That's a great deal for us.

Signed Michael Oher to 2 yr deal
3/6/2015 1:58:20 PM
have always thought that he has been way overrated due to the book/movie, but he's still an upgrade over what we've had
3/6/2015 2:04:08 PM
3/6/2015 2:04:59 PM
slightly better than Byron Bell, so yay?
3/6/2015 2:07:07 PM
as Darin Gannt just tweeted, C's are better than F's
3/6/2015 2:10:56 PM
#uranus
3/6/2015 2:26:23 PM
a cheap stopgap until we find something better via the draft
3/6/2015 4:02:00 PM
Cam needs to find better things to do in his spare time:https://m.youtube.com/?reload=2&rdm=1gawgd2m8#/watch?v=WjNJnyI2JV8

Man I hate both of those signings particularly olsen. Way too much money for an aging injury prone te. He will age like milk and he wasn't even a free agent. Oher sucks Fucking hurney still crippling us with all those mega deals we can't afford anyone
3/7/2015 7:51:22 AM
Olsen missed way too many games last year
3/7/2015 7:55:03 AM
yeah, he hasn't missed a game since the first month of his rookie season. guy is a walking injured reserve spot though.
3/7/2015 8:03:14 AM
Oh he's a beast playing on those balky ankles. That's why I think he and his third leg ages poorly too much money for a guy still under contract
3/7/2015 8:09:33 AM
3/9/2015 12:06:59 PM
Happy about the GINN signing. And Bersin and Fozzy both signed extensions today. Happy to see Fozzy stay around. Couldn't careless about Bersin
3/9/2015 12:34:56 PM
You'd be hard pressed to find somebody happy about Bersin being re-signed. Every tweet from the Panthers account that mentions him is full of LOL-worthy replies.
3/9/2015 1:38:50 PM
3/9/2015 1:47:16 PM
3/9/2015 1:52:50 PM
Bersin is a cheap resign who's role is largely reduced with the Ginn signing. It doesn't hurt us on the field.
3/9/2015 2:09:31 PM
welcome "home", Ginn. ball don't lie.

He really turned it up late in the season. http://www.panthers.com/media-vault/videos/Bene-Benwikere-Defense-can-get-more-sound/88ffdf2b-0f3b-4e7b-b393-be179d66aba2 :kiss:Panthers just signed Joe Webb to a 1-year contract extension. http://www.panthers.com/news/article-2/Panthers-re-sign-versatile-Webb/c1d12162-2b04-4bf9-b443-493215d3884b[Edited on March 9, 2015 at 3:04 PM. Dwan Edwards back for another 2 years.
3/10/2015 1:59:47 PM
Those Charles Johnson and Kalil contracts are what's killing us now. $30M for an aging DE and a damn center.
3/11/2015 5:52:14 PM
You're right, they shouldn't pay offensive linemen. They're worthless.Cue people bitching about cam having no time to pass.[Edited on March 12, 2015 at 6:33 PM. Reason : still better than stewarts contract]]
3/12/2015 6:32:49 PM
am i reading it right that we have 13.33 million cap hit this year for Deangelo, Steve Smith and Charles Godfrey?
3/12/2015 8:18:03 PM
Steelers sign Deangelo
3/13/2015 4:51:53 PM
Hardy to Dallas on a 1 year $11.3 million dealHe'll probably be suspended the first 6 games and the Panthers will probably play them in Week 7 or something.
3/18/2015 5:11:04 PM
Great... 1 year deal so he'll go off, demand a huge contract, then go to Eagles.[Edited on March 18, 2015 at 5:19 PM. Reason : .]

3/18/2015 5:25:38 PM
Hardy's contract is interesting.Base Salary is <$1 million. Rest is all incentive-based, so if he misses a bunch of games he gets less money, etc.
3/18/2015 7:11:21 PM
And if he meets all of his incentives (some related to # of sacks, etc, but many just on how many games he plays), he gets $13.1 million. The exact same amount as the Panthers paid him last year to play 1 game.
3/18/2015 8:20:03 PM
When is the next season starting?
3/30/2015 1:39:04 PM
the draft is a month away. training camp in summer. preseason in august. regular season starts in september.
3/30/2015 2:23:23 PM
So early.
3/30/2015 2:37:46 PM
Oher and J. Martin.... pretty decent FA pickups for OL... Def gives us some depth. Now, how many do we draft and what rounds? Yes, that is a loaded and situation-al question. III
3/30/2015 2:54:14 PM
Signing those guys probably means Getts is looking at other positions in the draft, at least for the early rounds. You don't take the baggage that comes along with those names just for training camp fodder. Or he's just trying to take need out of the equation so we don't reach for a tackle over BPA.
3/30/2015 4:24:37 PM
^That last part is exactly what he's doing. Before FA started we had 2 glaring needs, OT and WR. We picked up 2 of each, all pretty cheap. Now we can truly draft BPA each round of the draft without having to reach for any position. It's a great move, but unlikely that we don't still take OT in the first round. Basically covering ourselves if there is a run on OT in the first round before we pick.
3/30/2015 8:28:45 PM
I'd say safety is a need also. Boston showed flashes last year but also seems injury prone. Harper flipped between adequate and awful all season. I know we signed Coleman, but he just seems like decent depth and special teams material -- not a starter. The draft seems thin on safeties, but maybe Landon Collins falls to us.
3/31/2015 1:59:09 PM
I just don't think safety is a huge position for us with our defensive scheme. I'd still be surprised if we didn't go OL/WR in the first round and RB somewhere in the first 3-4 rounds.
3/31/2015 2:02:02 PM
Don't draft for need. Pick the best player available. If Gurley is still on the board when the panthers pick, they should take him. He's the best RB to come out in a long time, ACL be damned.
3/31/2015 2:43:46 PM
Ok, so everyone so far is thinking along the same lines. We have picked up guys for depth to make sure we are able to get BPA... I can go with that. Hopefully it kicks off good competition too. III
3/31/2015 3:17:55 PM
Gurley would be awesome. But Jerry Jones will trade up for him or some shit.
3/31/2015 5:04:13 PM
Because if the Panthers need anything, it's another injury prone RB
3/31/2015 5:11:44 PM
He's probably the next Adrian Peterson.
3/31/2015 5:16:35 PM
Greg Jennings posted "Done Deal!" on twitter, and a fake Schefter account said '2 yrs to the Panthers'should find out where he signed fairly soon I'd think
3/31/2015 7:16:46 PM
1 torn ACL doesn't make somebody injury prone.Gurley is the most talented player in this class and probably the best RB to come out of college since AP. He's special.
3/31/2015 10:01:43 PM
it's not just a tear ACL. Have you looked at Gurley's injury history?
4/1/2015 8:38:32 AM
Lol its not 1977 and gettleman isnt an idiot. 0% chance we take rb first round. We are going OL, TE, or DL for certain
4/1/2015 9:01:30 AM
Or the BPA... you know... the foundation of his drafting philosophy
4/1/2015 9:19:34 AM
no chance in hell we draft a tight end in the first round
4/1/2015 9:48:20 AM
