I mean, small potatoes, but can we sit back and just take stock that on the president of the United States' twitter feed is a link to a The Gateway Pundit story.I guess congrats to conservative media for absolutely and totally winning control of the minds of the country?[Edited on March 23, 2017 at 9:10 AM. I don't think they've won over the minds. They've won over Trump's mind.
3/23/2017 9:15:29 AM
McCain seems to be the only Republican congressman with any sense right now. And nobody is listening to him.
3/23/2017 9:16:50 AM
^^ they control EVERYTHING. The Democrats had a lot to do with that but I'm not sure how you can conclude anything but the GOP and RW media have won the war (for now).
3/23/2017 9:20:13 AM
3/23/2017 9:55:06 AM
^^Well by definition if you say for now, they haven't won the war. if anything, they've won a battle. But it's cynical to say they control everything, just as it's cynical for Republicans to say the LW media controls everything.

Just Googled this, there are a few more "anti-Semitic" incidents the past few months debunked. http://www.fakehatecrimes.org/reportsYou gotta love the culture of "Victimhood Olympics" that the regressive left has created. I guess this is the kind of false-flag shit you can expect when your entire ideology is based on convincing people that they are "oppressed" when they aren't.And we already know 100% of these were front page material on the HuffingtonPost, yet oddly enough they don't update once the hoax has been exposed... It's a loss if Trumpcare fails on the house but if it passes it is so wildly unpopular they will likely be hammered for years to come by voters.

Cute little website that only serves to feed your narrative. If they were that concerned with being impartial/fact checking there would be side-by-side comparisons of hoaxes vs. non-hoaxes.

lol, dude is funny.anyways, trump recently did an interview with time, here are some gems:

AHCA vote delayed, so much for The Great Deal-Maker.
3/23/2017 4:35:20 PM
Yeah, I'm wondering how Trump will react. I'm sure Ryan will be somewhere on the receiving end.]
3/23/2017 4:55:05 PM
This still makes me nervous. Gives them another day to bribe their colleagues with pet project money to get them to vote yes on this.
3/23/2017 5:41:32 PM
It's amazing to watch the Art of the Deal unfold in real time.
3/23/2017 7:03:32 PM
The problem with the "fake hate crime list" is that people use the few instances of made up crap to dismiss legitimate hate and terror. The fakers piss me off just as much as the actual perpetrators, but so do those who then act like the real thing isn't a big deal.
3/23/2017 7:06:11 PM
3/23/2017 9:20:29 PM
You really need to find a dictionary and look up the word "majority". Unless you have statistical data to show that more than 50% of these reports of hate crimes are hoaxes, you're completely full of shit.
3/23/2017 11:32:11 PM
He needs more than a dictionary. The problem is lack of broad contextual understanding, dictionaries don't come close to solving this.
3/24/2017 12:32:02 AM
This bill passing would be the worst thing for Trump. It's got no chance at all in making it through the Senate as written, walks back a huge campaign promise he made and if it fails he can just throw Ryan under the bus (and he will). If it fails he can blame and move on.From a personal perspective I can't root for it to pass even knowing that would be worst-case for Trump. The people most affected would be the same people who, in large part, put a psychopath in the WH but they don't deserve to lose health care and potentially die for that.
3/24/2017 7:48:43 AM
^^^ You need to improve your reading comprehension. I said "headline cases"... meaning the cases that are just too perfect for the media to pass up... aka the OBVIOUS hoaxes like someone burning a black church and painting "Vote Trump" on it. The same ones that you hacks have fallen for time and time again.

^^this guy is so funny when it's obvious he gets all his information from right-wing echo-chambers. and he verifies the information, as he explained, with his own brain (much like trump).anyways, here's a story about a tweet he sent today:https://news.vice.com/story/trump-trolls-republicans-pass-my-health-bill-or-keep-funding-planned-parenthood[Edited on March 24, 2017 at 12:21 PM. wanna dispute any of the facts of the story (i mean, it's basically just posting actual tweets and talking about them)? nope, you never do, just yell FAKE NEWS!!! ECHO-CHAMBER!!! SNOWFLAKE!!!! or whatever buzz word is humming around the right-wing echo chambers at the time. all the while saying the way you verify your "facts" is by using your "brain". Vice was founded by noted leftist Gavin McInnes.
3/24/2017 12:53:43 PM
oh, no denying that Vice leans left (at least most conservatives would think so, although they think most any journalism leans left) . i was mainly posting it for the actual tweets.(but what does it matter? the story is pretty much all fact, with a few "biased" observations, like calling what trump is doing "trolling", which is pretty hard to dispute.)[Edited on March 24, 2017 at 1:18 PM. 3/24/2017 12:56:54 PM
It may now. I don't really read it but Gavin McInnes, who was a co-founder is a card carrying alt-right asshole.
3/24/2017 1:08:44 PM
I keep missing your sarcasm... I've only read Vice a few times, and I watch some of the shows, heard some about the founder, but never got the impression their journalism is influenced by the alt-right. Usually it seems pretty unbiased, although they take obvious digs at Trump.
3/24/2017 1:11:52 PM
(Gavin McInnes has nothing to do with Vice anymore)
3/24/2017 1:13:59 PM
Hasn't since 2009 or something (?) and has been critical of it.In any case, one post in reference to a JCE is too much so my apologies.Train wreck incoming this afternoon. Ryan gonna get thrown so far under bus.

WSJ reported today on the hate crime discussion. Some tidbits:FBI shows 5,850 reported hates crimes in 2015, a 7% increase from the prior year, partly due to a 67% jump in anti-Muslim incidents. Anti-Jewish incidents rose nearly 9%.Recent data shows sharp increases in hate crimes in major cities such as New York and Los Angeles.Law enforcement in 15 major metro areas reported more than 1,600 hate crimes in 2016 which is a 10% increase from 2015.Figures come from FBI, Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University (San Bernardino).

3/24/2017 2:57:53 PM
What a disaster. Although, I think there's a cautionary tale here for Democrats who want a "Tea Party" esque far left movement to rise in the party. It's hard to govern with extremists, the equivalent of this would be the ACA being killed because a lot of Democrats refused to vote for anything that wasn't single payer. It's also a reminder that government is hard, especially anything related to healthcare, and Obama/Pelosi/Reid deserve a lot of credit for getting it done in 2010.
3/24/2017 3:50:29 PM
yeah we should keep being reasonable and losing elections
3/24/2017 3:57:23 PM
It wasn't Trump's fault this thing failed. But he made this process all about himself, and said he was going to be the ultimate deal maker, so this became his failure. And after promising to unite the country, he hasn't even united his party.
3/24/2017 4:56:52 PM
^ it's equally his fault as it is GOP. He ran on repealing and replacing ACA, he's supposed to set a target for legislators to hit. Obviously trump is dumb and doesn't know anything about policy but his policy people seemed to be asleep at the wheel here too. Trump surrounds himself with sycophant so I have zero reason to believe they'll learn from this.
3/24/2017 5:45:21 PM
Spicer's press conference was basically "if this passes Trump is victorious, if it fails it was someone else's fault"
3/24/2017 6:21:41 PM
^We knew that's what we'd be getting for 4 years
3/24/2017 7:02:43 PM
Trump said Democratics should come up with a replacement for Obamacare Republicans have the white house and Congress but admit that they don't know how to govern and have to ask democratic party for help
