If Shaun Hill plays, I'd play him, which all signs point towards yes:
11/10/2010 2:20:54 PM
tough one......Brady vs PIT or Flacco vs ATL???
11/10/2010 2:35:58 PM
That is a tough one, but I think you gotta go Flacco.
11/10/2010 2:51:18 PM
that's what I'm thinking....basically looking at PIT vs. ATL......otherwise they're similar QB's this season.
11/10/2010 3:10:49 PM
does anyone know who is supposed to start for the Panthers this weekend? Just read the Dolphins are starting Pennington. I have Rivers on bye and this was the one week I was going to have to play my back up...Chad Henne
11/10/2010 3:15:59 PM
Yeah I'd go Flacco as well.I need a QB for the bye week. Sanchez vs. Browns ORShaun Hill vs. Bills Browns are currently 25th against the pass and Bills are 6th (I'm guessing bc they get run on)
11/10/2010 3:19:45 PM
clausen
11/10/2010 3:19:51 PM
could be Clausen or PikePossibly pick up Troy Smith?[Edited on November 10, 2010 at 3:21 PM. Reason : .]
11/10/2010 3:20:27 PM
11/10/2010 3:25:08 PM
Yeah it's Clausen. But I would definitely pick up someone different.Any ideas about my above post about Sanchez (vs Browns) or Shaun Hill (vs. Bills)?
11/10/2010 3:27:18 PM
^tough one...I think Hill will have a good day against the Bills though. Sanchez is quite inconsistent.
11/10/2010 3:29:27 PM
thanks. i was kinda leaning that way myself
11/10/2010 4:32:18 PM
god dammit someone picked up Philly defense while I was napping. DET, WAS, SF, SEA, STL are left. BAL might clear waivers on 13th.DET is of course playing BUF[Edited on November 10, 2010 at 7:10 PM. Reason : ]
11/10/2010 7:09:58 PM
Mike WallaceMike WilliamsBrandon Lloydi need 2 out of those 3. I would keep wallace and williams as they have performed for me....but lloyd leads the league in receiving....so im kinda at a crossroads
11/10/2010 7:12:03 PM
Lloyd is a must.Wallace & Williams could go either way. Although I think I'd keep Wallace.
11/10/2010 7:39:05 PM
Put some hope in Fred Jackson or assume Thomas Jones will get enough carries?
11/10/2010 7:39:36 PM
I would go with Jones, Detroit has a very underrated defense and the Bills offensive line will more than likely get no push against the Lions front.Vernon Davis v STLor Jacob Tamme v Cincy
11/10/2010 11:13:22 PM
^I would go Tamme.Bye week fill in at QBBrett Favre @ ChiShaun Hill @ BufVince Young @ MiaCutler vs MiaCassel @ DenThoughts?
11/10/2010 11:57:08 PM
What kind of league are you in with those guys as FAs?Cassel has been steady lately and Denver's D is atrocious against the pass
11/11/2010 2:34:25 AM
A lot of those guys are FA's in most of my leagues. Most people in my leagues just keep their main QB to leave space for RB's and WR's.
11/11/2010 3:28:49 AM
^^ Guy dropped Favre a couple weeks ago for Fitzpatrick, and then this week a guy dropped Cutler for Carson Palmer.I had my waivers pick up Favre on wed morning because I have Harvin and Shiancoe, but that was before I had a def on Hill or the others. So should I drop Favre for one of the others?
11/11/2010 7:47:00 AM
I had a feeling this day was coming, but for those of you who are still holding onto LT, now would be an excellent time to sell high on him
11/11/2010 9:02:19 AM
son of a... looks like Torain is going to be getting more duty then
11/11/2010 9:14:57 AM
be careful with that too, Portis is trying to come back this week or next
11/11/2010 9:24:37 AM
May be questionable but I am thinking of putting Steve Johnson in this week over one of these 3 guys, am I an idiot?Reggie Wayne v CincyBrandon Lloyd v KC (Brandon Flowers worries me)Roddy White v Balt
11/11/2010 10:20:48 AM
Yes.
11/11/2010 10:40:02 AM
How does everyone feel about starting Hillis against the Jets D?My other two RBs are MJD and LeSean McCoy. My two WRs are Dwayne Bowe and DeSean Jackson.I can throw Hillis or Dez Bryant in my flex spot. Any thoughts?
11/11/2010 10:53:13 AM
ayton was a bye week pickup for me as wellI just got offered this trade in yahoo:Hakeem NicksJeremy MaclinChris CooleyforPatrick CraytonMalcolm FloydJacob TammePersonally, I almost shit a brick when I saw this because Nicks would be the best WR on my team if I accepted this trade. I have Vernon Davis, I picked up Tamme for the bye week (that worked out beautifully). I think I should accept this trade. What do you experts think?[Edited on November 11, 2010 at 10:57 AM. Reason : Crayton was a bye week pickup as well, so I really don't see why I shouldn't pull the trigger on it.]
11/11/2010 10:55:30 AM
^ Haha that guy is in idiot. Definitely take the trade and laugh at him afterwards. Roddy White is expected to play tonight even though he has a knee injury and had limited practice on Wed. Anyone worried about playing him? Id hate to have him in and he leaves after a quarter because of the pain.[Edited on November 11, 2010 at 10:56 AM. Reason : a]
11/11/2010 10:55:42 AM
yeah i just hope the other owners are just as dumb and don't veto it.
