That sounds like a great idea. I'm sure they would rather have a job than be unemployed.I support people less fortunate than me through social programs which are funded by tax collection.[Edited on March 19, 2010 at 1:47 PM. Reason : ]
3/19/2010 1:45:45 PM

It's true.
3/19/2010 1:48:57 PM
3/19/2010 2:42:48 PM
It is not true. Such social programs shockingly tend to miss out on helping the worst off among us, instead granting subsidies to the comfortable that would do fine without them. It is only local and private charities that tend to help the homeless or outcast. Welfare and such subsidies require you to already have an address and fill out paperwork, hard for the uneducated to do. It also tends to be oddly area dependent, so a lower-middle class household living in a rich neighborhood qualifies, but a poor household in a poor neighborhood does not. So, no. You cannot rely on your tax dollars to care for those less fortunate than yourself because the government tends to fuck up whatever it tries to do. People are left to starve in the street while much of your money is stolen through the Federal Housing Administration by mobsters flipping real-estate.
3/19/2010 2:45:05 PM
Hahaha, yes, because rich men flying around in gulf-stream jets are so willing to help out those less fortunate.
3/19/2010 2:47:17 PM
you mean like Bill Gates?
3/19/2010 2:49:21 PM
No, just the disgusting people that you idolize.
3/19/2010 2:53:19 PM
oh, so you'll happily ignore the fucking counterproof against your lame argument. typical liberal.
3/19/2010 2:57:33 PM
Those rich people pay taxes, which according to your dumb ass, is the only noble way to help the poor and unfortunate. You should be praising them for doing so much more than yourself. Its a wonder why we have a need for these charities? I mean we have programs for the homeless, poor, etc. Yet we have all these organizations that help these people too...how wierd.I could show you actual facts of how much taxes those evil rich pay, but I dont think it would help you.

3/19/2010 5:51:54 PM
too bad that wasn't one of the taxes that was included, dumbfuck
3/19/2010 5:55:53 PM
^^o and its NO0.9% increase to Medicare payroll tax on EARNED income over 200K/250K threshold. That is not a "new" tax, per se, although it really depends how one chooses to look at it, but it is a tax increase imposed only on one specific sector.
3/19/2010 6:19:21 PM
fox news is reporting that dems have the vote. the country is fucked. congrats on leading to the downfall of the US, Obama. Can we fuck this nation over? YES WE CAN]
3/19/2010 7:04:21 PM
^its almost 2 years late for that. thats when i first heard obama talking about healthcare
3/19/2010 7:12:16 PM
what the fuck?
3/19/2010 7:13:01 PM
point is, this is what the people voted for. i'm sick of the crying by the minority frankly.
3/19/2010 7:23:31 PM
only, it's not. I've already ass-raped you over that, so SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU STUPID FUCKING TROLL
3/19/2010 7:27:23 PM
someone seems touchy today.
3/19/2010 7:30:53 PM
you assraped me by saying people who hate health care elected almost exclusively pro health care offficials just to somehow get back at bush by not voting for someone in his party who didn't even like him?
3/19/2010 7:46:10 PM
no. I never said anyone hated healthcare. that's why you are a fucking idiot and a vapid troll cunt. this is what we call a "strawman."
3/19/2010 7:52:35 PM
giving the people what they want is fucking the nation over then
3/19/2010 8:18:31 PM
only, it's not what they want. That's why so many people are against it, DURRRRRRRRRRRRRR. it's like you don't even fucking read the fucking newspaper.
3/19/2010 8:38:00 PM
thats becaause the people that are outspoken are only the people that lost the election. The people that voted aren't going to be outspoken because they are letting the process run its course. people voted for the politicians after they spoke of healthcare is the point. if people were so against healthcare they wouldn't have let something so trivial like "bushes party needs to lose" let them elect health care mongerers. Now the minority who are against it are rioting and calling dc nonstop. wah. democratic republic wins.
3/19/2010 9:02:31 PM
I like how you are trying to singlehandedly re-write fucking history here. Yeah, Obama never campaigned on "change." AKA, "not bush"]
3/19/2010 9:05:25 PM
but he also campaigned universal healthcare. I might need to check my history, but I'm not quite sure bush even ran for president in 08, if he did, I don't think he was the only other candidate. My memory isn't clear but there must have been other candidates. right?
3/19/2010 9:13:51 PM
Congressman Bob Etheridge:
3/19/2010 9:26:57 PM
only, he didn't campaign for universal healthcare. nice try, though. he campaigned, 100% on "change." So much so that that the word was on his fucking banners.^ haha. yes, the best chance we have is to implement a system that has caused insurance premiums in Massachusetts to go through the roof. To implement a system that led to higher premiums for BCBS in the 30s and 40s. Yes. The best way to reduce costs is to do things that consistently raise costs. The level of fucking stupidity it takes to make such statements is amazing. And people will dumb enough to vote for this idiot]

