Did you post all that in this thread? Who are you mad at?
10/24/2019 2:04:51 PM
I'll take back all my whining if we land Hall

Wrong thread. Fire me. [Edited on November 7, 2019 at 7:43 PM. Reason : A]

4* Center Ebenezer Dowuona and 3* PF Nick Farrar signed their LOIs
11/13/2019 3:06:59 PM
I think this discussion has taken place in this thread but calling Dowuona a 4* is a little generous considering only espn rates him that way
11/13/2019 3:22:42 PM
They're both 5 stars in my heart
11/13/2019 3:28:27 PM
Josh Hall tweeted “Monday” and maybe that means he’s announcing Monday? Or maybe not idk.
11/13/2019 10:54:18 PM
Is it a prob that Hayes didn't sign today?
11/13/2019 11:12:02 PM
no, he tweeted he is signing tomorrow
11/13/2019 11:17:25 PM
That's a 5* post justin
11/13/2019 11:31:19 PM
nobody keeps up with high school boys like our justin
11/13/2019 11:33:05 PM
All 3 commits have signed their LOI apparently. Seems most expect Josh Hall to announce Monday and it seems most believe NC State will be the choice. Also think Hall might be able to pull a Lecque if he wants and go straight to the NBA, but not certain.
11/14/2019 10:16:37 AM
Shakeel Moore announcing his decision tomorrow. 3* combo guard. I think there seem to be positive vibes he’ll commit to State. Still sounds like we’re in good shape with Josh Hall too.
11/15/2019 8:17:43 PM
Moore will commit to state tomorrow night. Ambrose will commit to alabama sunday. Hall will commit to state on monday. 2020 recruiting will be done.
11/16/2019 4:09:04 AM
Moore commits. Not surprising. But good.
11/16/2019 7:37:40 PM
Glad to hear we are getting a solid class after no freshman playing this year.
11/16/2019 10:15:50 PM
If Hall commits, this will be the best freshman class since the Hodge class.
11/16/2019 11:07:49 PM
Better than Harrow, CJL and Zo?
11/16/2019 11:10:02 PM
Yes
11/17/2019 12:50:33 AM
"better"
11/17/2019 12:54:40 AM
2016, 2012, and 2010 are easily better. 2014, 2013, 2007, 2005 and 2004 are arguable.
11/17/2019 7:34:18 AM
i'm not really taking a side in this debate because i don't know enough about this recruiting classbut when we say are "better"...are we talking just raw rankings? or potential? or what?
11/17/2019 7:56:58 AM
Justins opinion and nothing else basically

It’s pretty impossible to compare the 2020 class to any class from the past if your basis for comparison is how much impact a player had on the program. In that sense, we can’t rank the 2020 class against those others until those players are all gone.
11/17/2019 12:12:10 PM
^^huh? I wasn't comparing them to hodges class....This year's class has two top 50ish players and 3 unranked or outside the top 200. The 3 I listed are better.Maybe this year's class are all superstars but you have a tendency to just assume new players are way better bc you don't like current players.
11/17/2019 12:54:11 PM
Hall, Hayes and then 3 guys who may or may not be good is basically the level we should be recruiting at all the time. Honestly, the class probably has one too many fliers in it (especially since Hall is one of those boom/bust guys who has a lot of projection in his ranking) but given the way things go now where anyone who cant play isnt eating a scholarship for more than a year or two it's fine. You can take a bunch of 3* guys you like and then run off the ones who dont pan out since they want to transfer anyway
11/17/2019 6:10:43 PM
I mean, technically with the redshirts, you could really look at next year's class having the true FR as well as a 4* RS-FR in Seabron and a 4* transfer in Thomas Allen. Hall is a 5* on Rivals and a 4* on 247...so I'm going to classify him as a 5* because it sounds better.
11/18/2019 9:09:42 AM
Allen has two years of college ball under his belt, kinda silly to keep referring to him by his star rating. We basically know what he is.
11/18/2019 9:34:29 AM
I think it's fine to include his ranking because he is playing in a new system and is sitting out a year to learn the system and recover from an injury he had during his last season at Nebraska. Dude started 1 season and played 30 minutes per game and shot 36.4% from 3 on a .500 team. I think it's fine to say he's a former 4* just like everyone said Blake Harris was a former 4* when he transferred here. Allen has a good ceiling and fits nicely in our system, it's all about whether or not he can come in and be the 3pt shooter we need him to be.[Edited on November 18, 2019 at 2:44 PM. Reason : .]

11/19/2019 1:37:42 PM
I'm pleasantly surprised.
11/19/2019 3:42:38 PM
Just to nitpick. Our ranking will probably fall by the end of the recruiting cycle because I don’t think we’ll add anybody else. So nowhere to go but down. But this is still really good.
11/19/2019 8:56:15 PM
fwiw247sports says we have the #2, #3, #7 & #8 players in North Carolina (Hall, Hayes, Moore and Farrar, respectively)... none of UNC or Duke's commits are from NC, so farEbenezer plays in Georgia, he's ranked #17 in his stateand we've got a pg, sg, sf, pf and c in this classfwiw[Edited on November 19, 2019 at 9:01 PM.
