yeah I was thinking Thigpen as wellPick TWO RB:Thomas Jones @ SFBrandon Jacobs vs. PhillyBrian Westbrook @ NYGLarry Johnson @ Den
12/2/2008 5:06:15 PM
As weird as this may sound I would seriously consider LJ and Thomas Jones. They have great matchups, LJ had about 200 yards the 1st time he played Denver and Marshawn Lynch had a great game against the 49ers last week and you know Thomas Jones is going to get his carries. But I don't see how you could go wrong starting any combination that you have.
12/2/2008 5:44:56 PM
Would you bench TO against Pitt? I'm already benching my other cowboys -- Barber (Hillis) and Folk.My other receivers are Smitty v TBCotchery v SFHixon v Phi
12/2/2008 7:50:21 PM
^ Thats a tough one. I would play S Smith probably. This game is important for my team this week and I need a win.Which WR with Wayne?Breaston vs STL ( Could be high scoring against a soft def)Welker vs Sea (same)Also which DefMinn vs Det (remember suspensions)Car vs TB (Carolina's def been sucking lately)Thanks
12/2/2008 11:26:22 PM
good weekend to start Cedric Benson if anybody has him
12/2/2008 11:29:07 PM
^hmmm^^ Need to start 2. Minn and Welker
12/2/2008 11:32:15 PM
I have my fantasy football championship game this weekend and I am playing a pretty good team. The winner gets $150 so there is a lot riding on this game and again I am stuck with a predicamentMy RB's (start 3) are:Steven Jackson vs ArizonaWarrick Dunn vs CarolinaMatt Forte vs JacksonvilleWillie Parker vs DallasJamal Lewis vs TennForte is my only clear-cut starter. That leaves 2 openings and there is a lot of talent left in these other guys. Steven Jackson is the Rams offense and he had a good game last week without even touching the ball in the 4th. Warrick Dunn is a good RB he produces a good mix of run/catch and he ran all over Carolina in their last game. Willie Parker is almost 100% and is an explosive player to have, especially with his speed. With Dorsey starting, they are predicting Lewis to have a 25+ carry workload so it could turn into a productive day. What do you guys think?
12/3/2008 9:27:41 AM
Jackson, Forte, Parker...No way in hell you can start Lewis against Tennessee, and since Dunn ran all over Carolina last time, I'm sure they will make it imperative that they stop him this time.
12/3/2008 11:59:56 AM
^ Agreed. Those are the 3 that I would pick. Dunn is also a possibility since Carolina has been having trouble stopping teams and the run the last few weeks.
12/3/2008 12:03:12 PM
With Dunn you have to worry about Cadillac taking a goalline carry or 2 from him(much like last week's 4 carries, 20 yards and a TD). But Carolina is strong against the pass and struggles with the run, don't think their scheming is gonna make up for it. I mean Detroit even put it on them on the ground, which is sad.[Edited on December 3, 2008 at 12:06 PM. Reason : .]
12/3/2008 12:05:31 PM
thx for the advice everyoneI have Forte and Jackson def, but the Dunn, Parker and Lewis decision is going to be toughTenn ranks near the middle against the run, and seeing how thats all that cleveland will be able to do, maybe he will have a big day (Lewis). With Dunn, Im waiting for just what you guys speak of... For him to either get shut-out by Carolina's D bc of their lack of respect they gave him last game or for Cadillac to vulture his goal line carries. Parker is a good play but this represents the only true 2 rb system out of the group with Moore stealing half of the carries. To be honest Im leaning towards Lewis bc winning or losing, he will have to get the ball... Still appreciate more input though, I may just put the names in a damn bag and grab one lol[Edited on December 3, 2008 at 12:17 PM. Reason : .]

