Coach = credible

We're back to where we were under Herb. For his first year, just making the tourney is enough. I gave Gott some shit, but this is as pleased as I've been with State BBall since the Sweet 16 run in 04-05 season. With that said, goals for next year to get us back on track:

1. Win the fucking Big 10+2 challenger game
2. Beat Duke/unc at least once
3. Bye in the ACC conference tourney
4. Make the ACC title game
5. Round of 32 or better NCAAs

with the awesome recruits we have coming in, i'm also optimistic...sid's first year was his best, and he blew it with good recruits, but i don't think gott will fizzle out like he did.

When Herb started the cupboard was bare, Gottfried started in a great situation.

He's done a good job to squeeze some extra oomph out of the talent he inherited, but there really wasn't a better job to step into available in the country this year.