where were you when the CHANGE banners were unfurled across the nation? Where were you in the debates when all he did was accuse McCain of being nothing but Bush. just shut the fuck up troll[Edited on March 19, 2010 at 9:43 PM. Reason : ]
3/19/2010 9:42:51 PM
this isn't change?[Edited on March 19, 2010 at 9:44 PM. Reason : overall change and he listed out all the changes point blank][Edited on March 19, 2010 at 9:44 PM. Reason : and this was on of the MAJOR changes]
3/19/2010 9:43:32 PM
adolf fucking hitler would have been "change," you vapid cunt.]
3/19/2010 9:45:29 PM
his campaign slogan was change. what is your point?healthcare was probably the top issue he wanted to change.
3/19/2010 9:47:42 PM
the point is that his whole campaign was built around not being dubya. The "change" slogan was the fucking proof in the pudding, dipshit. DURRRRRRRRRRR]
3/19/2010 9:49:57 PM
that point would be fine if bush were the only other candidate running against obama.
3/19/2010 9:53:04 PM
tell that to McCain, dumbass. "8 years of failed policies" was practically a fucking catchphrase during the campaign. but no, Obama wasn't talking about Bush
3/19/2010 9:54:56 PM
none of this has anything to do with healthcare. if people hated healthcare and hated bush they wouldve elected one of the MANY candidates that wasn't named bush, didn't support bush and didn't support healthcare overhaul.if obama promised 500% tax hikes on all levels (something americans would disprove) along with change, i'm sure he would've lost[Edited on March 19, 2010 at 9:59 PM. Reason : point is, if americans hated a major part of his platform, they wouldnt have elected him]
3/19/2010 9:57:04 PM
there was only one non-republican candidate on the two-party ballot, dumbass
3/19/2010 9:58:41 PM
Ralph Nader-IndependentBob Barr-Libertarian Chuck Baldwin-Constitution Cynthia McKinney-Green
3/19/2010 10:01:56 PM
and none of them ever had a chance. nice try, though. you're grasping at straws now
3/19/2010 10:09:26 PM
they wouldve had a chance if most americans hated a major part of obama's platform and they all thought mccain was bush. thats the point.
3/19/2010 10:13:04 PM
yes. because the old maxim of "throwing your vote away" persuades no one, cunt

^^you are such an angry person. you finish every sentence with "dumbass," dickface" or some other 8th grade slur when you run out of arguments. As if adding that little insult adds irrefutable evidence to your ramblings.hopefully you'll have public healthcare so that you don't go bankrupt when you inevitably end up in the hospital with an aneurysm. cheers.
3/20/2010 4:34:03 PM
haha. I'll be glad to make you pay for my healthcare what was needed due to a lack of self-control on my part. It'll be the greatest of ironies
3/20/2010 5:56:30 PM
^and i, like many other americans, would be glad to do it. as much of a festering sore you may be, you simply don't deserve to have your life crippled because of healthcare costs.
