oops that was a mistake. you and spaced guy were NR in 2017 and initially my google sheet formula didn't handle that so I updated the posts by hand (until I got to the 900s and got annoyed) and goofed on yours. condolences.

I count them, but it's really a double count because you must count the carets and then count the number of posts. Frequently, when I do that, the referenced posts don't even make sense. That last one should have been 6 carets, not 7! And it would be a courtesy to do something like "^x7" or "^x6".
