense as my offense was anemic. Still good enough to get out of Tampa with a 27-14 W.

VT went down to death valley and came out with a 21-19 victory over #18 LSU.... wow my team is a whole hell of alot better without having a kickass recruiting class... also has anyone else noticed a significant increase in the overall speed of the game? i mean my lineman looks like freaking spiller running around the backfield

Yeh Heisman is pretty sick...

State took down #11 ASU 24-21 on a late FG by Czajkowski.

Glennon was pretty solid, and Eugene rushed for a lot of yards. Pretty solid game all around.

Now time to prepare for Wisconsin and hope to contain their offense.

Speed for a DE is huge in NCAA games -- it becomes too important, I think. But it's a great thing to have it.

I'm excited about my Wake Forest team. With Skinner and Josh Adams back, I should be decent. We'll see if I can compete with you guys, though.

My team's problem is that my defense is weak and not deep (and past this season, I'm in TROUBLE). This will have to be a huge recruiting year. Already landed a 3-star DE.

Florida State head west to Alabama and takes down the Crimson Tide, 16-13. It was a tight game all afternoon. Bert Reed caught the go ahead touchdown with under 1:30 to go to put FSU in front for good. LE Markus White was player of the game and made the game ending interception on the ensuing drive. Bobby was proud of his kids for playing well in a hostile environment. Tavares Pressley had 84 yards rushing on 23 carries.

Next week the Seminoles head to Boston College to take on the Eagles to open up ACC play.

EA servers are working fine for me. Try the network test on the dashboard and make sure your nat is open. otherwise you'll probably have problems connecting to people when we start playing each other

I'm still having problems, but I was able to finish my game and load everything up. I've played games online before and NEVER had a problem, but recently something has been going on.

Took a loss against ECU in week 1. It was tied late and I threw and interception with a minute left and they came down and kicked a field goal. I have a lot of work to do with this team. My defense is terrible (and slow), but offense isn't too bad.