11/11/2010 11:00:46 AM
11/11/2010 11:08:00 AM
now that Sidney Rice looks like he might actually play this week I'll ask about this trade one more time:I give:Frank GoreI get:Mike VickKnowshon MorenoSidney Ricemy current roster is:QB: Jay Cutler, David GarrardRB: Arian Foster, Matt Forte, Shonn Greene, Frank GoreWR: Roddy White, Santana Moss, Randy Moss, Malcolm Floyd, Pierre Garcon
11/11/2010 11:23:19 AM
I didnt see it the first time, but I'd take it all day even before Sidney Rice was going to play. A good QB solidifys that team and Moreno is a pretty good RB when healthy.
11/11/2010 11:29:28 AM
I don't know about that. 3-for-1 seems like a good deal, but that just means you have to drop two other guys anyway unless you have open roster spots. That leaves you pretty thin at RB. Foster and Gore have been great. Forte's only had two really good weeks and has been inconsistent. Shonn Greene has been terrible. So the way I see it, you upgrade at QB, maybe stay even/slight upgrade at WR and big-time downgrade at RB (Moreno had two great weeks to start the season then got hurt. He might be OK, but you know how those hammy injuries go.)For me, it would depend on what's left in the FA pool at WR and RB.(edit: full disclosure, I tend to be a bit more conservative at trades and prefer to pick up FAs)[Edited on November 11, 2010 at 11:31 AM. Reason : ]
11/11/2010 11:29:32 AM
Shonn Greene has been borderline startable over the last few weeks, and now that he has Rex's blessing to get more carries every week, I think he is going to put up even better numbers for the rest of the year. With that said, I would probably start Moreno immediately alongside Foster. I would probably drop Garrard and Garcon to make room for Moreno and Rice. If Randy Moss doesnt catch on with the Titans, or if Malcolm Floyd stays out for a couple more weeks, Rice could be a solid member of my starting lineup. My WRs are strong already, but if Rice picks up where he left off with Favre, he will be more valuable than Santana, Randy and Floyd going forward - Roddy White will still by my WR1.The more I look at this, the more I like the trade. I hate to lose Gore, he was my #1 pick, but Vick is a stud and a huge upgrade over Cutler and Garrardeven though I probably wont pick up any free agents with the talent already on my team, available FAs are:Ryan Mathews, Felix Jones, Marion Barber, Fred Jackson, CJ Spiller, Marshawn Lynch, Clinton Portis, Donald Brown, Dexter McCluster, Donald Driver, Mike Williams (sea), Lance Moore, Steve Breaston, Nate Burleson[Edited on November 11, 2010 at 11:48 AM. 11/11/2010 11:37:26 AM
Well good. Now that that's settled:How does everyone feel about starting Hillis against the Jets D?My other two RBs are MJD and LeSean McCoy. My two WRs are Dwayne Bowe and DeSean Jackson.I can throw Hillis or Dez Bryant in my flex spot. Any thoughts?
11/11/2010 11:44:26 AM
I would definitely start Hillis in your flex spot. He has put up good numbers against good defenses this season already. It might not be 180 yard, 2TD game, but he's playing out of his mind right now. I wouldnt bench him until he slows down
11/11/2010 11:50:24 AM
Pick 1 to start.Favre vs CHI (put up insane numbers last week but is still hobbling on that ankle).Fitzpatrick vs DET (good matchup but has lost Parrish for the season which hurts their passing game)Sanchez vs CLE (possibly good matchup but CLE shutdown Brady last week so I'm weary of that).Bradford vs SF (good matchup with no real downside that I can think of other than the fact that he doesn't put up huge numbers).
11/11/2010 2:27:18 PM
^I'd go with Fitz or Bradford...I see them having point production within 2-3 of each other.I grabbed Donald Brown off of waivers this week...anyone think he's gonna pan out, or should I keep him benched and try to package him in a trade?
11/11/2010 2:31:09 PM
^not sure, but I doubt I'd start Favre.I don't know why people think Detroit's passing game will suffer, they still have Calvin Johnson and Nate Burlson, which may get defended a bit more, but they are both good receivers.
11/11/2010 2:31:59 PM
because it will be Drew Stanton throwing to them.
11/11/2010 2:33:44 PM
Shaun Hill is the starting QB, and the comment wasn't about the QB but about Parrish.

jesus christ, who pissed in your cornflakes?I just posted what rotowire said for Drew Stanton. Shaun Hill broke his forearm and could barely take snaps in practice.
11/11/2010 4:34:44 PM
Yea, and the report has changed since then, that's all I'm saying.
11/11/2010 5:09:50 PM
Guy just proposed a trade to me: I give Randy Moss and get Davone BessThis is a PPR league and I already have Hakeem Nicks and Mike Wallace. I need a Wes Welker type to get me a consistent 10 points a game and Moss has pissed me off all season (he's def lost a step)Should I accept the trade?
11/11/2010 6:09:18 PM
DEF:Baltimoreor...New England (@Pit)Chicago (Min)Detroit (@Buf)Denver (KC)Cleveland (NYJ)Indy (Cin)
11/11/2010 6:30:29 PM
Baltimore. What about the above possible trade?
11/11/2010 6:31:51 PM
I'd wait and see how Pennington and Bess get along first. Moss could be very good in TEN.