lets not get into penis waving here, even 1k is pretty small odd man out:m lynchf gorep hillisbasically for this league i'm at a crossroads, last week of regular season. tied for 5th, playing a guy tied for 3rd, must win by 12 points to own tiebreaker. it feels so wrong but i think lynch and hillis is the playwhat say you
12/3/2008 2:16:01 PM
play the hot handtoo late in the season to go with the bigger nameLynch and Hillis it should beand speaking of pot size penis waving, I'd like to do a TWW money league next year thats more the typical beer money fee...thinking 3-500 entry, maybe moreI know the logistics of this would be hard, but I'll try anyway[Edited on December 3, 2008 at 2:22 PM. who spends 3-500 on beer?
12/3/2008 2:46:20 PM
Titans D vs ClevelandorVikings D vs Detroit
12/3/2008 8:29:28 PM
Titans defense without question, especially now that the Williams' will be out
12/3/2008 9:56:33 PM
Williams might be back.
12/4/2008 7:17:16 AM
To me, its even money between Gore and Hillis.I would agree with the Titan's D.Pick 2 RB:Brian Westbrook @ NYGRonnie Brown @ BufSammy Morris @ SeaLarry Johnson @ DenTim Hightower vs. StL
12/4/2008 9:29:01 AM
I would probably go Westbrook and Hightower/BrownMatt Ryan vs NOorBrett Favre vs SF
12/4/2008 11:06:57 AM
Matt Ryanthis game will score more than 70 pts b/w the two. I Have White and he is predicted for a huge day
12/4/2008 11:08:38 AM
^^^Westbrook will play hard, Johnson vs the horrible Denver D... they will run the ball to keep Cutler off the field[Edited on December 4, 2008 at 11:09 AM. Reason : ^]

So since it wasn't answered earlier:Pick 2:Brian Westbrook vs NYGPeyton Hillis vs KCTim Hightower vs STL
12/4/2008 12:26:40 PM
Rivers vs OAKorShaun Hill vs Jets???Rivers hasn't had a good record against oak and they've shut down the last 4 passers. Still, I'm leaning towards PR.
12/4/2008 12:46:07 PM
Kevin Walter vs. Green Bay or Mark Clayton vs. Washington?
12/4/2008 1:59:16 PM
12/4/2008 2:26:30 PM
Ryan Grant at home vs. HoustonorDeAngelo Williams vs. Tampa Bay
12/4/2008 2:31:33 PM
Pick 3:Hillis vs KCS. Jackson @ ArizC. Portis @ BalHightower vs StlP. Thomas vs AtlMcClain vs WasI'm leaning towards Hillis, Jackson, and Hightower. Portis has a lot of injuries and Bal defense is pretty solid. Thomas and McClain scare me b/c of the potential ball sharing. Hightower hasn't done shit lately, but it's Stl so he has to show up...right?[Edited on December 4, 2008 at 3:27 PM. Reason : ]

12/4/2008 4:38:49 PM
12/4/2008 6:06:19 PM
Jets Pass D is good too right?Go with PR, they are bound to have a better game if he can avoid Nmandi Asomugha
12/4/2008 6:11:16 PM
bitch please
12/4/2008 6:18:54 PM
Nice to see Vincent Jackson show up for my bench this week.
12/4/2008 9:15:47 PM
Sproles is so much better than LT, now, it's shameful that the chargers still start LT.
12/4/2008 11:01:45 PM
It's sad that after 3 years of keeping LT I'm probably going to have to give him up after this season. And it might be even sadder that I'm already considering keepers since I missed out on the playoffs by one game that I lost by 1 point, haha.Brees or LT with a slight chance of Thomas Jones(only if Favre comes back), interesting dilemma.

Hightower vs StLorDeangelo vs TB[Edited on December 7, 2008 at 11:05 AM. Reason : home]
12/7/2008 10:55:18 AM
^ hightower ... AZ doesn't have as much of a two-back system as CAR, and St Louis D is not as stout as TB Defense.Help me out here ...Braylon Edwards, who hasn't done crap since Derek Anderson's injury. They are @ TN, and with God knows who at QB OR Kevin Walter in the frigid temps @ Green Bay (won't get over 15 degrees)?
12/7/2008 11:06:25 AM
^i'd go with walter. that whole frigid temperature thing never effects the wide receivers as much as people say it willone question . my stud marion barber is out today. so i need to decide for my flex:ryan grant vs. houston (is capable of big games or zero point games) ORcotchery vs. 49ers (hasn't done shit in a LONG time, but capable) which one?
12/7/2008 12:08:04 PM
^grant i guess. I have the cotchery problem as wellpick 1cotchery vs SF - hasnt done shit in a whileHixon vs Phi - has done a lot every game he has startedK. Smith vs Min - ok against tough defenses
12/7/2008 12:13:11 PM
Tough call. I'd go with Grant. DeAngelo Williams vs. TB or Peyton Hillis (4 TD's in three weeks as a starter) vs. KC. Everything I have read has said both are must starts.
12/7/2008 12:14:31 PM
Id go with CotchPick 1Cassel vs SEARoth vs DALthis decision will decide my playoffs
12/7/2008 12:14:51 PM
^^ flip a coin? Hillis has the easier defense. Im playing cassellpick a kicker:Carnery vs PhiladelphiaVinatieri vs Cincy
12/7/2008 12:19:14 PM
i'd play cassel
12/7/2008 12:20:17 PM
